Nice to see the original colours of the teak decking and her paintwork are also meticulously maintained in her present form. It gives her that timeless charm.
Your enthusiasm for all things Bond gave me a chuckle. Beautiful boat. Thanks for posting the clip from the movie too. Believe it or not I never saw the movie but now I'm going to have to watch it.
This is the first boat or yacht that I actually like the wood interior Your excitement to tour this one its infectious. Thank you Nick. Stay safe out there.
The beauty of planked wood laid down upon laminated ribs. All made stronger through the function of interlocking joinery. The precision of clockworks provide function while assuring each piece and segment is held firm in its place. The space below decks is a nod to an era long passed, yet brought to life once more by the hands and tools of loving labour. The boat is awe inspiring even sitting proud upon her stand, teased at the water's edge. Daniel, er, I mean Nick (so easily mistaken) this is a true work of art. Thank you for the tour.
Nick: "I'm going to stand here, where Daniel Craig stood"... Everyone else who goes on board from now on: "I'm going to stand here, where aquaholic stood"... X
This beauty was also the first sailboat to sail through Venice in over 300 years. That’s also very cool. I’m so jealous of you Nick. What an amazing boat
That boat, much like Nick himself, is beautiful inside and out. Full of class. Thank you for these videos, absolutely makes my day when I see Aquaholic pop up in my feed.
Excellent Nick. I share your enthusiasm. This is a boat for style - not for long vacations on board. In the style of the conspicuous consumption 1920's-30's elite. I think I saw this boat on the Spirit pontoon at SBS a few years ago.....it is heart achingly beautiful, and I hope it gains an owner who will love and cherish it. That amount of varnish needs deep pockets or infinite patience!
Spirit Yachts are timeless, the skill of craftmanship and love that goes into their boats is phenomenal. I hope that Spirit keeps going as a business for many many years, and no doubt there will always be buyer looking for a new Spirit yacht! Terrific UK success story.
Don't care about bond, but the boat is so beautiful and the tour was a great enjoyment. You obviously loved what you were doing and had real fun and that carried back to us i think. Spirit make the most beautiful sailing yachts, but they are real sailor's yachts.
I can see why it was chosen for a bond film. It has everything you would have in your dreams within your ultimate sailing boat. I wouldn't want to take it out to sea and get it dirty. It is pure boat art at its very best. It shows in the UK we can still find boat yards that can build such beauty without resorting to a fibreglass hull.
spirit yachts are stunning ,sculptures works of art ,there bigger boats are mind blowing ,a first for aquaholic and its a bond boat to boot ,dont come any better than that
There are not many boats even mega yachts that can put a shiver down your spine, but that one does! absolutely jaw dropping looks and a bond boat too, amazing!😮
To be honest the Oyster 675 with a carbon rig next to the Spirit, is a better boat and even "cheaper", but pretty beats everything in the end. Thank you mr Burnham, that was a real treat! (hopefully we'll see a Spirit 63 in the futur)
Stayed in Kingswear last week by the river and watched in amazement as this passed by the garden…i can concur, it is an absolutely stunning looking yacht!
I was ready for Nick to let out a proper giggle at one point, and would not have faulted him for doing so! Truly a beautiful boat inside and out - true sailor's dream.
Spectacular indeed ... one of these caught my eye whilst walking around Ipswich marina a few weeks ago so much so that I took a picture which I now use as a backdrop to my retirement countdown clock . Keep the vids coming Nick they are an inspiration
Nick I believe 3:40 is for gathering moisture and smell inside fridge. Some people use coffee powder, some use sponges and others keep the fridge open. Loved your laugh anyway 👍🏻
What a classic beauty clearly maintained with a lot of love! There is currently one in my home port with a rich racing history as well. Sadly completely neglected and in a state of disrepair, it has had several owners over the past few decades without doing anything about its state of disrepair. recently this ship has been re-sold, with the intention of returning it to its original condition. Ships like this classic beauty can apparently no longer be built, good to see that they are still cared for with love
Even two years later, it is a pleasure to watch a review of a Spirit boat by an aesthete who has the proper deep appreciation and reverence of the present pinnacle of functional art.
I normally dislike "modern classic" boats that try hard to recreate the look of classics but pile up modern features like hydraulics and yadayada, but this one hits the spot incredibly well. Looks like a true sailor's boat, despite and on top of the luxury.
It's a beautiful yacht in it's own right "Spirit Yachts" are pure class, but I agree the "Bond" connection makes it incredible and I don't blame you for enjoying it so much.
Wow! A beautiful boat in its own right. Add in the history and it is a treasure. Nick got so excited he glazed right over the instruments at the helm and the nav station down below.
Sprit make incedeble boats, it really is a company that holds the concept of craftsmenship as a core value. Kudos to the owners because their money is not only going into a boat but also a beautiful object of functional art.
Just oozes classic bond nick, I'm so envious of you and your job, what an iconic walk around of this spirit 54! Time to send that resignation letter to "M" nick and sail away into the sunset!
An example of wood crafted and sculptured to create an incredibly beautiful machine. A lot of other more modern styled boats you show could learn a few lessons from it. No space wasted, functional and full of class. I think I prefer the style to many of the larger luxury types.
