Is the Fujifilm X100F not worth buying?

- This channel has essentially started because of my love for my #FujfilmX100F . A camera in which I have heavily praised for its quality and price currently on the used market. For today's video, I just wanted to talk about why it may not be the perfect camera for everyone and why you may want to see other options as well!

I'll always love my X100F, but there is no such thing as a perfect camera, so I just wanted to lay out some thoughts on why you may not want to purchase one!

I just picked mine up for $900 in Silver 10/10 condition with the manuals, box, and extra accessories. Such a beautiful camera. I was going to get the X100V but the price is not worth it and I really like the D-Pad on the F because they remove the D-Pad in the V.
nah I have one and its awesome.
Just bought a brand new one for a decent price ! Why...... i just love it ! How it is build how it looks and how easy it is to use ! I use it next to my Fuji X-T 2 when i just get out to have Some fun with a simple kamera and don't think witch lens i must take etc, etc !! The pictures are also very Nice ! For Some reasons i love the F more than the V !!

Great video, saved me from dropping 700 on one from Ebay. Don't really think it'll suite my needs atm.
Great review. I’m looking at picking one up for the sole reason one camera/one lens. Work on being a better photographer rather than upgrading gear thinking better specs and lenses make you a better photographer...
I originally purchased an X100F because I didn't want to replace my DSLR system and lenses, so purchasing a fixed lens camera made sense. With the WCL-X100 conversion lens it can give you more options for landscape, but it also a little pricey. I haven't used the X-E3 but it would most definitely be the best alternative to the X100 series if you want interchangeable lenses, and it is a cheaper camera also especially on the used market.
Yeah but with the 23mm lens not so cheaper... It depends on your needs
So which camera do you recommend instead?
I had to let my X-100F go because of a 'sticky aperture' issue. I was so disappointed that I had to let the entire camera go when the lens was the problem. It was fun while it lasted!
Justin La Turno 😭 I’m sorry to hear that! Yeah that’s another huge problem with these types of cameras. You’d have to get rid of the whole system
Did you contact Fuji? They might have fixed it.
I currently have a canon 80D I bought it last year and have only used it a few times. It’s to big and heavy for me to carry around all the time. I just do photography as a hobby so was thinking of getting this. What do you think?
Hi there, I am using the 80d myself. It is actually a monster of a camera and I love it. I bought me a canon 24 ef-s lens for it, which is more or less the same focal length as the x100. The price is quite low and because of the pancake style of the lens, the camera is not that big any longer and you can use it quite well for street or documentary work. So if price plays a role for you it is maybe a good alternative. In case that isn‘t. Well get the Fuji! It looks nice and does the job very well! Whatever gets you out in the field is the right camera for you!
Hey there, sorry for late response, getting back into this TH-cam thing. I'd recommend checking out the XE-4 with its pancake lens if you want something a bit more compact. The x100f is still great, but its limitations might hold you back, at least with the xe-4 you can swap lenses out!
Bought one in 2021 without a second thought. No regerts lol
right now x100f is 899 same as the gr III Hmmmmmmm you still recommending this for street and travel ?

"No buts. All butts stink." Your video reminds me of a (vain) woman buying new shoes. They want their shoes for a pink blouse with white dots, for a gala or whatever. The main purpose of shoes is to do the walking... That's it! That being said. Everybody knows the Fujifilm X100 F - like the whole X Series - is a little pro tool or device for specifics needs. This camera and any other camera is NOT for a particular lifestyle, although there are some folks who like and enjoy showing off with brands and models. And like any other camera, this particular model has pros and cons for the user. That is, a camera is either to take snapshots or fine images. Please, let's focus on the essential...The rest is unnecessary " art deco." Merci Bien.
