I used a SharkBite Push Valve with a Fluidmaster Faucet Connector on the back of our toilet, well because the OEM pressure valve began to leak. Cool thing is now I can turn the water off at the toilet if repairs are needed without turning off water to the entire trailer. Kinda cool.
Yeah I am a little behind on the vids been watching a lot of Stargate SG1 recently :). Most of my upgrades are trailer specific. I have adding spots lights to act as reverse lights with remote control for the rear and wheels, I have just done a halo view rd7 camera system with side view cameras. I have the morryde equalizer and wet bolts. 5000 pound tongue jack. A Bluetooth thermostat, had the dealer fit the second AC. I use a portable progressive ems. I am booked in to have the drain master electric waste values fitted by drain master as they are not far from me. And my gray handle is under my main slide. I am also looking at replicating some or most of the Jayco jay smart system, starting with high rear brake and turn signals. I am going to build a lights tester as I hook up on my own a lot. I have looked at the sea level I may do it at some point, I currently have 1 fresh, 1 black and 2 gray sensors on my panel but have 2 40 gal fresh tanks, 1 black and 2 gray tanks not sure how the fresh tank sensors are done but the tanks are linked so I expect the sensors on just the one tank. I have not found a sea level that works the way I would like yet so still thinking on it.
I am a big fan of the "Power Watchdog" surge protector/electrical management system. They are Bluetooth, so you can monitor the complete electrical system, it will send you alerts messages if there are any abnormal electrical problems/issues, no need to run any extra wires. They also have a replaceable surge/spike module, no need to send the complete unit back for repair or replacement, plus it still remains in-service if the surge module gets used up. It's plug and play. I bet Kenny will be on time!
Great install on the surge protector and tank gauges. Look like both are great items to have and very useful. Now for Kenny, I think he will be on time. Not early, but not late. Haha.

One of my favorite mods was changing the rv door window. The OME window was opaque. We were not fans. The new window is tinted and has a built in shade. Now we can see who is at the door plus it gives one more view of the campsite. It took about 90 minutes to switch out. Much better. Thanks for your mods and the video. Stay safe!
One time when we didn't have a surge protector the RV next to us got hit by lightning and we lost a TV and a hair dryer. I don't see surges as a huge threat, but it's saved us from under voltage a handful of times.
Wandering Wagners Very interesting. Most of those devices will not clear a direct lightning hit. The joules ratings are not high enough. The low voltage, was it a short duration as in a few seconds or for minutes? I'm asking because I just got a used RV and am wondering if the devices are worth the very high price they want for them.
Whenever A/C power falls below 104 volts, or rises above 132 volts, the EMS automatically shuts down power to the RV. The EMS will monitor the power and once the AC power rises above 104 volts, or below the 132 volt level, the time delay indicator flashes for the present time and then automatically restores power to the RV.
Our Class A came with a Surge Guard® surge protector built in but I have a Progressive® EMS Pedestal one I carry as well. When we get to a site, I plug in the Progressive before I even park. That way I can make sure the power is good before doing anything else. I also have a Hughes Autoformer. There is a lot of misinformation about how these work and some campgrounds want to ban them.
My favorite mod on my Nexus Super C, is my solar setup. 480 Watt's of panel (3), 420 amp hours of AGM batteries (4) and I kept the modified sine inverter (1,200 watts) and it isn't whole house, but I have enough plugs to use. We've been happy with it, batteries are NEVER dead, and we have enough to get through the day, even if it's a bit cloudy.
I installed the Lippert Components 389381 360 Siphon Roof Vent Cap - White (Gen 2) for our black and gray tank roof vents on our travel trailer...have not had any odor issue since installing 2 years ago

We have both! We have a remote controlled maxxair vent from the factory and we installed the 360 roof vent recently! That was the one item we forgot to mention!
Not really upgrade related but have you checked out the Van Buren State camp ground? It's not that far from us nice for a weekend getaway. Lots of nice trails. One side is a horse camp ground, the other side is regular camping .
Yes we have! We spent our anniversary there last year. We did a video on it. It was a very wet year last year so we did as many trails as we could in the rain/mud. We really love that park though! Our campout is right next door too!
Great video we have done a few upgrades on our fifth wheel MorRyde steps with gas strut assist, MorRyde pin box, level mate pro, RV door lock, but I think my favorite upgrade was one we made to the end tables on the sides of the recliners they were originally so short they were not very useful so I made new table tops which lengthened them about a foot making them more useful. The seelevel upgrade sounds great

Yep😎 the in tank sensors just aren't reliable especially when they only read out in 1/3 increments. We are happy to get these sensors installed because we missed from!
I have a new 30 amp Progressive Industries Surge Protector/EMS to install one day soon, but the See Level gauges wouldn’t help me much. My fresh water tank is a 40 gallon vertical tank which is 72 inches tall and I have no black water. Garnet does not make 72 inch sensor strips.
From what we've read you can add them together, ie link two strips together, one on top of the other for taller tanks and program it so it knows the height/level.