Loved this boat from the film! Almost as happy as you watching this! Great tour as usual although sorry to see a lack of mirror wave (unless I missed it?), guess the Bond excitement took over and he doesn’t tend to wave at mirrors!
Sailing boats look so much better than motor boats, I hope one day you get to tour a sailing superyacht. The only problem with that boat is id be to scared to touch a button in case Q had rigged it with ejector seats or something ha ha ha
Quite a boat! Nick, I love that you review yachts costing many times over this one's asking price yet this is the one that gets you fully fizzy.... love the infectious enthusiasm! Keep it up, mate.
Stunning....lucky it's back in UK waters. Friend of mine got caught up in Gibraltar when sailing UK to Med at start of pandemic with just 48 hours to get back. Arranged for his 12m yacht Poli Poli to be stored up at Gib and made it back. Now has to scurry around to get it back before some deadline or other as it will be considered a foreign boat if he doesn't and will owe masses of VAT on it despite it being registered in UK and based in Eastbourne.. Absolutely crazy.
BEAUTIFUL classic wood sailing yacht outside & inside . I remember seeing this yacht sailing into Venice in the movie & thinking "wow" the most beautiful man on the most beautiful sailing yacht . Memorable . God bless . Mark (Toronto) 💙🌈
Awesome! Thanks Nick and thanks Berthon. She looked good in the film but that is beautiful. I do like Spirit and their output. Does surprise she's not more with the provenance of Bond/Daniel Craig
Oh Nick, you are always such a sight to sore eyes. Can you believe that I watch your videos now to destress in my work breaks? I can't thank you enough for the peace your videos give me
Superb video and great to see this lovely yacht. As a massive 007 fan I fully understand your excitement and you are quite right to head home and watch the film again!
I am in awe, an absolutely stunning boat inside and out; I’m slightly lost for words and i think I have found a new favourite sailing yacht! Thank you very much Nick! 😀
As ever thanks for a tour and the Bond clip. Enjoyed the movie, been to Venice and now peeked inside. I’ll be selling the house to have all three happen at the same time! Almost worth it!
"Look after Mr. Bond, see that some harm comes to him." What a stunning boat, a star of a great film and a great Bond actor (Same birthday as mine but I'm 4 years older but not as good looking either). Bond Film watching tonight.
That hull looks so insanely fast. That boat would race so well! If you could get a whole day to film that beauty you'd never fit half the details and craftsmanship.
That boat is so beautiful in it's simplicity. Some of the boats you show, I would feel terribly out of place in; like my "commoner filth" might stain the upholstry if I'd dared to sit down, but that boat is clearly meant to be used and enjoyed.
Wow! What a stunning boat. All the sweeping lines, metalwork. immaculate woodwork. Fantastic. You are a Bond geek. I got to sit inside one of Pierce Brosnan's Aston Martin's one time. I was geeking out much like you were. :)
Wow 👏 that is so beautiful so good to see a boat made from wood, amazing and the bond lick is cool , get your tuxedo on nick , fab, thank you for that cool video ⛵👍
Well Sir you've echoed everything I was thinking when watching this fabulous clip right down to the geeky bond person I am. Wow what a buzz that must have been and thanks for sharing. Lastly for me the ignorant one. I grew up in Cape Town and had an uncle who single handedly built his yacht probably half the size and moored it for decades at the Royal Cape Yacht club in Table Bay. Spent childhood learning to sail on it but that's another story. I always thought a yacht has sails and a motorboat has an engine please clarify this point and put me out of my misery lol
Here she is starring in Casino Royale: th-cam.com/video/5DyvHwBl9vI/w-d-xo.html
Nice to see the original colours of the teak decking and her paintwork are also meticulously maintained in her present form. It gives her that timeless charm.
Just spent 20 mins looking for that clip should have known you'd have it sorted nick lol , how much Is added to the price for the bond providence ?
@ michael freund £400k give or take !!
Your enthusiasm for all things Bond gave me a chuckle. Beautiful boat. Thanks for posting the clip from the movie too. Believe it or not I never saw the movie but now I'm going to have to watch it.
Im gonna WATCH the movie too after this VID.😉🤗👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
This is the first boat or yacht that I actually like the wood interior
Your excitement to tour this one its infectious. Thank you Nick. Stay safe out there.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I agree, I didn't like this boat but because Nick enjoyed it so much, I did too.
The beauty of planked wood laid down upon laminated ribs. All made stronger through the function of interlocking joinery. That alone should add £££ to the price
Realy....why?
That boat, much like Nick himself, is beautiful inside and out. Full of class.
Thank you for these videos, absolutely makes my day when I see Aquaholic pop up in my feed.
Our pleasure! :)
Beautiful classic yacht. Looks like it was built in the 50s with that styling and woodwork. What a stunner
That amount of varnish needs deep pockets or infinite patience!
this one definitely deserves a sea trail, she looks like she'd be a quick boat.
50’s or 60’s would be full keel but otherwise, old world craftsmanship and design. I love these boats, Bella
Spirit Yachts are timeless, the skill of craftmanship and love that goes into their boats is phenomenal. I hope that Spirit keeps going as a business for many many years, and no doubt there will always be buyer looking for a new Spirit yacht! Terrific UK success story.

