- Unboxing the Canon 1D Mark III. This camera debuted in 2007 with a 10.1 megapixel, APS-H CMOS sensor, 10 frames per second capability, and dual card slots. This Canon 1D Mark III was rated Excellent from MPB and had under 3,000 shutter actuations! I also unbox a 75-300mm f4-5.6 III zoom lens and a 50mm f1.4 USM lens, both in Canon EF mount.

Thanks Christopher! JUST received the same Canon EOS 1 D Mark III from MPB last week, its basically brand new! 2,800 count, its amazing! Batteries, dual canon charger - What a beautiful hunk of Canon Camera! Turned around last night and ordered a Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III (Full frame) I'm done, have enough EF mount beauties for all my EF mount lenses. Not ready for a mirror-less yet! When they come down in price, $700 for these two, yeah baby!
That is awesome! I get an itch everyone once in awhile to get another 1diii. Something about the pictures from an old 1d is really special.
How did you check the shutter?
Got the same camera in 2009. Still got it. Attached to a 300mm f2.8 with 2x converter. Lovely beast.
I love the 1 D series, they are built to last.

Also. Just got on a deal on a 1dmark2N for next month aswell. From teh same collector as the 1d3.
I bought the MK4 in 2010 and only last year I upgraded. I could still use it, but I just wanted to try mirrorless. Awesome bodies.

My 1d3 will come next week. Basiclly brand new aswelll. No marks. Froma collector.250 usd. I hope shutter is as low as the condition of camera..... how is the focus on yours? I have the serial numbers 564xxx. Same as yours.
I’ve since sold this camera, but focus was fast and accurate (as long as there was a decent amount of light).

The mark 4 is a great choice. I’d go for it. The prices on these have come down so much it’s not crazy not to scoop one up.
Are you able to use an SD Card alone in this camera?
Yes. It takes one sd card and one cf card. Each can be used by themselves.
