This phone deserves every penny, come one guys:
    - HDR 10 display
    - CNC High end build quality / Aluminum A6000 / 2.5D glass
    - IMX 363 + OIS, The same sensor as Google pixel 3 camera with support of Google pixel 3 camera APK - HDR+
    - Qualcomm 710 is super awesome, better than Qualcomm 810 - or even Qualcomm 820
    - 10nm processing manufacturing
    - Android One, enough said
    - 4K video / All camera goodies of Nokia and Google
    - Big pixel size and sensor size
    - Quick charger / 18W
    - Great selfies with very new sensor and 20 MP
    - High Cri Flash - Very natural colors
Sorry but there is no comparison with One plus or Xiaomi, This is a real Finnish quality product not only a Chinese product try to convince you that you get the latest Qualcomm processer with a shitty quality package

I think this phone is priced at 27k coz if they would have priced it around 22k then no one would buy the 7.1 which is around 20k. However, 27k would have made sense if it included 6gb ram and 128gb storage but for 4gb ram is just too much.

@@noobmaster1231 The way I see it, Nokia 8.1 is the exact opposite of Poco. Poco has plastic body but a flagship processor, ir face unlock, larger battery whereas Nokia 8.1 has premium build, display but a capable processor. Camera performance are pretty much similar, although 8.1 performs slightly better. Speaker quality is a subjective matter. At the end it depends on what you want. If you want raw power but have budget issues then Poco but if you want premium and strong build, nice display but has a very capable mid range processor and don't mind paying a little extra, then Nokia 8.1 it is.

In 3 words...yes it is.,I was really hyped about Nokia 8.1 launch here, the code name company had given to it "pheonix", promised a phone with great calibre and would rise like a pheonix in mid-range phone market, but at 27k Nokia had pored water on all the hype, I am now waiting for poco F2 to flash a pixel experience ROM on it and use it as my daily driver, as a fan of stock Android I cannot skip on hardware, and at this price poco especially with a stock custom rom is unbeatable, Ash you should make a dedicated video on flashing custom rom especially the pixel experience.

It is a rip-off for sure. And that's not based on the price gap between the Chinese and the Indian variant. It's basically 4GB RAM at ₹27k in 2018 with no lifestyle features to differentiate like an IP rating, dual speakers or anything like that. Last I checked, there's not even an optional 6GB RAM variant available. Sure, the design is good, SD710 is good. But in that case, the phone doesn't feel like it's adding much value on top of the 7.1 or even the 6.1 plus. A big NO from me!

Please if u have the idea of buying Nokia 8.1 and are confused because of something like display /battery/sound please don't listen to this person and just buy it.He is heavily sponsored by vivo , is very highly biased and frankly recommending crap.I am an audiophile and I had a big dilemma bcz of the fact that some novice reviewers had commented that the audio on Nokia is very bad. These guys are all heavily sponsored and biased dont listen to them.I owned a LG v series phone with a dedicated 32 bit dac before this phone. After reading hundreds of reviews and in-depth analysis of stats I went on to buy the Nokia 8.1 and the audio quality via the 3.5mm jack is fine .Don't use the earphones provided with the phone buy good quality earphones and use .The audio dac in Nokia 8.1 works just fine.It has very neutral and flat signature. The sound stage is narrow and there is a bit of hightened trebble but the rest is absolutely fine.Any way in order to really criticize the sound signature you need to have a open back very high end studio monitors with lossless audio. But thes reviewers are just plugging in some crappy earphones and just commenting stupid stuff to confuse us and nudge us towards the sponsored device.Nokia 8.1 overall best under 40k best build, screen, camera, battery. The sound part of it is also absolutely fine for listening for the average consumer

Yeah it's totally. IMPOSSIBLE to get a good phone excluding Nokia.
      Asus Zenfone 5z (6GB RAM + 64GB) starts at ₹ 25k.
Galaxy S8 and LG G7 ThinQ at ₹30k but I always look forward to Nokia because of ‘Android One’.
If Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 at 15k can provide Gorilla Glass 6 why can't Nokia 8.1 do that; maybe due to price cut.
Or, what would you say except Samsung, and Nokia all other brands are cheap and chinese.
Like Asus, Foxconn (Nokia phone manufacturer) is also Taiwanese.
It's always not about Xiaomi's build quality. Again not buying Mi or POCO.
But you can't hide the fact that Nokia overpriced the 8.1, just by blaming Xiaomi for making cheap phones.
Nokia should have given 6GB variant. Pixel 3 with 4GB RAM having RAM management issues and got beaten by OP 6T.

I would love to pay few more bucks only for Nokia's brand, built quality, Zeiss optics, lighting fast update etc but they are charging more than that. I would love to buy this phone over Poco f1@24k only because it's Nokia.

The Indian version and the Chinese version are not same. HMD Global has added some features in the Indian version which are not present in the Chinese version. For eg: Indian version supports NFC and it is powered by AndroidOne which are absent in Chinese version. And not only this there are few other features which are present in the Indian version but not in Chinese version. Just go through the Nokia's Indian website and you'll get to know what's there in the Indian version of Nokia 8.1..

It's now 18k on Amazon. Check offline price and do some bargaining maybe you will get less than 18k.

The problem with devices in this range is although the pricing is correct according to the specs offered but Xiaomi just killed this mid budget section with Poco F1.Any user who is seeking a phone in this range with obviously go for Poco looking at specs being offered. So although Nokia is doing a great job here but can't help......

Do you know which LTE bands it supports? I could not find this info online for the India variant (I saw the supported bands for the Taiwan variant). The 8.1 is not being sold in my country so I am looking at buying it from India, Taiwan or the Middle East.