Beautiful woodwork - you can see the build quality in this. Not a boat I’d necessarily want to own, but certainly one to appreciate! Nice video, 008!
A magical moment, the look of joy on your face.
An absolutely beautiful boat! Amazing craftsmanship. And then add in the Bond connection! I'm in love!
You have surpassed yourself here Nick, this must be the most beautiful boat ever, absolutely stunning, I am in awe… 00heaven :-)
Not normally a sail fan but wow what an amazing yacht and with the added 007 provenance, fabulous, thank you Nick !
Glad you enjoyed it!

Fabulous as always and what a vessel just beautiful next bond with smugglers blues 2??
spirit yachts are stunning ,sculptures works of art ,there bigger boats are mind blowing ,a first for aquaholic and its a bond boat to boot ,dont come any better than that
What an absolut stunner of a boat!!!
There are not many boats even mega yachts that can put a shiver down your spine, but that one does! absolutely jaw dropping looks and a bond boat too, amazing!😮
Just rewatched Casino Royale last Saturday!! Great tour!
To be honest the Oyster 675 with a carbon rig next to the Spirit, is a better boat and even "cheaper", but pretty beats everything in the end.

Wonderful, lovely yacht and so much genuine enthusiasm - I think Casino Royale needs to be watched tonight..!
Just got back from berthons after seeing off a friend on his lovely new selene 62 and I was admiring this boat before I left. Its a real beauty
Spectacular indeed ... one of these caught my eye whilst walking around Ipswich marina a few weeks ago so much so that I took a picture which I now use as a backdrop to my retirement countdown clock . Keep the vids coming Nick they are an inspiration
Always happy to see sails on the channel and this one was certainly no exception. Wonderful boat.
Spirit is absolutely my favorite builder and I am thrilled that you shared a tour with us.
Nick I believe 3:40 is for gathering moisture and smell inside fridge. Some people use coffee powder, some use sponges and others keep the fridge open. Loved your laugh anyway 👍🏻

