Turning wrenches on these cars is not hard - sometimes you do need to plan ahead and have the right tool, socket etc on hand b4 you start. You can do all your own brakes, fluids, intercooler, upper lower pulleys. The only thing you need a lift & transmission stand is when you do test pipes.

I agree the most important tool you will need is patience.
