I have had mine for a month now! It beats a 10 speed F-150! There is no problem with power! Matter of fact it gets up and go faster than I expected! The sound of the engine can make you think that it is not powerful but it is all the truck I need!
Only had my '23 LT Trailboss for a month now, no towing yet, but I love it! Such a smooth drive and turns much better than I expected. We have huge potholes in our town and can barely feel them. Lol
Just got myself a '22 2.7 4x4...when the salesman pulled it up, i was sure it was going to be a dog and i would not like the engine. I test drove it, couldnt be more impressed. Plenty of power and decent mileage.
Thanks for this video because the dealer is waiting for a yes from me for 2,7lL equipped 2023 Silverado but I'm thinking the 2.7l it could be a hard sell and a better offer should be expected
I have a Lt 2022 Silverado 2.7 liter. I like it a lot. However the info center I have an issue with. The speakers sound almost like they are blown. However they work fine for a month, then I turn on the the radio or when I use the speakers there is that noise again. I told the Chevy dealer and they said they can’t do anything about it. I need to come in when it happens. Well I am never near them. A guy on TH-cam has the same problem and Chevy dealer took his apart and but didn’t fix it. Anyways besides from that I love truck.
I have a 21 Custom with the 2.7,my only complaint is POOR interior Dome lighting. I love the power, torque and avg 21mpg.my other complaint is no transmission dipstick!
Does your truck have the LED lights on the inside? I found it to be adequate but not overly plentiful. I find many vehicles to have poor or just adequate interior overhead lighting. The only good thing about vehicles with bulbs is that you can change them out for brighter options whereas with LED's, it's much more difficult.
well it specs out way better than my 04 heritage 4.6 l is that 4 banger gonna be rung out before I get it paid off though I pull a single axel bass boat no big deal
That is interesting! There has been some extra money off for the 2.7L trucks from Chevy but it's not a huge incentive. I expect the 2023 Colorado to remain fairly affordable in the W/T trims although it probably will go up a few thousand over the 2022 starting MSRP.
It is quite a lot of gloss black. I didn't notice any real impedance on visibility and luckily because its not something you touch often, it shouldn't get too scratched up. It does look a little dusty over time though.
Please stop telling lies about gm 2.7 engine. Is not good engine it reminds me old chevrolet vega , gm try bring out 4,6,8 v engine together was dumb engine the engine didn't know what shift going 😳 in very sad ,don't forget oldsmobile v8 diesel engine other mistake just like Northstar engine 😢 worst ever made 😢.

The TB is super nice also. I agree that these truck soak up the bumps very well.

2.7 is an over built engine and will not have any real long term issues.

I have to wait 3 to 5 months for My trailboss because i opted for the 5.3 V8.
Wow! I wouldn't expect such a wait right now. Trucks are starting to be one of the top vehicles in inventory now.

You can get a z71 with the 2.7
The only way to get any Z71 options with the 2.7 is the Trailboss trims. You cannot select Z71 on the LT with the 2.7.