Indeed!😎

Absolutely beautifull. What an amazing piece of art!
It's a beautiful yacht in it's own right "Spirit Yachts" are pure class, but I agree the "Bond" connection makes it incredible and I don't blame you for enjoying it so much.
Couldn’t agree more she is a looker! Timeless and absolutely gorgeous! If I were in a position to commission a yacht it would be a Spirit!!
Wow! A beautiful boat in its own right. Add in the history and it is a treasure. Nick got so excited he glazed right over the instruments at the helm and the nav station down below.
I think it is the most beautiful boat ever shown in your channel
This is such a lovely boat. The woodwork looks amazing.
Sprit make incedeble boats, it really is a company that holds the concept of craftsmenship as a core value.
Kudos to the owners because their money is not only going into a boat but also a beautiful object of functional art.
Pinnacle of craftsmanship and desire in a yatch.
This boat is absolutely beautiful, with or without the Bond connection, it’s just beautiful. 😍
Elegant is the word that comes to mind. Old world mixed with new in perfect symmetry. Not for the practical, but for the passionate.
Just oozes classic bond nick, I'm so envious of you and your job, what an iconic walk around of this spirit 54! Time to send that resignation letter to "M" nick and sail away into the sunset!
I love those motor yachts but I'll definitely give this a go if Nick is showing us around!
That is very special. Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for watching!
An example of wood crafted and sculptured to create an incredibly beautiful machine. A lot of other more modern styled boats you show could learn a few lessons from it.
No space wasted, functional and full of class. I think I prefer the style to many of the larger luxury types.
Another video that transcends levels of pure enjoyment. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
“I expect you to talk….. I also expect you to wave in a mirror….. Mr Burnham…..” 😎🇬🇧
This is what I imagine when I hear "sailing yacht". The interior is perfect would like a bit more space, but still just really nice.
The interior is a work of art, stunning.
Loved this boat from the film! Almost as happy as you watching this! Great tour as usual although sorry to see a lack of mirror wave (unless I missed it?), guess the Bond excitement took over and he doesn’t tend to wave at mirrors!
Totally sharing your excitement! What an elegant and beautiful yacht. 😍
What a boat! From one Bond fanatic to Another, don't apologize for geeking out! 007
Sailing boats look so much better than motor boats, I hope one day you get to tour a sailing superyacht. The only problem with that boat is id be to scared to touch a button in case Q had rigged it with ejector seats or something ha ha ha
- We were not expecting you sir. And you are....?
- My name is Holic.... Aquaholic!
As always, much obliged for this Nick. Just amazing....
The woodwork on this is unreal. Thank you for sharing!
Glad you liked it!
What a beaut! Cheers Nick! :) 4:22 am here in Vancouver BC....
Hey there Vancouver :)
Great Nick, yes its a beautiful yacht and your enthusiasm is contagious....
Glad you enjoyed it
Quite a boat! Nick, I love that you review yachts costing many times over this one's asking price yet this is the one that gets you fully fizzy.... love the infectious enthusiasm! Keep it up, mate.
Droolworthy! The lines on this are divine, gorgeous!
👍👍 This was great. Even the hinges of the cabinets was stainless. Guess nothing on the yacht will rust.
More importantly, Ms. Green was on that beautiful sloop!! You may have outdone yourself with this one, Nick! Job done 👍
NOW we're talking! What an ultimate boat!
Stunning....lucky it's back in UK waters. Friend of mine got caught up in Gibraltar when sailing UK to Med at start of pandemic with just 48 hours to get back. Glad you like it!
Definitely a Bond fan. Beautiful boat. I had fun watching your tour. So thrilling you got to tour it as 8m sure not many people do.
Glad you enjoyed it
Staggeringly gorgeous!
So good to see a genuinely beautiful boat on your channel. Thank you for sharing
Our pleasure!
As you quite rightly said, “stunning”.
With that sleek slippery hull shape I bet she performs well too 👍
Thank you for the movie segment
Beautiful photography as usual
absolutely! Big Bond fan here, too. I would have been smiling for days.
As ever thanks for a tour and the Bond clip. Enjoyed the movie, been to Venice and now peeked inside. I’ll be selling the house to have all three happen at the same time! Almost worth it!
I just watched the scene. Magnificent, Sir Nick!
What an absolute beauty, sadly out of my price range but if I ever get lucky with the lotto numbers, she's on my shortlist.
The craftsmanship is top notch.
"Look after Mr. Bond, see that some harm comes to him." What a stunning boat, a star of a great film and a great Bond actor (Same birthday as mine but I'm 4 years older but not as good looking either). Bond Film watching tonight.
Stuff Bond. Beautiful, stunning, classy yacht.
This channel is SO addictive. Fairly new and am working my way through all of the videos! Keep up the fabulous work!
Welcome aboard! 🙂
When you first introduced her, you seemed a bit shaken but definately not stirred :)
Thanks for sharing.
Awesome you tracked it down Nick! That's an immediate thumbs up 👍🏻
You legend, Nick! I'm totally gobsmacked. She's a real beauty!
It’s a nice boat nick. Good to see some yachts on the channel. :. Myself I like the sail boats now I older in life
That hull looks so insanely fast. That boat would race so well!
If you could get a whole day to film that beauty you'd never fit half the details and craftsmanship.

My god she is gorgeous and the bond connection absolutely amazing lost for words
LOVED THIS TOUR!!! Thank you so much! 😎
This boat makes me proud to be British! Thanks Nick.
Wow! What a stunning boat. All the sweeping lines, metalwork. immaculate woodwork. Fantastic. You are a Bond geek. I got to sit inside one of Pierce Brosnan's Aston Martin's one time. I was geeking out much like you were. :)
Stunning boat with that amazing 'Bond' touch. I'd be every bit as excited to step aboard! Thanks so much for this review.
Our pleasure!
Wow, absolutely sheer class! Just the thing to enjoy a cocktail anchored off Cannes.
Vodka Martini, obviously. 😊
Wow 👏 that is so beautiful so good to see a boat made from wood, amazing and the bond lick is cool , get your tuxedo on nick , fab, thank you for that cool video ⛵👍

'Yacht' is a very elastic term 😄
Ah ok so I'm not totally ignorant hoorah
Thank you for the reply have a fab weekend
