yes and is authentic to their personalities. could also use our handy tech solutions to slow down the playback speed or lower our volume haha. love the kitchen space
Having the dining room with the colourful floral wallpaper makes it stand out which is perfect. I don't like stools / bar chairs at an island. Generally uncomfortable to sit on. In my opinion, the kitchen island is a meal preparation space not a hosting space. I don't have seating at my kitchen island. My home is open plan and my dining table chairs are one big step away from the edge of the island benchtop. Kudos for making your home fit your needs and tastes.
Botrie sisters - 2 for the price of one! Beautiful home and yay to the banqette! Don't love the 2 sofas/TV area. But if the homeowners love their decisions, who am I to judge Every element seems well thought out and personal to them. Another beautiful project by Olivia.
Both Botrie sisters! What could be better! Love Jenna's place. The green cabinets look great. I also love the wallpaper choices. One of these days, I will be bold enough to try it!☺
@@sarahkoho7794 Hello?!? It's stated in the title that it's "whimsy and color", which obviously is not the case, so that's what the OP is pointing out. Holy smokes. Not the brightest bulb, eh?
I really love Olivia's upbeat and energetic vibe and I would die to be her friend. However I think I would need to take a nap after being with her for a few hours.
I hate stools at the island. I understand they are helpful for limited seating spaces but I regret my decision to incorporate that look into my kitchen. There are too many chairs. I love the wallpaper. It reminds me of murano glass.
Nicely done with warm vintage 30's vibes. Love the banquet area, but would change the table & chairs. They seem a bit bright white for the space. I would have loved chairs that pulled a color from the gorgeous wall paper in the dining room. I'm not sure why, but the dinning room table seems under scaled. Yes, a glass pocket door for a half bath on a main floor is a very odd design choice. Thank goodness they changed that.
I never understand how the TV is positioned in a corner and the couchs are facing one another and not the TV, which I would think would be uncomfortable to watch TV?!!
The wallpaper is beautiful if you look up close, but on a big wall, it's a bit busy for the eye. I would break it with a big mirror or a big painting between the 2 windows. Also the dining room needs a big plant in my opinion. In the living room I would put more beautiful chairs to pair with the banquette, but maybe their current choice is because of having small children who can easily ruin more precious chairs.
The most whimsical and colourful part of this presentation had to be those sisters; it certainly wasn’t the house. Also, they got RID of a fireplace? That’s sacrilege.
The entry is a bit color less. Millwork on the wall above the bench would be a nice touch instead of a white wall. It looks like a back secondary entry. My two cents worth
This comment is not about the house; rather, it’s about whomever it is that supplies the episode titles: They are so rarely accurate when it comes to color. It’s a neutral space with one wall that offers a bit of color that even the owner admits reads as a pastel from a distance. Please do better for those of us who wouldn’t waste our time looking at homes that don’t tickle our fancy. Words matter.
Great job. Not a fan of the grandma wallpaper in the dining room….but hey, as long as you like it! A geometric wallpaper would have suited the place better imo.
No to the matching sofas. No to the 2 eating areas -- the dining room was unnecessary and could have had another useful function instead of being another show-off furniture repository.
Olivia and her sister! This is wonderful. Gorgeous space, gorgeous women!
Appreciate your kind words!
That kitchen is stunning. I love all of the color choices.
The kitchen makes it homely. Love it .
Wonderful Reno, fun sisters.
Love that kitchen! The cabinets are gorgeous!
I want you both to have your own show 😍😍😍
It’s beautiful!!! Like Olivia said when designing a space for yourself do what makes YOU happy. I love it!!
Exactly!
Always loved Olivia’s work!!
Finally a feature with personality! Love this house & then fun wallpaper in the dining room
Appreciate that!

It's so true!
Two fast talkers!!! Love Love Olivia Botrie and all her work!
Loud and fast talkers lol

We can't help ourselves!
Love the moody kitchen, great color combo.
(SURPRISINGLY:) I really like the wall paper!! It’s fun 🤩
Love the kitchen color!❤😊

Great to see a home with colour and pattern.
Bravo house and home for having intelligent designers who are thoughtful and dont talk in upspeak

No one asked, but, I LOVE the wallpaper...
Love the house and the sisters!
They sound and look sooo similar! Wow 😊❤
It’s such a cozy and welcoming home. Olivia, I subscribed to your Dart Studio channel too.
Thank you so much!
Great job! 👏
The kitchen looks amazing!
Olivia and her banquets!
Where's the whimsy and color?

Hmmm, does this imply you are bright? 😂 Sounds more like RUDE!!!
Didn’t you watch the video? Didn’t you see the wallpaper?
@@susanmoorewerner8444 erm, yes. That counts as "whimsy and colour" in a land of visual famine...
You are not wrong. I liked the house but to me it didn't say color and whimsical.@@loveforeignaccents

What gives it a 30s vibe?
So beautiful! Could you please share the wallpaper info? Thank you
It’s from house of hackney
How is the kitchen not everyone’s cup of tea?? It’s been literally all over the internet for a several years now.
I love this channel🤎
I guess the wallpaper was the only thing that was colorful and whimsical
Really like the dining room wallpaper, what company is it from?
@@kimevershed983 Hollyhocks from House of Hackney. I believe it's summer.
Is the color and whimsy in the room with us?
We need some links please! Especially the pendant lights and chandelier

Studio green my farrow and ball

You sit/recline on the couches with feet up facing the tv. Very comfortable 😊

Nice video 📽️
YIKES @ that floral wallpaper!

Sadly the fireplace didn’t work.
Whimsy And Color ok.
Why did they remove the fireplace?
It didn’t work.
Wrong title
Where is the flower wallpaper from?

"Whimsy And Color"
None of those things.

The editing is so poor : 5 seconds of high speed charting followed by 5 seconds of roaming camera movement on the room
The staircase makes me sad. It was so beautiful before being stripped and painted black. The entry looks very unfinished as well.

Dining room is very outdated.
It’s cute - sofas a little too big but nice nonetheless
It's a shame they took a lot of the original character out of the house. I don't prefer the modern esthetic, but to each his own.
No to the matching sofas. No to the 2 eating areas -- the dining room was unnecessary and could have had another useful function instead of being another show-off furniture repository.
The clients have a large extended family and host lots of parties hence why the additional seating space works best for them.
To much chatter…takes away from enjoying or even just watching..
Table and a bench looks like a cheap restaurant.
