    As someone searching for tools for a DAWLESS setup and kinda new at this, really appreciate that you are actually showing the range of this instrument, rather than just relegating it to being an ACID BASS like literally everyone else.

    • @speakingcolors
      @speakingcolors 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      In all fairness, this is what most peeps want a 303 for, these dirty amazingly yummy acid basslines. But yeah, I'm very surprised at everything else it can do. The FX chain written in the description also gives us a good "demo" of the little we need to FX that beast.

    • @ablearcher2753
      @ablearcher2753 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@speakingcolors Yes, but let's combine this with an actual bass guitar/double bass (even better) track subtly on top and nicely glued together and make some Funky/Disco House kinda tunes with it. If not loud/phat enought a TubeScreamer is always to the rescue...

    • @funkingitup1805
      @funkingitup1805 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      First off, that is the basic overall sound of the unit. Second, you ignored that that there are elements of trance, techno, basses and leads, in addition to the acid bass lines. A 303 clone like this is pretty limited to a certain sound.

    • @usernamehandle
      @usernamehandle 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@funkingitup1805 Wow very creative mind. Hearing the same exact track every time someone demos a product definitely doesn't get old. It inspires me to see the potential of an instrument I'll invest my time, money, and space into reduced to a few sounds I could easily find in any DAWs stock library. Jfc, I'm just commending the guy for stepping out of the damn box. "Well its supposed to sound this way, that is what people want, you ignored this" My. God. Stfu. Who CARES. You ignored that you're an element of brainrot.

    As is always the case, these Demos aren't just playing some random keys and twiddling some meaningless knobs. They are subtle offerings loaded with good taste and a lot of creativity, the creative resource of the exaggerated pitch or glissando, is genius.

      Absolutely yes!Also in my opinion!Started with electronic music back than in 1988…Had a few real 303s during my career. Unfortunately I sold my whole collection of analog classics which included also EMS AKS,SH101,SH09,CS30,3xMS20,MS10,MS50,MonoPoly,Polysix,EMS Synthi E,Crumar DS2,Firstman SQ1,Jupiter 4,SH3a,SH1000,Electro Harmonix Mini Synth,Elector Formant Modular,MC202,Moog Multimoog etc. I am very happy that I can buy clones of my old classics for an very reasonable price.Surprisingly the quality of the Behringer instruments is very reliable and not so unsafe to use as it was in the past.Bought me 2x 303 a red one and a silver one with the modification.

    I got mine this week and am amazed at the bass on this thing now , it can really drop . Half of the fun in using a 303 clone is using its own sequencer. Not very intuitive to start with, but give it 5 minutes and the results can be amazing.

    For those strapped for cash - you can make all these sounds and a million more using Zebra2 for $99. I own an Analogic BassBot, but 90% the '303' sounds in my music are from Zebra2 because the scope is so much broader. This thing does sound amazing though, it's like a 303 with the best parts from the MS-20 and SH-101. Well good.
