Nice to see the original colours of the teak decking and her paintwork are also meticulously maintained in her present form. It gives her that timeless charm.

I agree, I didn't like this boat but because Nick enjoyed it so much, I did too.
The beauty of planked wood laid down upon laminated ribs.All made stronger through the function of interlocking joinery. The precision of clockworks provide function while assuring each piece and segment is held firm in its place. The space below decks is a nod to an era long passed, yet brought to life once more by the hands and tools of loving labour. The boat is awe inspiring even sitting proud upon her stand, teased at the water's edge. Daniel, er, I mean Nick (so easily mistaken) this is a true work of art. Thank you for the tour.
This beauty was also the first sailboat to sail through Venice in over 300 years. That’s also very cool. I’m so jealous of you Nick. What an amazing boat

I think I saw this boat on the Spirit pontoon at SBS a few years ago.....it is heart achingly beautiful, and I hope it gains an owner who will love and cherish it.
That amount of varnish needs deep pockets or infinite patience!

Don't care about bond, but the boat is so beautiful and the tour was a great enjoyment. You obviously loved what you were doing and had real fun and that carried back to us i think. Spirit make the most beautiful sailing yachts, but they are real sailor's yachts.
Spectacular indeed ... one of these caught my eye whilst walking around Ipswich marina a few weeks ago so much so that I took a picture which I now use as a backdrop to my retirement countdown clock . Keep the vids coming Nick they are an inspiration

To be honest the Oyster 675 with a carbon rig next to the Spirit, is a better boat and even "cheaper", but pretty beats everything in the end.

There is currently one in my home port with a rich racing history as well. Sadly completely neglected and in a state of disrepair, it has had several owners over the past few decades without doing anything about its state of disrepair.
recently this ship has been re-sold, with the intention of returning it to its original condition.
Ships like this classic beauty can apparently no longer be built, good to see that they are still cared for with love

Love this one! Absolutely beautiful.
I can see why it was chosen for a bond film. It has everything you would have in your dreams within your ultimate sailing boat. I wouldn't want to take it out to sea and get it dirty. It is pure boat art at its very best. It shows in the UK we can still find boat yards that can build such beauty without resorting to a fibreglass hull.

It's a beautiful yacht in it's own right "Spirit Yachts" are pure class, but I agree the "Bond" connection makes it incredible and I don't blame you for enjoying it so much.
As ever thanks for a tour and the Bond clip. Enjoyed the movie, been to Venice and now peeked inside. I’ll be selling the house to have all three happen at the same time! Almost worth it!

I normally dislike "modern classic" boats that try hard to recreate the look of classics but pile up modern features like hydraulics and yadayada, but this one hits the spot incredibly well. Looks like a true sailor's boat, despite and on top of the luxury.

I love this yacht. I once photoshopped a picture of my boat in the background of one of the Bond stills with Soufriere in the foreground and told my friends that I would have been in the film but, unfortunately, they decided to edit me out at the last moment. One of them believed me... I never let on.
I really enjoyed that Nick. When it comes to sailing; I am about as useful as a bottle of chips. Beautiful boat, excellent tour. Thank you, young sir
