I lived on Fort RUGER three and a half years located on Diamond head avenue when I was 5-8 years old! Will never forget it and thanks for these nice memories! We used to walk out the back door when my dad was home and walk up the mountain to the crater! I have lived a fairly blessed life!😊
I used to walk my dog through that area till 2011. Looks a little different now with the new path and the new KCC culinary school where the Canon Club was. The bush area is still the same, with homeless camps hidden in there. I was hoping there would be an effort to create a new hiking trail that goes around the base of the crater.

We haven't been around this area in awhile. it's all new to me.
