  • Springbok is the largest town in the Namaqualand area in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. It was called Springbokfontein until 1911, when it was shortened to Springbok. Springbok is located on the N7 national route which connects the Cape with Namibia, and at the western end of the N14, which connects it with Upington and Pretoria. It is the main town of the Nama Khoi Local Municipality, which also includes a number of surrounding towns such as Okiep and Nababeep.

I love the Northern Cape so much, I was lucky and blessed that I got a job in one of the National Government Department responsible for Monitoring and Evaluation. I was assigned the Northern Cape as the Province I will be responsible for. I must tell you I was captivated by the beauty of the Northern Cape. You have to be strong to stay in this p
Province because the environment is harsh yet so fascinating. I love the small towns and the distances between the towns. Springbok, Calvinia, Poffader, Keimoes, Barkly West, Kakamas, Richtersveld, Postmasburg, Loxton, Victoria West, Mier, and many other small towns are my favourite. How can I forget the smell and taste of the Karoo lamb. It is unbelievable. I can go on forever about this province. When it is cold, it is extremely cold, when it is hot, it is extremely hot. I am planning to buy just a small plot to spend the remainder of my life when I am on pension. THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO AND GOD BLESS YOU AND RICHLY REWARD YOU ON THE WORK YOU ARE DOING FOR THE PEOPLE.
