@@CapnWack You're doubly wrong. First, that's not how the 'resilient' mutation works. Just because an enemy has the resilient mutation, that doesn't mean melee attacks oneshot them at full health. Second, the Firestarter he killed in one punch didn't have the resilient mutation; it had the 'freezing' mutation (you can literally see in its name). As of the writing of this comment, the resilient mutation can't even be paired with the Eviction Notice event. The red glow on enemies is probably from the 'Targeting HUD' mod.
@bamster64 He's actually not wrong that if resilient mutation is active and the enemy has a red online around them, they have no health, so can be one-shot. He's probably just confused because it looks exactly the same as the targeting hud and he probably doesn't use power armour. You are correct about that mutation not being active though. He also should have realised because you can see the health bars before turtle hits them and they are full.
I did a PA unarmed build before they nerfed unarmed. I didn’t do all the buffs just Nuka Dark and Psychobuff. By mid level weak enemies were killing them self on my armor. I’ve got a video of my character at level 15 standing in raiders PA in the White golf club not moving as the Welded Rebar chest piece alone tore up the ghouls. 😃
I believe you can even still do damage with ouga while it's in its shell position. I fought a couple and it seemed it it did do decent. I run this build but without all the food buffs and still does crazy damage.
Thanks Turtle. I got inspired to start a low maintenance mule / alt after watching the starter build video. Been an absolute blast with no issues since level 10. Casually levelled to Level 100 and its the epitome of lazy / zero maintenance - perfect for a mule. No ammo concerns with only a Pepper Shaker and a Tesla Rifle so just fusion cells, not bothering with food and drinks, tons of carry weight
I'd like to note that a non-power armor unarmed build does about this same damage. 2k damage is normal for the unarmed/melee build I've been playing for the last year-ish,. What this does is lets unarmed builds use power armor and still hit hard (because unarmed weapons can't be equipped in power armor). Before, I've always needed to switch to a melee weapon in the rare instance I actually use power armor. So for anyone else who thinks punching looks fun but hates how clunky power armor is, you can just do a normal unarmed build.
Hello, I followed your noob iron fist. Thanks for your guides! I have some questions. What level are you in this build? When do you recommend swapping the perks from the noob build?Any tips on what order to get legendary perks after 50 to transition from noob?
he was like 1400+ lvl so like its up to you to keep the old stats from his noob vid so you can like max out perk cards and test around or just use this from his build overall up to you rlly im still using it n like lvl 63 n still trying to lvl higher up to mess with it to my liking
@@MomoHomeless cheers for the reply. I realised the build was probably a 500+ conclusion when I looked at the skill points etc. I'm just gonna keep working towards it haha
Hey this is kinda off topic but did you notice we have a bug that removed the T50 brother Hood knight and paladin paint from the Power armor paint list? I hope this is fixed in the next patch, the paint is basically the same ones that the paladin and knight from the brotherhood story line on their power armor, I won it from the Test your metal event but it is not showing up on the list and the other characters I have it with it's removed oddly, anyway great video Turtle Power!🐢
Been running an unarmed power armor build since I saw the first video. Still an herbivore and no food buffs except occasional alcohol and steeped fern flower tea. Also doing heavy guns for both distance and close up action. Not a big boss killer, but no problems with any content so far and great fun swapping back/forth in the play styles =)
Honestly you don't need a fully maxed out build for anything except bosses. Even then... debatable. Depends what you're using. By the time you get to doing fully maxed out end game builds it's more about, "How quickly can I kill this boss?" Than, "Can I kill this boss?" Every boss in the game Can be killed with every weapon in the game as far as I'm aware. At least every weapon I have ever tested is capable of doing it. I've done it with pipe rifles and 10mm pistols before so I doubt anything else is going to struggle much, given the right build. Shotguns seem to struggle the most out of every type of gun. I haven't ever tested melee though because I hate the way melee combat feels in this game.
I saw someone running around in-game the other day, one-punching everything to death. Maybe they followed this build or did something similar. Regardless I have to say it was very impressive to see. Good shit.
Does the talons mutation buff the damage? Seems weird if it does since it’s not your own fists wanting to confirm if it does before adding the mutation to myself
@@AngryTurtle OMG MR TURTLE ❤️ I will try again with all food buffs I do think that was my mistake ,I used the set up from your first video and not this end game one,so already I made mistake there.Must say was still strong though even without,I just want to run around playing the one punch man theme in lobbies and doing the one punch on them 😆 you make a man's fallout dream a potential reality ! ❤️ Any chance you would do powerfist build for here or maybe I need to search your videos better

Pretty sure fire starters got a big health nerf this update they barely have more health then a lvl 100 mutant now, no idea why they neft them they were the only challenge in eviction other then getting caught in the rad scrubber
Instead of pain train You can 1 point slugger and hace a chainsaw. Also theres no not really a point in being bloodied for this build. You don't get unyielding, nor bloodied efect on weapon.
Sadly this will never really be endgame or viable since ranged is just too powerful compared to melee.😕 I wanted to go melee first thing i started this game but learned very fast that melee just cant compare. In grp content it gets even worse since most mobs are dead before you even get close. Seems the only thing you need melee for is on mutated events where mobs only die with melee hits but even then a bash with your gun does the trick. They really need a big overhaul in the fighting system department to balance things out.

Killing 4 scorched with one punch was pretty good too 😅

no

I want to try this, but does it still work with the updates they made to melee food?
works even better
