I Carry a really really small knife in my keychain. I mainly cut or help remove the cigar label paper or the ribbons that some have at the tip. But it's useful in general, just in case. You never know when you might need one

I carry knives on a daily at work to cut split conduit loom, electrical tape, make markings, etc. I also use my laser pointer/ flashlight to see into bilges and point at broken components/ where things can go!

Kudos to Protech's foresight of including the Tritium button lock (almost lost my Malibu Operator at night once, if not for the Tritium!). I EDC a Tactical Turn Side-Click pen, which I love. I am in the UK(Scotland) and rarely carry cards as the phone does almost everything cashless. Its great.i keep a 20 inside the back of my phone cover just in case. The only times I need cash is the barbers and a few services I get to the house (no not that) like window washer and house cleaners

If it's not your cup of tea, that's fine. But saying you stopped wearing it because you couldn't deal with all the notifications is bogus. You can turn those off, and I'm sure you know that.
Glad you like the reform wallet! Regarding the watch, what I’m referring to is the added sensory stimulation. I can definitely acknowledge all the benefits and added tech you can take advantage of with a wearable. Yes I can silence the audible notifications - hell, I can disable the notifications altogether and have it just be a screen on my wrist and only engage with it when I want, but that’s exactly the thing. I found it to be another point of distraction and sensory stimulus when my current state of mind is to regulate and reduce the amount of stimuli I get from screens. Another layer to this is sentiment of screen regulation ebbs and flows, that’s just where I’m at right now. Hope this clarifies things a bit!

Well... since you mentioned the problem with notifications on a smartwatch, did you miss the fitness tracking and other resources from it?
Haha the ring I have on is my wedding ring! Just tungsten carbide and rose gold, nothing smart. I'm not really a jewelry dude so I couldn't get behind the Oura, although I have friends who think highly of it. As for fitness tracking, I've used Fitbit, Whoop, and to a certain extent the Apple Watch for this purpose, but I also found that all the metrics got in the way of me just getting out there and working out. I def see the benefits of smart things and apps, but I'm currently in the season of balance, having my productivity apps but also keeping things simple. Thanks for the comment!!

I absolutely can’t stand the way that that knife flaw works where if you have a knife on you it Hass to be out on your belt because let’s face it when someone sees a knife out on your belt it freaks them out unless they happen to be a knife person. It’s ridiculous. And then if you hide it and you happen to get harassed by the cops for some reason and they go through your stuff then that’s an extra charge. Granted, I don’t think that’s going to happen to most people but still, it’s really annoying.to me, I think if you’re gonna have a knife out on your belt where it’s just right out in the open, it might as well be a sword.😂

Almost never use my edc knives maybe twice a year. I have box cutters for packages 😂 no need to get blades dirty or blunt from tape etc.
