Owned it for 2 months now and the review here is spot on. We as bike enthusiasts need Aprilia to win with the RS457 so that it sends strong signals to everyone in Italy, rest of Europe, Japan, SKorea and the US that this is a winnable game when you make these vehicles in India. Bike and Car buyers really are tired of the ones that come with their import taxes.

Also to mention unfortunately I was forced to use RSA once as my tyre got panchared around 50km away from my house in dive ghat and I was not carrying the panchar kit. The RSA guys came in 30 to 45 mins and helped me. My point here is I was not expecting RSA to work that smoothly.

I will start saving for Tuono 457. I liked the music and the contrast between Italian and Folk music. Please create a seperate playlist for the music you use in vidoes.
Same here! Test rode the RS and adored it. I've always ridden torquey upright motorcycles and I've wanted to try out a sports bike for a long time. This was delightful. I didn't like the Duke's empty feeling low end, and it put me off extra sporty high revving engines; but this one was such a delight to ride. It didn't have mind blowing low end and mid range, but it made up for all that in how effortlessly it made its power, and you were doing mind boggling speeds without ever feeling the strain on the engine, like the Duke's whine. What a superb engine. I can't wait for the Tuono! I prefer it's semi faired styling, and all they should change is to raise and widen the handlebars a tad.
Bought mine 3 weeks ago and have been loving it. I'm not planning on keeping it forever, as it's my first sports bike, but it does have plenty of power for a lighter rider like me. It's very nimble, light, and great on gas. It gets compliments everywhere I go, it is a beautiful bike. Usually I never buy anything first generation, but since the factory warranty is 2 years, that's about the time I'm planning on upgrading. I really have no complaints other than the high beam switch is easy to flip while using the clutch, so that's kind of annoying, and my low beam would not work the other night so I had to use the high beam the whole way home. However, when i got home, I turned the bike off and back on, and the low beam was working again.
Believe me, I'm even more mad at Japanese than probably anyone, they ruined their Motogp bikes by not keeping up with tech. They ruined everything in WorldSuperbikes by not giving any update to R1, in fact they discontinued the iconic crossplane screamer in Europe. Japanese have been lazy and pathetic.

Hey Prabhdeep! We won't speculate. The only reason we're sure of the Tuono 457 is because there's never been an RS-series Aprilia (since the Mille) that didn't have a Tuono to go with it.
You know its going to be a great bike when you cant wipe the grin off Shumi's face when talking about an Aprilia. Hope Aprilia listens and makes the cintered break-pads standard.
good looking two wheelers from Aprilia .. but poor quality parts .. pathetic service and parts availabilty .. I am a victim of the same and fighting a dispute in the consumer court now !! 🙁
@@yathishbl3757, Aprilia is good looking with larger wheels .. good road grip . Riding comfort etc . I faced 2 issues .. complete clutch damaged within around 1000 km use .. Another issue the seats lock cable broke , for which first they said will replace the cable . Later said there is no part available as the cable and the entire seat to be replaced costing 4500/-. Instead of providing 200Rs worth cable 😀 which all other scooter manufacturers provides including Vespa .. Now it is in the court .. If you are planning to buy be ready to face multiple issues of this kind .. Several customers are facing similar issues
@@motorinc I really feel you guys should do an update series- where you update about existing products and their after purchase story, If it’s better or worse or however the story may be. The vertical format that you guys usually do for smaller stuff! I’d be happy to even read an article about it’
@@motorinc it's in the newly opened showroom in Chinchwad, Pune. They had 6 7 bikes ready in the basement. All three colors. Experience was good. Even the test drive bike was in a good condition. Staff was polite. My experience with not so common brands has been good so far, like Aprilia, Triumph. Showrooms are in good condition and staff behaves like they need your money. Contrary to Royal Enfield or Hero or KTM (Akurdi).. where no one is bothered about even saying Hello
You made it clear that what a normal bike needs in the long run including brakes and suspensions on the indian roads. And as it is a new motorcycle have to wait for atleast 1 year to observe its quality and reliability. Your review was geniune ❣️
Music composition, execution and editing - wow, wow and more wow! ❤❤👏 Schumi seems as happy and contented as a kid who had his wishlist of toys, gizmos and candy fulfilled for Christmas!!! My word, is he happy. 😂
Hang on a second!!! Is it just me who feels the background music should be shared with premium Italian restaurants in India because it immediately took me to a place with lemon grass trees, stylishly clothed human beings, plates full of hearty meals and a glass of wine!! And an occasional roar of an Aprilias or Ferraris passing by!!
