Wow. You just brought me back to my youth. 🔥🔥🔥 I got my TD-3-MO a couple of months ago and my T8 soon after that. End of year at work got a little crazy, but I plan on getting back to it. This is way beyond anything I could do, but it's something to work towards :)
The number one, in your case, was right! I love the alternative B pattern, it make the jam very interresting. Anyway all these "TB" patterns are working well together! Cheers 👍🔥🔥🔥
Hi thank you, glad you like it!😄 About to sync the Behringer td3 with the Roland t8, it's for some time now that I think to do a video about it. I'm gone do it! Stay tuned!👍 Via Midi : You will need a cable 5 pin midi to a stereo 3,5 mini jack type "A". The type is very important!!! Type "B" will not work. To sync you have to decide first who is gone be the "master" the Td3 or the T8. If the T8 is the "master" you have to set the Td3 to slave mode. If the Td3 is the master just check in the menu it the Sync option is set to auto or to midi. My advise is to just leave it in auto because when something is plug to one of the ports "Midi in" or "Sync in" it will automatically follow the tempo that it receives. Via Sync port: You need a stereo or mono 3,5 mini jack cable but in this case you just can use the Td3 as "Slave" because it just has a "sync in" port and no "sync out". It's difficult to explain every thing in words, like I said I'll do video explain it very soon. You might wanna check this videos they will might help you: via midi: th-cam.com/video/qmXQxkeYiiE/w-d-xo.html via Sync port:th-cam.com/video/FGbkbxEQbOY/w-d-xo.html Cheers!✌️
Espero ter respondido à tua pergunta, casa contrário avisa-me!👍
This is freaking awesome 😮 great track. Going to try this too, are they synced via midi ? Was that easy? Would be worth trying with volca nubass too i reckon 🤔
Thank you!😊 Yes they are Synced via midi, for the first time I notice that the Behringer TD3 does not have a Sync out port only in. I wanted to use the Tempo of the TD3 so I had to use the Midi Port. Yes, was very easy, because I just needed the Tempo and not the notes on the TD3. Just plug the Cable done! (the Roland T8 is set on the menu to Sync "AUTO". If I wanted the notes from the TD3 also to play the bass on the T8, I have had to change the Bass midi channel on the T8 to match the midi Channel of the TD3 but just for the Tempo, Start and Stop I didn't have do change anything. Of course you should try it with the Volca Nubass!!! Go for it! 👊✌️
Cumprimentos!✌️
Hey, could you pls Tell me how to connect the t8 to my td-3? I just set it Up Like yours and its not triggerin either the Roland or the Behringer. Do you simply beatmatcht both of your devices or is it possible to connect both propely with Trigger Mode? And thank you for the nice set ✌🏼
Hi, thanks for your comment and questions. I'm planning to do some tutorials about it, stay tuned, subscribe!👍 In this case the TB3 is the master, you can see it at the beginning I just press play on the Behringer TB3 and the Roland T8 starts to running also at the same time and BPM. You need a 5 pin midi cable to 3,5 stereo jack type A.👈 The 5 pin come OUT of the TD3 on the midi IN on the T8. On the Menu of the T8 go to Sync and set to "Auto" in this way it automatically changes from internal to external when something is plugged to the midi in jack or not. Hope it helps, let me know if you got it running. Liebe Grüße!✌️
Are you using the t8 to program the td via midi ? If not van you if you want?;Ive been planning on getting both of them for my mc 707 TR 8s Jd Xi Electribe set up .bgreat work
Hi Justin, no I don't program it via midi, I do everything on the machines themselves. If you want to program it via midi it's only possible via the Behringer software Synthtribe where you program your patterns on the computer and transfer them to the TB3. There is no other way to program the TB3 it dos not have live recording. But if you have a MC707 and the Jd xi, you can use the TB3 as an external voice. For example you can have a pattern on the MC707 and make it play on the TB3 via midi setting the TB3 to midi sync and set it to the same channel from the pattern of MC that you want it to play and you can muted and unmuted direct on the MC like you normally. On the MC you have to go to settings and choose that particular pattern to play "ext". You can choose "int", "ext" or "both" that mean you can have both playing the same pattern making a huge sound depending on the sound that you running on the MC on that channel. Hope it helps!✌️👍
Hi, in this case via midi, you need a 5 pin midi cable to a 3,5 stereo mini jack. Out from TD3 to in T8. The TD3 in this case is the master. But another way is to use the Sync port. For that you need a mini jack stereo cable but with this method only the T8 can be the master because the TD3 does not have a Sync out port. You plug the mini jack stereo cable from Sync out from the T8 in to Sync on the TD3. I made two videos explaining how to Sync the Roland T8 to the Roland S1 via Sync port and via Midi, check that out it might help you. Hope that helps, any questions let me know .👍
Hi Bruno! tahnk you for your answer...via midi, i have plugged with 5 pin midi cable to a 3,5 stereo mini jack out from td3 into in t8 on t8 the sync is set to auto, on the td3 sync is set to midi, the audio is out from td3 into mix-in on t8 and out from t8 into speakers...but i doesn't trigg the t8 @@BrunoLuisGarcia
The TD3 Starts? The way you describe the TD3 shouldn't start running when you press play on it. The TD3 should be set to "Internal" (master) if not is waiting for it to be triggered. Every thing else sound good to me. Do you have the right cable? There are two types of 5 pin to Mini jack. Type "A" and Type "B". The Roland Aira Compact uses the Type "A". Have you already used it with other gear?
