❤ I love your approach, especially because is always pointing to the best of the pet and not towards the pocket of those who studied but instead of helping want to empty our pockets 😢. My dog was poisoned with methamphetamine mix with marihuana, by that time thank GOD I gave him activated charcoal every 4, 6, and 8 hours, this in a sequence of 3days, 4days, and 5days, then daily for a week, this with alternated soft blend diet. The Vet ER recommended me to MRI $4,000⁰⁰, only the visit was $900⁰⁰ which I suffered cause they hostage me until I paid, (friends helped 😢 a lot, almost didn't make it, and this without the MRI). Did a GoFundMe and only got $300.⁰⁰
By GOD's grace I continued with the charcoal as mentioned, my dog is lively, loving, and more settled. I can see more white in one of his eyes when he moves them up or side to side. Out of that, or non-related don't know, he developed a small outer cyst. Still the vet wants to do a biopsy which becomes to a vet bill hight than what anyone can imagine.
As I mentioned, he is happy, gentle, and more aware of what he takes from people, floors, etc. I'm really proud of you Dr. Jones, for taking time to help us understand what is working and what not, where are the vet tricks and how much is costing our pets' lives and our ❤ and pockets. I'm glad someone can stand up for our pets and the truth.
I think sometimes some veterinarians are only thinking on having fame, money and the image of knowledge when they don't really have it. Even more, nowadays, many are looking to have bigger practices where they can have all kinds of specialized services like the ER in MD, but they lack of heartedly services, compassion, empathy and payment plans for those who don't have the means to pay immediately, for reasons of credit, poverty, etc. This has become business 😢 it's not service and commitment for our pets. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences, knowledge and holistic approaches.

💯 agree, doctor's and vets too into the money, and even if it's not about the money, like you said they see a little something and then they do all kinds of invasive things which cause other bad things to happen. People do not get this.
My lab was diagnosed with bone cancer. We did the amputation to remove the tumor but I said no to chemo. Hos vet said he would have two to three months. I cooked all his food and made his treats. Brownie lived an additional one year and eight days. He could of made it longer but I could tell he was tired. So we said goodbye❤

Yes Xylitol is extracted from birch bark (or occasionally corn). But I’ve never seen it listed as birch sugar so I also found this very interesting!
I never heard of birch sugar until today. But if I ever see it on a product then I will know to be cautious,
Xylitol in chewing gum will kill a dog instantly. Happened to my cousin's friend's dog.

I brought my dog in this morning for a very expensive dehtal cleaning and possible extractions. She was very sick around Thanksgiving with a big mass on ger bottom jaw. I thought maybe a tooth abcess. They said it was a lymph node and probably related to bad teeth. I set up the appointment. Brought her in again after initial exam because she was still not looking well. Gave her a round of antibiotics which i was nervous about. Didn't want to mess up her gut and immune system so i ordered a pro and pre biotic online to maybe help with adverse effects. Showed up today at 7 am for procedure and very last thing they said to me was oh she needs to be up to date on all her vaccines. I told them she had a full round about three years ago and I was done. She is 11. I don't like vaccines, think they're totally unnecessary and not worth the risk. So they had a yll month and TWo separate office visits to bring the tooic up and decided to spring it on me last second. I guess hoping i would be put on the spot and give in but i refused. Even tried to get my signature on a screen with no form attached to it so i could sign was I was agreein to. She said it is for everything we just talked about ans would call me when the doctor got in to let me know if they would forgo the shots. I said why don't you find out now so ican just leave with her nowand not have to come back. She left the room came back after calling doctor and said it wiuld have to be done. Its protocol and important for her and the other dogs "safety"..... Oh really, so these vaccines are now "effective" within minutes? Why was it not important the other two times I was here? Why didnt you tell me two weeks ahed of the procedure? Its all a scam. I asked for my dog back and we went home. Now begins the search for a more holistic vet in the area but don't think I'm going to have much luck.

