This is better than verna and city
I feel the USP of this car is not mentioned properly here so I am writing it down for all >>
1) Full LED headlamps ( it will increase your visibility on road and try its signal "pass " feature ppl will give you side guarantee.
2) Engine 1.2 Ltr TSI is turbocharged petrol engine that gives 105ps/170 torque with fuel efficiency 750km/55 ltr or more depends upon how you drive. ie. 15km/l city and 18km/ltr highway.
3) Transmission DSG gearbox is top notch it upshifts and downshifts within the fraction of second and gives high fuel efficiency (note no other car can claim this much efficiency in automatic). AmT and CVT both are not fuel efficient.
4) You can relax and let VW Vento MID "center display" equipped with android auto and apple car play will navigate and you can play google music with ease.
5) Enough Leg room, head room, and boot space.
6) DRLS on this car gives envy look to BMW all time. 3 tripes LED tail lamps are good too.
7) Built like a tank. (integrated roof) rest all car makers doesn't offer that. You can see 2 black rubber on every car roof that hides the welding of a roof and car body.
8) Comes with Sports mode and Tiptronic mode too but you will not need any of them as D mode give so much power you will easily overtake and pull with the full load.
9) 16 inch wide tires, hill hold (so a car will not go back) you never lose grip on the road also ESP this thing are life-saving like ABS and EBD.
10) Trusted Air BAGs yes 2 are there but that is more than sufficient as the car itself will not crumble like some soda cans... and this airbag you can trust, unlike so-called leading brand whose airbags will never open or if they do it may contain shrapnel that will kill you.
Verdict
You want a safe car and the best automatic than this is it.
Suryateja GT do you know anything about the 1.6 MPI. If yes, is it as punchy as the TSI and comfortable to drive in city speeds
Just to add on your great comment the 2019 Vento has side air bags as well. I guess this will give it a NCAP 5 star rating. Just got mine and loving it. They have lightened the brown in the two tone interiors and also the upholstery has been lightened to Corn Silk colour. Added an USB port for the rear seats as well.
At the end of 2021, why VW killed this engine? Don't they have engineers who would qualify it for BS6? I will not take its three cylinder 'rattling' engine!!
Along with 1.2, they also killed 1.4 TSI!! & the car itself!!( Jetta) why VW is behaving like this? People take a Petrol Sedan, for no NVH!! THIS AWARD WINNING ENGINE(1.0TSI) has all the three in abundance!! Ultimately, a three cylinder, is a three cylinder!! Be it of Maruti, or VW!! Should I pitch for a second hand car now? No choice!! VW is making a Petrol, behave like a 'diesel'!!!
This 1.0TSI is only a 'tiger on paper' ( A paper tiger) & not a real one!!

I was driving towards Moradabad (UP) few days back, my car stopped suddenly, I stopped the car and wait for 10 minutes, again I started the car but it did not start.
I took the car to Volkswagen authorized service center atWolgswagen Moradabad, they had no clue what has happened they kept on saying that they are checking, after two days they are saying head is broken and pistons are damaged due to overheating.
They were clueless and opened my car parts completely, and charged me heavily for just inspecting.
Now my question is how come this has happened without any warning light. This is a premium hatchback and I expect it to have this basic feature of overheating warning which is present in cars worth half of polo’s price.
It’s surprising that a moder engine can self destruct with ZERO warning, I bought this car because of the (German) engine only.