I got my Baramati Bellissima home about 2.5 weeks ago yet just hearing you talk about it is as profound an experience as it gets. Superb video as always!
Sitting in a world that resembles the corporate jungle, with everyone rushing to find some meaning, MotorInc is my comfort. Shumi, you are a therapist, a master storyteller, and what not. I think you are in the wrong line of work. Shumi for next PM.
I don't know who writes shumi's script but what he seems to narrate so easily and fluidly are things that become so sacrosanct that I go back and listen again and again even after months sometimes. It's like that thing they say about Tamil actor Rajnikanth and his movie dialogue, "if I say it once, it's like I've said it a thousand times" 😂 I have done 5 to 6 small test rides to verify what he had to say about aspects of a bike and have found him spot on. Sometimes I've given a memory break so I forgot what he said about a bike, rode it again and seen his video again just to realise that he had already mentioned it. You are too good man, I love you ❤️
Excellent breakdown of such an excellent motorcycle. Just what was expected from Motorinc, information that breaks through the clutter of "usual" motorcycle reviews. My takeaway: Was looking to book it this month, but will be waiting a few more months till the unknowns become knowns. But definitely getting a test ride this week.
For anyone wondering, it does come with sintered brake pads as stock, same one that was used in gen 2 duke. It’s mostly the brake oil and not the pads. Only an oil change and riding it again on track will confirm this.
The reason why we think it's the pads, @KKsRealm, is because the international tests (on track, just like the Indian media preview) were with Aprilia Race Pads (official accessory) but no other changes. And those groups of riders never complained about the brakes. The _only_ change as far as we can tell us the pads
Yes. And if their tyres were better, that would only load the brakes up with more heat... which again says the pads they used solved the issue we're having
The only concern I see is about warranty. 36000 kms is less for someone who has 1 bike garage and rides more. Saying this coz already riden my RR310, 32000 in past 1.5 yrs. And the video is fantastic video as always & the BGM is perfectly blending.
Thanks Mukesh. Yes, if you're riding that much, the warranty won't be enough and Aprilia has not offered extensions so far. Might be worth exploring third-party extended warranties

Damn, Shumi is the maestro of motorcycles. His calm way of representing the truest of truths through his wit and sarcasm is just mad genius.
Thank you @forbearingmotorhead!
Piaggio three wheelers service 🗿🗿🗿
Piaggio two wheelers service 🤡🤡🤡
Indeed! That's something they have to fix! We hope they will.
@@motorinc I really feel you guys should do an update series- where you update about existing products and their after purchase story,
If it’s better or worse or however the story may be.
The vertical format that you guys usually do for smaller stuff!
I’d be happy to even read an article about it’
I have driven more then 1200km for the last one month and I loved every single km from this beauty 😍😍
Oh wow! Sounds like you're having a great time @mneleon3789!
Japan catching strays😅
🤣
Lezim bgm used, great.
I'm in final phases to select this bike over D390. Need extensive test ride to understand how bad is it on back comfort
All the best @swapnilsaraf5076, keep us posted on how that goes.
Hey Shumi,
Your voice is as smooth as a fine-tuned sports bike engine and as refined as a high performance engine purring with precision and power!
Thank you @aboveall.7!
I took the TD today.. it evoked very strong feelings in me.. what a motorcycle. Amazing 😍
Glad to hear that @pratikindia27! Thanks for sharing... Where'd you get your test ride?
@@motorinc it's in the newly opened showroom in Chinchwad, Pune. They had 6 7 bikes ready in the basement. All three colors. Experience was good. Even the test drive bike was in a good condition. Staff was polite.
