Rodrigo is a living stereotype/meme (in a good way lol). Like what are the chances of a massive nerd, collects legos, star wars fan who ALSO wears big goggle glasses while playing in the nfl....and of course the position he plays kicker. Sounds and looks like a nerd/geek too lmao. What a guy😂
I learned recently that a nerd, and a geek is actually different, a nerd is someone who's just unattractive, lacks social skills, badly/un-socialized etc. A "geek" is what I used to think a "nerd" was, someone who has a passionate interests and hobbies in certain topics, like tech/comics/toys/games etc, and actually are typically quite social (or capable of being social they want/need to).

That is the one position I'd never want to play. Arguably one of the most critical positions on the team! You literally have games on your shoulders depending on one kick..how many championships have been won or lost by "just a kicker"

People don't understand this. The percentages youre expected to make are insane. You can be playing perfectly well hit all your pats and have a couple fgs but if you miss a game winning kick that was from a makable distance you're gonna be gone by the next week
@@beverlymarsh233 this is true. people think NFL kickers are missing so many kicks this season. but the fact is, they are still making more than they are missing lol. but no one cares about good kicks unless it's an important game or a record(a game winner of course). everyone cares about bad kicks no matter the game.

@@anomiemnemonical578 He makes almost 800K a year. In Indianapolis, even after taxes, that's enough to buy a house and still have plenty of money left. He's good though. Should play out his entire rookie deal, make $3M, then and probably get at least one nice contract.

I went to high school with Rodrigo my freshman year. He wouldn't remember me but in the limited interactions I had with him, he was the nicest, most genuine guy. Couldn't be happier for the guy

@@jldp24 actually i remember tons of bills fans wanted to draft him late. Hauschka was great but his career was over and the bills so badly needed a Legit kicker. Remember some being mad that we took bass over him. Worked out great as bass has been good.
Dude is listed as "Height 6′ 1″, Weight 183 lbs" the glasses hide that he is clearly a good athlete who works in the gym and eats right. Not a stringbean that would get blown away by a stiff breeze at all.
If those stats are correct, we're exactly the same size and i can confirm we very much are stringbeans that would get blown away by a stiff breeze. Dude just has a hell of a leg. No doubt he works out, he's in the NFL after all, but his talent is natural.