Vets don't want to see my dog since he was 11 years old and hasn't had any vaccines in years. What's the point in giving them to him now? We live out in the literal edge of nowhere and he barely goes anywhere but the fenced yard and down the road with me. I at least found a vet to do a minute look over of him since his back and tail were different (turns out he has degenerative spine and a tumor in his tail) but she wouldn't actually treat him. That's okay, she did suggest some natural supplements which I was already giving him but had backed off on since my other dog, a keeshond, suddenly passed away in her sleep and I was paranoid about giving anything. Over 6 months later and he's still getting around the same and made it pass his 12th birthday. He's a bloodhound rottweiler mix so that's kinda unheard of age for those breeds. I found this vet by asking around other people's experiences since I decided not to go back to the vet who I was seeing since I took my keeshond there explaining the symptoms I had been seeing (headaches, loss of vision, confusion) and they ignored it, looked at her eyes and ears for a second and said she was fine. 4 months later she died with blood running out her ear. Plus the hound mix very seriously threatened to bite that vet last he was there which he has NEVER done that to anyone before. I hope you can find a good vet for your pup and a long quality of life to her! Bless.

My daughters got out 3yr shot up.
And now her gums are black in spots. They were pink.
So they don't want to listen to me, brush with coconut oil, coll. Silver and the spray, but made another appointment for gum cleaning.
Teeth are fine for now.
Going to do as you suggested with that spray. Couldn't quite hear what it was called.
See what happens in 2 weeks.

I am with you on diagnostic testing. The vets around here are all about 2 visits a year and lots of tests. I have argue all the time, I don't flea,tick and minimal heartworm, only ivermectin and as little as possible. My dogs are all healthy and never need their teeth done if they lived from the beginning with me- a few rescues have had to have it
.😢if people used a little common sense with their pets, they would live longer.

If the dogs breath is fine, unnecessary. They checked her teeth every visit even when she was a baby. Told me they could do with a clean when she was 3, said back, no way. They are thieves. All meds are usually human, and they charge terrible prices.

@@vivrowe2763 I agree, a big scam. 2 rescue poodles had their teeth cleaned every year by previous owner. They had to have 4 and 10 teeth removed when I got them. What is up with that? I have had them 5 years, now 12 and 16, going strong. ♥️♥️
What does everyone do for heartworm?
@@michellesowders8065 I give one tablet a month which is for her weight, but it's only Ivermectin brought from a pet place, not a Vet. No trust in them anymore.
I love you Dr. Jones. The healthiest dogs I owned had no vaccines a good clean food, I cooked for them I didn’t take them to the vet except for one torn cruciate ligament, I walked them and the natural cars for them at home. I had two dogs that got vaccines. The first one got a rabies vaccine she had a bad reaction, I thought she was going to die that day, she developed cancer within a year or two the second dog was a four month old German shepherd who had an immediate reaction of whining eating her skin, pulling at her face the same day when I took her back to the vet he said that never could’ve happened from the vaccine. I told him that was a reaction he just looked at me and did nothing we had to put her down before she was two years old because she suffered so much and she had uncontrollable seizures. I had a black lab who is 15 never took her to the vet, no vaccines and she died of old age. My current dog is 12, a black lab, although she is getting a little slower because of her knee injuries she is still healthy and goes for walks and plays. Dr. Jones please keep doing these videos and informing people. There’s so many pets who are damaged from conventional veterinary therapy. my parents and grandparents had a farm, they never took their dogs to the vet, no vaccines, they were healthy and they didn’t get cancer, diabetes and all these other terrible diseases. I encourage everyone to look into cooking for their pets it’s not that hard. You just have to plan on what you’re going to make.I make mine in large batches and freeze them
^ My beloved Bloodhound had cancer in her mouth, under her tongue, the vet said they could remove as much of it as they could, but it would likely come back. we had it done, she did pretty well for another > month and a half, then she stopped eating, she couldn't even drink water, and she was bleeding. Sadly we had to say good bye to her. she was 8 and a half years old... She had the best life possible, I was with her 24/7, she slept on my bed every night.. She will always be missed.. heartbreaking... Thank you for your videos.. You are so Spot On..glad I found your channel.

