I didn't see a single shifter in this whole episode... and they call themselves professionals?!? 🤣 This looks bloody awesome, it's gonna be an absolute weapon when it's finished.
Reckon we can all appreciate the learning curve MPW went through when all this scanning tech came around. Thousands of hrs spent perfecting the process.
MPW are next level. I can’t imagine taking my VF anywhere else after watching this. I’m not very technical so really appreciate the explanation of WHY you do certain things. I SO enjoyed this!
Wow , how lucky are you Scotty to be able to call on Adam and his team , ive never seen such a good looking rear end and I've spent many a nights up at Kings Cross !!! Great work boyz
Another cracking episode on this build Scotty. What I personally like about getting Adam and the team involved is how much detail goes into building such a car. It also demonstrates what a professional outfit MPW is along with Adam and team. Scotty, I reckon you will be balls deep into the 7’s with this thing. Love it.
How do you guys still don't have a million subscribers is beyond me. You're doing a good job here. Hope you can have a lot of fun with it guys! Greetings from The Netherlands :)
You can see the precision, time saved and exact detail achieved with plasma cutting the brackets. Imagine how long this’d take going old school with a gas axe, drill press and grinders. Looking forward to weight difference comparing the V6 ute and the Barnie the purple dinosaur ute. If you don’t get the next video out before Xmas, merry Xmas to the Carnage team.
I thought Scotty was selling himself a bit short there too. While the gear they are using is expensive gear, that doesn't stop someone with beer pockets doing the same thing on the cheap.
Wow, what a professional build. Thanks to MPW for showing all this. Scotty, you may remember my comment last week about inches, I hope I didn't come across as a prick. I respect the work you do for this channel and the motorsport community, and your knowledge. Keep this channel going, cos I'll keep watching. Cheers mate
After all this work on the girl, it will be interesting to see the weight difference with that rear end , motor and tranny. Looking like a sweet build and one of the best to date. 👊👍💪👌
Loving the progress on this diff build out. Every single bracket seems to be well thought out and with purpose. Designed in a way for maximum strength. Not very often I am impressed with fabrication jobs, but the guys at VPW really seem to know their shit. I just wish there was more of this on TH-cam. Not just stuff that look pretty, but is utter crap from a strength and design perspective. I'm hoping those short shock bolts are for mock up only. Kudos to the guys at VPW for a job well done.
Yep cant wait till she running and on the dyno, maybe around 1,200 HP at the rears is my guess, maybe a lot more depending on how good the engine is made and totally balanced and especially using titanium exhaust would be great, less weight the better. Well done Scotty and the team keep up the great work guys.🦘🦘🦘 Ausie ausie ausie Oi Oi Oi.✌✌👌👌👍👍
I bet those tyres are going to rub Scotty, when your doing a burnout they enlarge ,so i hope you have measured out the distance between the top of the inner arch and the space you have etc. I hope its ok. cheers 🦘🦘✌✌👌👌👍👍
Calm down. I’d like to see Carnage episodes continue with the font because this episode was one of the most watchable I’ve seen today. This and @Torqhub have been great. More fabrication please.
@@EricaMTBwhat do you mean coils don’t lie? It’s the leverage from applying power to the suspension geometry that pushes the tyre in to the ground, not the spring.
Let me know when you're doing your next project under $1Million. I have no interest in this. It's not suitable for road use and its not really a race car, it's a rich w⚓'s toy.

Always good to see when a boss calls out his whole team for the good work they do. Looking great Scotty! Can't wait for the next one!
The 3D scanning really takes the fabrication to another level!

Great Engineering. Such highly talented people. All built from scratch. Thanks Scotty and Merry Xmas to Everyone .
Coming along nicely guys, well done. Also well done to Adam as his explanation and camera presence/ confidence is a pleasure to watch. 👍
15:21 How good is that. Cutting out some small reliefs in the tabs where the welds are on the diff. Love the detail.
Not many people would have noticed that, we'll spotted
MPW is the right place to be. Adam and the team are on point for the rear end. 👍

MPW such great work.
This project is hard core. Can't wait to see it run.
Not saying someone with the skills & determination couldnt do it but boy these guys are at another level. It is great to see.

when those wheels went on i also went "awwwww yes"
Killer video Scotty and team !!! 😜👍🇦🇺
Wow, what a rear, looking forward to seeing the finished product at the next Drag Week.
Loving this build guys, it’s so cool to see what’s achievable with great tradesman. Very very cool.
Fantastic couple of videos fitting this diff, very interesting. Thanks Scotty 👍.
Bugger me Scotty that looks unreal mate..
Definitely credit to all involved Scotty 💯💪🔥👌
Fantastic workmanship 👍
Absolute piece of artwork… brilliant work!!
Fantastic job looking tuff guys.
What a work of art that rear end is.... puts J-Lo to shame 🤣Credit to Adam and the MPW crew 👍🍻
Definitely gonna be a low 8s car and has potential for the 7 in time to come.

Thanks Scotty for a awesome yr have a good break we will see ya in 2024
Top episode Scotty.
Ha! Got here first. Been working on the wife's rear suspension.
So Scotty, are you going to have your car show kit (spray wax, duster, etc) with you when you race? Beautiful work.
nice work

Exactly how i would have done it Scotty.............
Amazing content, Scotty, even if there wasn’t any sharks 🦈
With freaking laser beams
@@STREETMACHINETV because what good is a shark if it doesn’t have freakin laser beams attached to its head 🦈
Good to see you guys using lots of ARB products. Great company. But i thought they were more into 4wds than Commodes.
Haha, ARB means Anti-Roll Bar, nothing to do with 4x4 accessories
Hey Scotty, there was no mention of the setup angle of the 4 link arms, ie. where they are pointing to when in their resting position etc......
We'll explain that in a later video when the car gets scaled and set-up for racing
@21:09 surely the bearing doesn't get installed dry? Wouldn't it get greased up?
😊❤
Exactly the way I did mine lol
Guessing 20k + for that flat floor😂
👍👍👍
Looks like a heap of unsprung weight in that diff assembly/bracketry Scotty, but I suppose strength is more important in a drag car?
A bit of weight in the back of a ute never hurts either
So what is the cost to the average punter for this set-up? Because I’m seeing tens of thousands of $$ in that rear end!
gota get 1 of them tig welders
what size and spec for rear tyres and wheels pls looks so tuff once the wheels went on!!!!
Street Pro 002 Beadlock wheels, 15x10 with 4.5in backspacing. Tyres are MT Drag radials 275/60/15
Size of that ceramic. Most go through a bottle of gas a day lol. Pulse most be for heat control eh wink wink haha

Titanium exhaust doesn't gain any power and it's not going to lose much weight from that given the rest of the vehicle.

how much was that $10,000 rear end scotty 🤔 just in case some of us want to go down that rout

Anti reflective spray for scammers? Wouldn't it better for cops? So the radar guns don't get a read on this baby when it's doing 200mph on the Hume?
Why are you not running a big tire?
In Australia, this is a big tyre
Car bound for low 8s or better scotty ?
That's the plan
Anyone wondering ARB = anti roll bar
No chance of having a flat bed
None at all, but that's okay. We'll deal with it

Haven't we done enough budget builds? Isn't it nice to go a bit extra for once?
Squat equals more pressure and traction. Wanting separation is like wanting a front wheel drive.
Separation is pushing downwards, forcing the tyres and body in different directions
So why would all the record holding radial cars have such extreme separation?
@@STREETMACHINETVcoils don't lie. Separation equals less pressure and less traction.
