I got the pink charcoal and the flash a week ago! I LOVE the charcoal and the flash does add some really cool dimension! Have you tried the Kevin Murphy Leave-in Repair? It is INCREDIBLE!!! I have fine long blonde hair and it makes my hair so light and soft and detangled and leaves absolutely no residue. I totally suggest trying it out if you haven’t. I’d be curious how you find Kevin Murphy products compared to the Purology that you like so much.

I recently discovered your channel and have been loving all of your videos for hair care!! I wash my hair 2-3 times a week and have to use Olaplex No. 3 every time. I have a problem with build up/oily scalp from working out every morning. How would you suggest using the Amika Reset if I also want to use the Olaplex?
I wouldn’t use the olaplex everyday. I’ve done it before to try but I find it works best (for me) when I use it once a week. I first clean my hair, then squeeze out the water in my hair and apply the olaplex in my hair in the shower, tying it up in a bun. I then go about my day or sleep with it overnight and clean my hair like normal in the morning or 6-10 hours later

I love the Amika dry shampoo, best ever but the detangling spray does not work at all for me, i still have to pull through my hair using it so I won't be using the detangling spray, I actually recommend the pureology one!
I have always heard that brushing wet hair is one of the worst things you can do to it. I am so shocked how many people use a brush to detangle there damp hair. Just listening to your brush go over snarled areas made me cringe. The last thing I do in the shower is use a very wide spaced comb with the conditioner in it and it makes such a difference when I go to comb out my hair once I’ve gotten out of the shower.
If I wait until my hair is dry it’s unbearably snarly & leads to way more breakage! Bleach + hard water is a bad combo but that’s what I’m working with

However my hair has high porosity at the length because of heat styling (without a heat protectant. I know...). Is this because of my hair type? Yes! I thought the same thing! Type 1a hair panic! More than 2-3 sprays of a product mean the hassle of having to rewash the hair, ugh. I just ordered the Kenra Daily Provision leave-in mist, and the Virtue Purifying leave-in conditioner to try. My bathroom closet is full of “lightweight” products that were too heavy. It seems the worst culprits are coconut oil, Shea butter, and dimemicone? If oils or dimethicone are at the top of the ingredients list, my freshly washed and styled hair will end up looking unwashed and I have to start wash day all over. It is a challenge to find nourishing products for my dry mid-length to ends.