There are so many people who are so selfish when it comes to putting their pet down. They only think of them selfs and not the pour animal. I have had to put down a few different animals because there was absolutely nothing that could have given them a quality life. I have always put my pets first before my personal feelings, even if they break my 💔. I have been this way sents child hood. Growing up on a farm, even a youngster would have to make adult decisions when it came to quality of life for an animal. I'm 50, and I have put down a few different animals in my life time and it's still heart 💔
I knew one lady years ago who made her dog go through chemo in order to treat cancer. I felt so bad for the dog because he was so sick, and unlike humans, you can't explain to a dog why you are giving them this poison. Personally, I Think humans should probably avoid chemo like the plague as well… Exploring other options. That stuff is nasty poison… It's like carpet bombing your body just to treat one thing. And to do it to a dog is just criminal. If it was me, I would go with looking for natural options to promote quality of life like he said on the video. My previous dog before I got my current one had a massive tumour in her spleen, arthritis all down her back and her tail to the point where she couldn't wag it, and she had dental problems as well as epilepsy. I decided it was time to put her down and it really broke me. But it was for her best.
On the other hand… It really pisses me off when people just put an animal down for their own convenience. I remember the vet I had back in Australia and he told me that he would have people come into his practice asking them to put their pet down because they were going to Live overseas and couldn't take their pet. So in that instance, when they insisted on putting their pet down, and their pet was perfectly healthy, the vet would charge them the euthanasia fee and then go on to rehome the pet to a good home.
I was told by friend (which was a veterinarian asst) 35 years ago" you are keeping your dog alive for you" she was right

Honestly, its hard but the right thing to do if the animal is suffering and not going to be able to live with any quality of life. My family has had to take in 3 of 5 dogs and one cat over the past 2-3 years (run of bad luck with genetics-related illnesses and simple old age), and one died suddenly at home. The one that was NOT brought to the vet was my boy, and it was only because we had no idea he even had cancer (spleen cancer doesn't really show or have side effects and its damned hard to find unless screening for it - its most often found as an aside during surgeries - it kills in months if not treated somehow and even if it is the prognosis is at most another 4months-1yr). If I had atleast KNOWN that he had cancer, I would have understood what I was seeing was not and arthritis flare-up, and I would have sadly brought him in too, just to save him from the painful last few hours of his life.
(*Few hours because we had home medicine for flare-ups of his arthritis and thought it was just a bad night. Until my mom noticed he wasn't breathing properly, we didn't realize the pain wasn't in his hind-quarters or related to his arthritis at all... and the bleeding internally that killed him was slow enough we didn't see the gums go pale until just before he began to have issues breathing. We were on the phone arranging intake and getting driver of car roused and dressed in a rush to get him to the vet when he left us.
Having seen both, I will ALWAYS advocate for having the strength to save your furfamily AND yourself from the trauma of the sudden death at home (which then you have to transport to the emergency vet for the after death stuff). My sister had to make this call with both her first dogs, two twin chihuahuas that passed around 9 and 10 years old respectively. They were her babies, but the genetic lottery was not kind to her or them. Cushing's took the second one this August, a few months after my boy passed in May... and some sort of brain fungus and a whole host of other infections took her sister last year. The first pup to go was the oldest, a rescued ChiWeenie that was my mom's girl, and she passed of old age (began to seize and was taken in to be given her rest from the pain).
It's so very hard, but it IS the right thing to do when they can no longer have healthy quality of life, and it's not understood enough by so many that this is PART of having animal companions to care for. They can only be here so long, and then they have to go - and sometimes that time is shorter than we would like.