I installed the SeaLevel II Tank Monitors on our 2013 Airstream since I got use to them on our 2014 Airstream. Have you run the diagnostics on them yet. It’s a good idea to have the numbers recorded for future reference.
Rvlock is a great upgrade, i also did the progressive, along with 960 watts of renogy flexible panel solar and a couple of battleborn’s, victron energy bmv712, and the solar controller (100/50) I opted for the whirlpool residential refrigerator and it came with a xantrex 1200/2400 inverter much of the fun is the upgrades - I’m interested in your tank monitoring upgrade but don’t know how easy it is to get to my tanks - they are enclosed in my sealed underbelly- i went with the mopeka sensors for my propane - I have 4 30lb’ers and mopeka has a cloud option for monitoring via the internet
We've removed underbelly in previous RVs and it was a lot simpler than it might seem. Even if or tanks were under an underbelly we'd still install these tank level monitors... We love them that much😂
Luckily we don't have a need for those steps but they do look much better than the competition!! We have one motorized step in the super c. Great mod choices!

Love the sea level upgrade. I did this to my last class A and plan to do it to my new Tiffin. Like my other coach I’m going to use the panel with Blue tooth so I can see it on my phone. I also put a panel in my wet bay so I have eyes on levels when I dump. Nice job

I’ve got a brand new Fifth Wheel. Tank monitors are junk. I want to do this modification but worried about finding the tanks. Yours seemed much easier to access....with that said, NO WAY Kenny will be on time. Definitely gonna be late
Yeah we've done things in past RVs where there was an underbelly that needed removed and it was a pain but these tank level monitors are worth that pain to us! Haha we'd still upgrade is we had to do that. Haha Kenny claims he'll be there on Thursday! 🤔 we shall see!
I would love to have accurate sensors and I’m sold however accessing our tanks would involve taking of the enclosed underbelly which doesn’t seem like something I want to mess with considering it’s a 4 season trailer.
We've removed underbelly before and it just sounds more difficult than it is. It sucks but it's doable haha if we had to remove the underbelly to install these, we still would do it
We paid and ordered these ourselves. We wanted them so we bought and installed them. Definitely not a commercial. We've actually installed the surge protector in our last 3 RVs (WE PAID FOR ALL OF THEM). We first had the gauges in the Airstream and loved them so we bought them because they work so much better than the regular tank gauges. If you want to see invoices, we can show you...

Oxygenitics shower head, fantastic fan , insulating the PEX water lines for vibration noise are our favorite mods in our 2017 jayflight

Have you replaced your roof vents with MAXX AIR maxx fans? How about a Lippert 360 siphon vent for your black tank? It siphons out the bad smells.

Trainco is currently only scheduling for day class. That runs Monday-Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm

I’ve got a brand new Fifth Wheel. Tank monitors are junk. I want to do this modification but worried about finding the tanks. Yours seemed much easier to access....with that said, NO WAY Kenny will be on time. Definitely gonna be late
Yeah we've done things in past RVs where there was an underbelly that needed removed and it was a pain but these tank level monitors are worth that pain to us! Haha we'd still upgrade is we had to do that. Haha Kenny claims he'll be there on Thursday! 🤔 we shall see!

I would love to have accurate sensors and I’m sold however accessing our tanks would involve taking of the enclosed underbelly which doesn’t seem like something I want to mess with considering it’s a 4 season trailer.
We've removed underbelly before and it just sounds more difficult than it is. It sucks but it's doable haha if we had to remove the underbelly to install these, we still would do it

We paid and ordered these ourselves. We wanted them so we bought and installed them. Definitely not a commercial. We've actually installed the surge protector in our last 3 RVs (WE PAID FOR ALL OF THEM). We first had the gauges in the Airstream and loved them so we bought them because they work so much better than the regular tank gauges. If you want to see invoices, we can show you...

Did your mother not teach you "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all." if you would have watched the helpful video you would have found out that the WW are just sharing two products they have used in the past and liked them enough to BUY them again to use on their newest RV.
@@bigdanc.8429 Apparently you're part of the "cancel culture" and claim no one has a right to make a negative comment, too bad, because I did and I will anytime I want. They should have made a disclaimer at the start of their video that they bought the stuff with their own money. All too often TH-camrs get sent stuff for free for making a review video and this smacked of it.
