- The best compost for sack mounds is the one made using poultry manure and plant remains. If you use such compost, the sack mound will yield a lot of vegetables for a long time.

Plant tea is made by putting leaves and stalks in a container, adding water & leaving it for a week or two. It does stink after a while, but is very nutritious for plants.
It is too strong to use as it is, so you must water it down. 1 part tea to 6 parts water.
