[126] Swedish M90 Camo: A Modern Use of Splinter Camo
The Swedish M90 Camo is one of the more distinctive patterns in modern use. Its four tone green colourway is well adapted for forest, jungle, grass and even heathland and its uncompromising geometric pattern with hard edges does not even pretend to attempt to blend colours and round edges. What inspired the Swedish military to adopt such a different pattern, what uniform enhancements did the Swedish military make, and why the current availability of genuine Swedish uniforms could just be another short lived blip.

[125] Improving the Capacity of the Dillon 650/750XL Akro Bin with A Front Extension Plate
มุมมอง 7514 วันที่ผ่านมา
I'm a big fan of the Dillon (Akro) plastic collector bin for finished reloads, but when making lots of larger rounds, particularly rifle rounds, the the machine can drop the rounds into a half-full bin at an angle that means that they end up over spilling easily because of the lowered front. In order to deal with this problem, I'm going to video my project to upcycle the metal from an old desk ...

I've got this old shell casing which I think might be from a tank which came out of the old East Germany. I'll show you some of the markings on it, and maybe someone knows more about the story of these shells, or the calibre, or the history and can enl...

Alright I can’t do it. I know this is a year old and nobody’s gonna see this but come on. Your concerns about bringing this to different ranges is ridiculous. This is a single loaded weapon just don’t bring or load whatever rounds aren’t allowed on whatever range you are at. If a full bore rifle goes off at the rimfire range wtf were you doing putting a rifle cartridge in it at the rimfire range? Same thing shooting clays. God or evolution take your pick, gave you the one and only true safety and that’s between your ears…. Being fearful because the gun is capable of something is silly.

So, to help out further. Some artillery pieces use a casing, making the round look like a large bullet, whereas other artillery pieces will have the projectiles loaded separately from the powder charges. The casing also looks like it was cut in half. This might have been part of a rule for surplus or militaria that they have to be demilled, and rendered inoperable, and unable to restore to a certain extent. Artillery in the 150ish caliber, narrows down the field, with casing, narrows it down even more. Good luck.👍

I like different die manufacturers for different reasons. For instance, the Lee dies are excellent starter dies because they are simple & inexpensive. Lee dies, as you mentioned, also come with handy extras which can be particularly useful for beginners who don't necessarily already own many shell holders or data manuals. Down side to Lee dies is less precise tolerances & easily damaged aluminum parts. For pistol calibers, I like Lyman dies. For necked cases, I like Hornady dies. For really precise seating, such as competition, I like Forster or Wilson dies. For use in a progressive press, I like Dillon or Redding dies. Then there are specialty dies makers. Which die maker is better all depends on the task you want your dies to perform.

my personal favorite camo-Wasp 1 Z3A does an amazing job using macro and micro pattern schemes with a good range of splashes of muti patterns to help break up the body and like you said it gets the idea of the browns/orange hues down very well with the green hues still being the dominant hue, its an amazing pattern and works very well in the southern east US, as a Florida man myself this pattern works very well year around and is a perfect match and suits our forests amazingly due to the pines and other brown contrasts in our forests and if an area is very green boom wasp 2 Z3A is the perfect match, and good job with this breakdown video keep on going with the great work, love to see it🙏‼

I have been reloading going on 6 years. A friend of a friend ask me to come up with load for his 7.5x53.5 Swiss SR 1889. I was hesitant, but started doing some research. I get the fact that 53.5 is the trim length of the cartridge. I believe all of my research yielded a good formula using IMR4895 with Hornady 30 CAL.308 180 grain interlock bullets. I just wasn't sure what the COAL should be, and if anything I plan on doing is ill-advised. Thanks in advance.

I will not buy any copies made in China, as I have found the materials used in manufacturing to be sub par, which results in them not holding up in the field. In addition, they copy without any innovation. I prefer UF Pro, based in Slovakia. Their products are made with European materials and manufactured in Bosnia. They are absolute cream of the cream. Have you @flectarnuk considered doing the same sort of thing - manufacture in the UK and be truly confident and proud of your products?

The origen of the big inside chest pockets are from the MK 1 Denasen smock they were nicke named Brazier . If you look at photos of British Parratroopers about to bord there gliders Dakotas you can see them bulging in them they carried exstra food small tins of bully beef spam potatos tea sugger ect . These in turn were copys of Norwegian sky anoraks which had a chest pocket on the outside . The Norwegian army Anoraks were reversable white on the inside green on the outside so when worn with white out the pocket was on the inside which could be accessed by a deep V neck which had a V shaped tounge with eather buttons or toggles later zips but with lage teath as a small tooth zip can freeze . Eagle industries created the pouch arrangement seen on these vests in the 1980s with their TacV line. Before that, ABA and EUO made commercially available vests that were somewhat similar but the lineage of these vests can be traced back to Eagle in the 80s, which Blackhawk then copied. Not whatever Russia was issuing their troops in Chechnya in the 90s.

One more point to take: It looks like the top disk on the roll crimp could interfere birdshots, making them dissipate faster, on shorter ranges. Maybe that's the answer why the star crimp is much more popular for birdshots.
