    I was hoping you were going to give that Coconut Tree a big hug. The bath robe and arm part was top rate cinematic quality! Thanks for the laugh and the smile I also enjoy your videos.

      Hahhahahhaaaa! Oh, Kirk! hahhahaa. I'm laughing so hard! Oh, man! I should have hugged the coconut tree! Next time :) I love the "cinematic quality" comment about the bath robe and stretchy arm; that's hilarious! Aw, you are welcome, and thank you for the laughs and smiles, too. You totally make my day every publishing day, and I look forward to your cheerful messages. I'll see you next weekend! :)

      @@kirkstaley1170 Right! You just reminded me of my trip to PA last winter when I saw the Charlie Brown Christmas Broadway musical, and from that moment on, that's been my jam! haha. You reminded me of that video, and I had to pull it up and watch it. It's one of my favorites! I'm not sure if it's robe/arm cinematic quality hehe, but there's lots of Linus and Luci singing and dancing in the bathroom haha (from about 5 1/2 minutes on...)

    Were you in the military? Or was your husband?
    I went to Aruba twice in the 90s by plane. Did a tour of island in small van with maybe 5 other people. It was fun to see other ends and side of island. How people lived and the terrain. Im sure it’s changed a lot now.

      Wow, Sandra! That sounds awesome. I'm sure that exploring by van was such a great way to go! P.S. I was in the military 🎖️🪖

    Hi there Mandi, enjoyed the vlog. That small ship you showed in the vlog belongs to the Scientologists, and it sits there all the time.
    I've chosen excursions thru the cruise line if I wanted to do a tour, to get max explore time.
    Question for you: Did you keep to yourself all the time whenever you were on the ship?

    • @GoMandiMartin
      @GoMandiMartin  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, Will! Thank you so much 🌞 Oh, that's so interesting about the small ship; thanks for sharing that. I see that you did a solo cruise back in 2019, and I think that's awesome -- as that's my favorite way to do it! Ah, yes! That's such a great question. I didn't always keep to myself, but I really enjoy my quiet time alone, so having lots of that is always important to me. I do meet people and get invitations for meals, entertainment, excursions, etc., but I accept those sparingly as it cuts into my "me time". Plus, I just genuinely enjoy my own company, so I had a ton of fun exploring completely on my own. How about you?

    • @willcooper6980
      @willcooper6980 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GoMandiMartinI also enjoy my quiet time alone. As for meeting people during cruises, I will go to the scheduled solo cruiser meetup on the first night and mingle.🙂 But I'm not trying to find somebody to hang out with every night. During an excursion, I'll gladly chat with whomever is closest to me if we're eating the provided lunch at a big table(s) shared by the participants.
      Otherwise I'll be by myself because I've learned that as a solo if you don't start the conversation, there won't be a conversation. This applies to me as a man because men are expected to lead, take initiative. The other passengers assume I want to be left alone.

    • @GoMandiMartin
      @GoMandiMartin  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@willcooper6980 Ah, yes, I complete get that. I'm pretty chatty haha, but I'm like a little fireworks show: you get 3-4 minutes, and then I'm off again hahhahhaa. There's definitely a small window where if you don't say hi and then leave, you'll have a new best friend :). But, I think that if you set off to conquer something completely on your own, you have to be ... on your own 😊. Oh gosh, Will, I never go to the solo travel meet-ups. I made that mistake once, and no no no haha. My experience was unique, but for me, it seemed like no one was traveling solo intentionally, and the meetup was a way for people to make plans to spend the rest of the trip together. No, sir haha. Plus, it's really hard to film with strangers glued to your side 😊