My experience with not so common brands has been good so far, like Aprilia, Triumph. Showrooms are in good condition and staff behaves like they need your money. Contrary to Royal Enfield or Hero or KTM (Akurdi).. where no one is bothered about even saying Hello
Video quality is absolutely best
Thanks a ton! We'll pass your compliments on to the team!
You made it clear that what a normal bike needs in the long run including brakes and suspensions on the indian roads. And as it is a new motorcycle have to wait for atleast 1 year to observe its quality and reliability. Your review was geniune ❣️
Thank you @Hilltwon.
Music composition, execution and editing - wow, wow and more wow! ❤❤👏 Schumi seems as happy and contented as a kid who had his wishlist of toys, gizmos and candy fulfilled for Christmas!!! My word, is he happy. 😂
Thanks a ton! We’ll pass your compliments on to the team!
It’s true. Good bikes make Shumi happy!
Haha thank you @PranavKakade7741!
I just want to watch this video on repeat😁, so satisfying.
Happy to hear that @kartikeychhipa3813!
This video took me back in the era of Radio and Doordarshan news..language..voice..bg music upto the mark. Really nice and informative video 👍
Thanks for watching @happyvish.
I got my Baramati Bellissima home about 2.5 weeks ago yet just hearing you talk about it is as profound an experience as it gets. Superb video as always!
Wonderful @sri1602! Congratulations!
Sitting in a world that resembles the corporate jungle, with everyone rushing to find some meaning, MotorInc is my comfort. Shumi, you are a therapist, a master storyteller, and what not. I think you are in the wrong line of work. Shumi for next PM.
Thank you for the kind words @kartikjayan but Shumi says he doesn't wanna be anywhere else than here!😊
“Organic traffic and engagement is Gold, brake pads, not so much’ 😂🤣😂🤣😂. Great one!
The quality of content these guys put on is just 💎💎
Thank you @MB12074!
You are too good man, I love you ❤️
Awesome! Thank you! And we’ll pass your compliments on to the team as well!
The smile says it all.. This is a bike to buy!
Take a test ride and if you liked it make a booking but as Shumi says in the video, wait as long as you can before you take delivery @17nirmalya.
🤜🏽🤛🏽
Thanks RR! Do let us know how it goes. And Aprilia RS 457 RR sounds excellent!
I just love the italian vibe to a inherent powerful motorcycle being reviewed ❤. Top job team
Glad you liked it @prakharraj9027!
The Marathi - Italian music choice is superb 😂❤
❤️
bro went heaven just to shoot this video for us!!
Haha! Thankfully he also retuned 😊
The looks!
It looks so stunning, I wouldn't care if it had a 150cc motor ... what a beautiful motorcyle!
♥️
Everything is good except the Barbeque grill at the rear.
That lavni background music 😘
It's a legal requirement unfortunately @ankitsingh-sym!🤷🏾♂️
Very much like the croping transition and the music , kudoos to the editer.
Thank you @iammubashid, we'll pass on your compliments to the team.
How often do we talk about the video editors? I mean Shumi is fantastic almost always but the quality of video here is exceptional!! Fucking love it
Thank you @shuvam_j! We'll pass your compliments on to the team.
Last me if Shumi had said.. chala.. laukar after the marathi bando.. blissfull ✨️
♥️
editing and audio is 11/10
Thanks a ton! We'll pass your compliments on to the team!
The smile on Shumi's face says it all..!!!!
❤️
The Lavani music ❤❤❤
.
Editors, shout out to you 😂😂 Great Job!!!
.
And Shumi, "Baramaati" 🇮🇹🤌🤌🤌🤌
Thanks a ton! We’ll pass your compliments on to the team!
I think I'm going to watch this video repeatedly ❤ Pure bliss 😇
Thank you @the_cbz_rider!
@@motorinc they also ran a different tyre setup, if I’m not mistaken
Yes. And if their tyres were better, that would only load the brakes up with more heat... which again says the pads they used solved the issue we're having
Man that bgm is on point good job
Thank you @anirbanpaul2806!
Here to see Shumi sir only....
Listening to him speak is therapy!
😊❤
Thank you for taking the time to watch @kevindlima3392. And for the kind words too...😊
The only concern I see is about warranty.
