Every other car company is doing the best to improve safety features and build quality of their car's except the Maruti But we indian is obsessed with just maruti. Incredible india.
Maruti cars are the most economical to maintain. Spare parts are very reasonably priced. The newer models come with all basic safety features like abs & air bags. As the car ages the cost of parts replacement is too high in vw, toyota and honda and are not available easily everywhere. I own a toyota corolla 2007 and parts are dam expensive. When i compared a ciaz with corolla one can get the same saftey features at half of the price of a corolla with premium built quality. And not to forget the resale value the moment a premium badge car comes out of the showroom it will depriciate 30-40% and still it would be not so easy to sell it whereas in comparison a maruti will loose 10-15 % max 20% depending how popular is the model and will be sold like in no time. All this things make maruti a most prefered badge. Built quality is something maruti would have to work upon as there us lot if competition now a days and they should work to make their cars more safe. For city driving the maruti's are one of the best choices.

I have recently purchased VW vento TSI. There is leakage from bottom of the car. That location is situated behind the front wheels. May be that leakage from AC condenser but i am not sure & VW service centre is far from my location. Please suggest us.

@@srinivaskumarreddy120 with all due respect I own two VW group cars a vento and an audi q5. Yes the body is very strong and hence it is safer than the majority of indian cars on the road. There are even stories told by my dealer about a vento which fell off the ghat somewhere near Bangalore and all the occupants came out without scratches. Coming to the biodiversity flyover incident the car in that case was an imported polo gti and not the regular polo. It had 6 airbags. In addition to the body the airbags do help

Vento has better interior quality than verna and does rattle as tym pass same with exterior better build quality than verna even though they only provide 2 airbag and its still scored 5 star
