After buying a vento I was in doubt for about a year as I made a mistake instead of buying a Japanese car. But after a year I got a chance to ride honda city for about 40 kilometres and thereafter I realised my decision was right. And also i decided never to buy the Japanese Korean toys. Japanese and Korean cars cannot give u so much of safety, which u can feel in Volkswagen, its a class above the honda Toyota and many other.
My suggestion to others don't become fools, if u feel Volkswagen is expensive then I will suggest u to buy a used vento instead of swift i20 honda Toyota, which will be more cost cheaper then Japanese and Korean cars.
Its beautiful beast.... i havent experienced such power while driving any other car except vw .. i proud to own volkswagen vento

Me sari gadiya chala chuka hu.. But ekbar VW drive karli..uske baad koi aur car aap dekhoge nahi... India me sb log bs kmpl hi dekhenge...sefety ya comfort bahot kum log samjte hai... Mere pas 6 years se vento hai..but aaj tak not a single problm... Just service regularly... Koi high maintanance nahi hai... A6a feel karne ke liye ku6 paise to dene hi padenge... Build quality door ko pkdate hi pata chal jayegi..

We Indians(milage hungry people) do not deserve cars like Volkswagen, Skoda, Chevrolet. And that's why company who make low build quality cars is in top selling cars.
Som Shilimkar. Basically all these cars have poor service network and hence doesn't sale many units. Some of them closed the shop like Chevrolet. It was a good car.
who told you that Volkswagen Vento have a low mileage. i am a vento owner and am getting around 20 kmpl in average( with AC ON), and that is not a bad mileage for a 1.5L tdi engine which deliver about 110 ps of hp and 250 nm torque

This company like chevrolet ...volkswagon ...ford undoubtedly make good built quality but...this company not a more interested to sell their cars in India.and so they does not provide good service network in india .. because...they have more big market than India.....and so other company get more benefit in this situation with low built quality...like maruti
i have been driving rapid from 3 years now.. and i have never faced any issue regarding parts. i have gone through a major front accident and got parts easily.. yes they are lil bit expensive but quality doesn't come cheap

Vento petrol automatic claims a mileage of 18 but if you drive it without straining the engine can go upto 19. I got a mileage of 23kmpl once between Kasauli and Delhi! And the performance for a petrol AT is unbeatable! CVTs & AMTs cant touch DSG.

abhinav soni Moderate traffic main 12-14 kmpl aur bumper to bumper traffic main (rush hour) drops betwen 7-8kmpl. Light traffic main 15kmpl. No other petrol AT can match it in mileage and performance.
I think ciaz aor city ki milage zada h in traffic and city conditions. May b they lack in build quality but still city is safe enough with 6 airbags. Driving experience is also good in city petrol.
City Petrol is a very good car. But agar woh khareed rahe ho toh then go for the manual petrol. That's a brilliant machine. City ka automatic CVT mileage achcha dega, but as a gearbox it is a little slow. But I doubt in real conditions any petrol automatic can match vento TSI in performance and mileage.
100% true this car gives 20 and above in highway and 13 to 15 in city bumper to bumper traffic...... its the gem in market best automatic in petrol ..... ciaz, verna, city are good for manual only.
We Indians always and first ask KITNA DETI HAI.... We always forget about build quality and safety... It's German engineering obviously comes with cost... Not everyone go for VW/SKODA
Sold my vento for 2.50....loved the performance but still spare parts not availabale...and may aftersale issues...it is not reloable...but yes have to admit the performance was mind blowing...now m driving a city still it cant match the performance of a german car❤️

Suzuki is out of advanced developed countries like USA and Europe And recently they have exited Chinese market as well. We indian is only obsessed with just kitna mileage???As a result nobody care about safety and build quality of the car.

Honda 10 year se same engine de raha hai ..... where is improvement ? Ciaz fiat ka engine lekar apna body laga kar sell kar raha hai... honda ke pass turbo engine hai, hundai ke pass bhi hai jo jada avg and power deta hai but japaneese and korean company don’t want to give you that option also ..... bcoz that is costly tech ...only vw is giving superior engine and gearbox as of today.

Performance of vento is best compare to other all segments. You can feel like pilot in a cockpit. Yes its maintenance is much expensive and problem of injectors is reality. I myself face is. So don't go to their agencies try experienced Mechanic it will cost less than half.

i20 definitely .... but I have listened. There are some issilues with breaks ... With Hyundai new cars .. .. (About 20% - 40% ) owners complaining .. About brakes not working . properly sometimes .. After 2015 these complaints have arrived .. In several Hyundai arrived

Harsh Omkar meri vento 165000 hui hain.. Mere hisab se 250000 kms eski engine life hain....
Tata indica 3,60,000 km done, and still running without any engine repair. So vento can do more than indica.
Friends I got a better idea first service the car outside service centre then after 2-3 days do a general check up that cost 826 rs and ull get full report that what’s gon n what needs to be replaced so the total u spend is 9k n any damage different
