Hello and welcome we are Reanne & Ben Traveling the world for a year, this is our India series we landed in Kerala 9th January with a 30 day visa, we are planning on traveling 3000km to New Delhi using only Indian railway.
In this episode we finally ride the First Class Air Conditioned, known as 1AC, is found only on the most popular inter-state train routes. The cost is around double that of 2AC and is comparable to that of flying. Compartments have lockable doors, carpet and either two or four beds, stacked vertically in tiers. The beds are wider than other classes.

We are Reanne and Ben living in Portsmouth, England. We have been together from the age of 15.
We brought our first house together at 23, got married at 25 and Reanne started her own business at 27.
We have been wanting to travel the world for the last couple of year but covid p

Prayagraj SF express goes from prayagraj to delhi.
Love those trains!!! We once went to sleep in the evening, thinking we would be in Goa the next morning. The next morning we found out we where still in Mumbai 🤭🤣

Definitely a lot more comfortable in first class with your own room and stuff don’t think it feel as much of an experience but we could relax and get some work done which was good

Hi next time plan a trip to North-East India….explore Assam’s beautiful tea plantations, Amazing waterfalls in Meghalaya and so on….and of-course the cuisine is unlike anything you’ve ever had…try our pork with bamboo-shoot, Duck curry and pair it with our local rice wine….

Guys if u look luxury then welcome to India. Travel on Maharaja Express awarded as World’s most luxurious train many times and there 7 luxurious train in India running in different routes. Maharaja Express which is world’s most luxurious train costs Rs 400000 to 16,0000. 5 star palace on wheel😌

Hey, when you plan next time do a tour on south India especially Kerala.Its the most developed part with lush greenary and is a great tourist friendly place.
We LOVE Kerala when we come back we will definitely spend some time there
Careful with your Cameras/Phones .... There are phone snatchers waiting to grab them when train is moving... Some kids wait near track holding a stick

I have question indian trains ticket are advanced booked. How foreigners gets confirmed ticket in a day. Or they also book advances book 1 month or 2 month earlier.

There is some reserved quota for foreign travellers in selected trains which often vaccant at the last moments.However advance reservation is still applicable to these reserved seats.

first class is more expensive but you get soap and toilet paper!!! that's priceless sometimes, eh? lol Those were definitely better accommodations... You guys are really getting comfortable with the traveling life. Really cool stuff. Congrats on selling the house! That's huge! What were those kids yelling in the bloopers? I think they were daring you to jump off... lol

Lol I’m pretty sure one one of our Indian friends will tell us in the comments. Me (ben) I’m vouching for the bum spray over the toilet paper it’s changed my life 😂. To be fair it’s well worth the £15 for the both of us to have our own room. Big move for us selling the house but we think it’s right we have abit of a plan for the future but all will be revealed in the next couple months

Fyi I don't know who has said you but it's not best train in india there are many specifically tourist train, vande bharat, Tejas express humsafar express Duronto , rajdhani as well
Yes we realised that after we filmed it we will do the tejas express next time
Actually those are not shoe Racks.The blankets were kept at that place before COVID.But Yeah we can use those as per our requirement

They have private contractors around Delhi who can bring you food from some of the decent local restaurants there, not sure if it was in the region you were travelling in but it's always better to get that than the Railway food. To call Railway food sh*t would be an understatement. I felt second hand embarrassment looking at all those watered down "sabjis".

Both these trains are running in few selected route and even not.daily.Further between Agra and Jaipur there is no such types of train including Shatabdi and Rajdhani .

Guys told there is 2types of toilets 1 is Eastern and another is western , you should look after the 4toilets . 🤦 And always carry toilet paper if you are not use to with water.
