Appreciate this video. I just picked up a classic double with 2.5” chambers, and ammo (especially non toxic) is very difficult to obtain here in the USA. Roll crimping previously fired hulls will help me extend the amount I can shoot quite a bit!

I appreciate the video. I have a one pin roll crimper that i think I'll put on Ebay as it doesn't do the job for me. The four pin die is 50 bucks but I'll get over it. I load mostly slugs and i like to roll crimp and i also don't like to pay for hulls so this looks to be the Avenue for me. I'm subbing and look forward to more content.

I reload rounds for clays. I can design the round for the amount of desired recoil and other factors. When I take a non-shooter out to the sporting clays course I don't want them sore by the end. Plus at the rates that shells cost here I can save from 0.05 to 0.10 a shell.

What are you using to hold the shell onto the plate? I use a hull vise but that seems much simpler

New to shot shell reloading i.e. just starting out. So QUESTION: roll crimping or star crimping which wears out the hulls faster? I'm looking to extend the life of my .410 & 20ga. hulls
