Absolutely perfect timing Paul. Thank you for sharing this. In the middle of adding a bunch of screenshots for our new product website and I wanted to have a nice effect go break free of the flat screenshots. This is perfect
I was so frustrated. The best mockup tool ever made and it's free. Unfortunately, it only exported at a low resolution. Then in a desperate attempt, I tried zooming in on the webpage at 200% resolution, and tried exporting again. Low and behold, it actually worked! Now I am exporting at double the resolution which is plenty. Give it a shot!
One thing that amuses me about this one Paul is that although it can create screenshots that look they are generated in Safari, it doesn't actually work in Safari ... maybe it's just my sense of humour, but this really made smile ;)
this is such a better sales job than working as a sales development rep for a saas startup. you only have to do presentations! fucking easy money bruthaaaa
this was the tool that I really was searching for, I wish they added the ability to add texts say on top of the screen for example this will be so cool
lol, it's kinda funny how Apple-centric the mockups are, yet Safari isn't supported. Also, while probably being a limitation in the beta, not being able to reposition or scale the content after it's been placed is rather annoying.
Ha - I don't think I'd propose a design to a client skewed, angled, and cropped - never needed something like this - but I can really see using it to announce client site launches, etc... might be great! Canva for designers :)
This is very useful and I really like it. But is there a way to adjust the inserted image's positioning within the mockup frame? If not that would be a feature I'd really like to see added. Also the preferences menu is spelled as "pereferences" ;)
Oh my goodness, where do I even begin with this incredible video?! "How Is This Website FREE? | Shots So" blew my mind from start to finish. It was like taking a journey through the internet and discovering a hidden treasure trove of amazing features and resources that I never even knew existed! The presenter was absolutely fantastic - they had so much energy and enthusiasm, and they really knew their stuff. They took me through every aspect of the Shots So website, showing me all the amazing tools and resources that I could use to create stunning images and graphics in just a matter of minutes. And the best part? It's all completely free! I was completely blown away by the sheer amount of functionality that Shots So has to offer. From advanced photo editing tools to a massive library of pre-made templates and designs, this website has everything you could possibly need to take your digital creations to the next level. And the fact that it's all completely free just seems too good to be true! Overall, I would highly recommend "How Is This Website FREE? | Shots So" to anyone who's interested in digital design or just loves exploring new and innovative online resources. It's an absolute must-see video that will leave you feeling inspired and excited to create amazing things!
Very cool site. And since it (may) not require the server, it could be possible to download the website to use this offline as well or use this version once it‘s not free anymore.
It looked promising, but the shots look skewed rather than being displayed in true perspective. Still, it maybe useful for presentations where there is a tight deadline.
The mockups from all the other manufacturers will be added soon, we decided to start with Apple at the beginning to check engagement and expand from there.
I bet this would be brilliant, if it was still available. At least now, March 11 the information about the domain is that expired yesterday. If this is a definitive situation, this video becomes pointless, unfortunately, because this looked like a great tool. I'll try to check it out again in the future to see if it comes back to life.
Thanks for the video. The idea is great, but the quality of the final slide is awful. I wouldn't add this to my portfolio. Terrible pixels 🙈. Anyway, well done guys! I wish them the best of luck with their tool.
That really shouldn't be happening but we are actually now investigating this problem, can i know the model of the device that you used to export images with. Hopefully we can fix this problem ASAP 😊
@@MarlonCarvalhoDG no idea! I've just tested creating and downloading a mock-up and no sign of a pro plan or sign up in sight for me. Maybe @kamiabayani could shed some light on this?
@WPTuts, we haven't added any pricing or pro features. After reading comments and feedback, we plan to add a lot more free features based on what people want.
Absolutely perfect timing Paul. Thank you for sharing this. In the middle of adding a bunch of screenshots for our new product website and I wanted to have a nice effect go break free of the flat screenshots. This is perfect
Fantastic! Glad the timing was good too. ;)

There is definitely an irony there. Lol

Whoa 🤯 Awesome! Thanks for sharing, Paul.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome. I wish there was a way to change the size/positioning of the screenshot because now it gets cropped when I place it on a computer.

Good stuff as always, Paul. Again, thanks for creating this type of content for us. Very helpful.

Are there no JS tutorial out there on youtube which teach us to make a tool like this?
Wow thanks very much, such a great tool. I'll certainly be using it from now on.

Very cool!
Very cool site. And since it (may) not require the server, it could be possible to download the website to use this offline as well or use this version once it‘s not free anymore.
is this just for web mockups or apps mockups? or does it have packaging mockups too?
No, no packaging mock-ups in this one right now.
Paul, the website seems to have been taken down 😒
They are working on getting it back online.
The website is back online, the outage is fixed :)
Not seeing the skip button no matter how many times I did this.
You can change the bg color by typing the hex values where the hex value is shown
Woah... This is a fantastic tool, thanks for sharing
The website is offline but do know an other good alternative
They are having domain issues but they are working on getting it sorted. It should be back online soon.

"How is this free?" Well the developer probably came from the Linux community instead of the apple community. 😉
Not free anymore
How did you come to that conclusion?
I'm on the website right now and there's no mention of it not being free! 🤔
