- Ich hab selbst mal nach so einem Video gesucht und leider keines gefunden. Da ich letztens die Gelegenheit hatte diese wunderschönen Vögel zu filmen, stelle ich nun selbst eins rein. Ich finde es ist so ein zarter Klang, obwohl er vom stärksten Adler der Welt kommt!^^

Incredibly strong beast. Its claws exert such a strength that skulls of its preys are crushed and brain and eyes are expelled out! Not nice to see.

Schönes Video und Harpyien sind wirklich beeindruckende Vögel. Allerdings gehören sie nicht zu den Adlern. ;-) Sie sind eine eigene Gattung (gehören aber wie die Adler zu den Greifvögeln und sind eng mit ihnen verwandt).
Its looks similar to vulture but big in size. Seeing first time. Such a mejestic bird.

Grosse, hohe Voliere und gutes Futter, aber raus kommen sie da nicht. Es wurden Nachzuchten versucht, ob das inzwischen gelungen ist weiss ich nicht, das Weib wäre wohl recht aggressiv gegenüber Artgenossen. Aber sonst sahen sie sehr gepflegt aus, keine abgebrochenen Federn ect

thats a very unhealthy harpy that's not what they sound like in the wild.
+James Lawson the male was calling while i filmed the female, it was a very rainy morning but doesn´t seem unhealthy. maybe unhappy ^^

This wouldnt make sense, as those birds are part of a breeding programm, cause harpy eagles are endangered in their habitat. As far as I know the birds are no longer in this park. It was 12 Years ago

It's an animal - no better or worse than another. Anthropomorphicizing is why they are endangered, tbh
