what's up bro... hey just so you know... if you had kept following that stream up towards the top of the mountain you would have hit that secret waterfall Elua Pohuku ("Two Rocks", just to give it an unofficial name). it would have taken you another 45 - 60 mins traveling upstream to get there.
I'm making a faster way. u can get to upper lulumahu by actually going to lulumahu falls and about 300 ft before the waterfall you can take this small trail that takes you up on the ridge closest to the pali highway... I just like to call it "K1 ridge" and as you come up that trail takes you right above the lulumahu falls and and u can drop in like literally right above everyone else sitting at the bottom of the waterfall. not sure if u knew but there is like a waterfall twice as big right above lulumahu falls. u have to repel down.
Sounds like another hike added to my list!! I heard there was another trail that goes to it via the bottom waterfall, but never looked for it. But, now that I know theres a bigger waterfall up there.... Thanks for sharing!!
i heard there is another trail that heads up to the falls from the regular trail but i havent found it yet!! probably have to hunt around for it... topo map would help i bet. thanks for watching!!
I heard there is a way to get up there from the bottom of the falls. I think (?) that someone fell not too long ago so be careful. I wanted to go explore and find it but keep forgetting about it lol
i want to find the other way to the upper falls. think maybe missed a turn? I gotta get out and hit the trails again soon! too much work!! thanks for watching and i hope i added you on facebook!
SWEET!!! Take me! Awesome hike and vid!

How long did this take? I'm wanting to do this but need to know how much water/snacks to bring
if you watch the video, right at the very end I tell how long it took and how far the hike is. this one was 11 miles and 6 1/2 hours! wow long hike!
I would love to join if you choose to do this hike again! I recently sent you a friend request on facebook :) excited to hike!