@@bakaichigo oh no, spleen cancer. My last dog had that. We didn't know she had anything wrong though because it doesn't show up. But she had this God awful cough, and we wondered when we found the lump on her spleen whether it was pushing on her other organs. The reason I took her in was because I was going to get her put to sleep anyway because she had epilepsy, dental issues, arthritis that was so bad she couldn't wag her tail any more, and that God awful cough I just mentioned. And in her final exam, the vet found a massive lump on her spleen that he could feel. That was when we worked out what was going on. It is so insidious because it doesn't really show any symptoms Of its own. Looking back now, as painful as it was, I know I did the right thing for her when I put her to sleep. It knocked me about so badly, but it was another 10 years before I was able to get another dog. And the strange thing was, I got my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel the day after the 10th anniversary of my late dog's death. My late dog was a corgi. The other odd thing is that my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel's birthday is the day after my corgis birthday was. Really weird.
My old neighbor told me, "when the dog is in pain, put them to sleep. No more pain for them. You take the pain." Ten years later they still bring flowers to their dogs buried in their backyard 🥲
Mine were all buried too! I don't ever rush it though, I had one for 2 more years pain free died of heart failure. Vets get it wrong.
I believe some pain and suffering is okay, as long as there is sufficient pleasure to compensate for it. I put my dog to sleep at the end of November. She had severe arthritis and could barely walk in the end, but despite her pain and mobility issues, I do believe she enjoyed sitting in the park for hours every day in the summer and part of the fall. When the damp and cold winter weather came around and all that she could look forward to was being bored at home and nothing to distract her from the pain, I made the dreaded decision. It's been three months. I still cry about her and miss her every day.

We have a chuwawa in the neighborhood that comes out in a baby car every day. Fam was like 14 when we moved here, just had a cancer removed from under the spine (why the baby car). 😂That was 4 years ago. That dog is still going.
But I get it, sometimes you wonder how she's doing at home. Anyway, I don't think there's a wrong answer, depending on how you look at it. But I'm sure your dog was loved and happy!
@@henrywong1174 Totally. I pushed my dog in a stroller for about three years, but all this time she was still able to walk enough to keep strong muscles. The arthritis gradually progressed and my dog was gradually in more pain. Eventually we reached a point where she could only walk 5-10 minutes per day and she was in great discomfort. She used to be a vocal and chatty dog, but in the end she became very quiet and withdrawn. It broke my heart. I could have kept on pushing her in the stroller. If she was just paralyzed and not in pain, I would have done that. But I knew she was hurting badly, even when at rest. I didn't think it was a good quality of life to not be able to walk and sniff at all. She is dearly missed. Life is not the same without her.
My little dog gets ill easily. I listen and follow your treatments as much as possible. This last year, I paid around $2000 for her care. They administered 4-5 different antibiotics. I’ve been using alternative/holistic treatments, and she’s doing much better.
I think there is a lot of price gouging in vet clinics, with no cure, just covering the with a bandaid. She’s doing much better, but it’s been a long road to get her healthy. I’ve done a lot of research to help her.

You might consider adding a little colostrum to the food to boost general health and resistance to illness. It's good for us too :)

My boy Claus is on a carnivore diet with me. I cook only in lard. He does occasionally eat a little dry food at night but I don't encourage it.
I had a dog that was diagnosed with high liver enzymes. They put her on drugs and convinced me to take her for a liver biopsy. It was absolutely horrible on her. Then about a year later one of the doctors noticed her high liver enzymes and noted that it really wasn't far out of line as he had seen much much higher numbers with dogs that did okay. I was very very upset. IMO the vet that referred me for the liver biopsy was just supporting her Alma mater.
I had the opposite problem with vets and livers. My first cat went to an diagnosed with a serious liver issue following septicaemia for over two years. They said she had "feline redirected aggression". No testing, nothing. So when diagnostic tests should have been used in order to rule out things like liver disease, they weren't used. They put her on a medication that I later found out was contra indicated for liver issues. Anyway… Long story short… Seeing just about every vet in Hobart where I lived at the time… And being gaslit by more than half of them… I found a holistic vet in Hobart who took one look at my cat and said "She's jaundice." Then, all the testing started. It was long overdue. The other vet had known she had had septicaemia, but finally I had had a vet that took me seriously. Anyway… Long story short… We were able to get her liver back from pretty much the brink… She was dying… Using completely natural and herbal remedies. But the vet was honest with me and said that if her liver did that again she would not survive. He was right. I moved into a house a few years later that unbeknownst to me had rising damp. Mould spores got into her liver and it's played up again and she died. But I had the best relationship with that vet. I moved to New Zealand 10 years ago which is the only reason I no longer see him… The Tasman Sea is between me and him and it makes it a bit hard. Anyway… 10 years down the track I still missed that vet and to this day I have not found a vet that was so good, so honest and so compassionate sense.
What it boils down to is there is literally no discernment about when to and when not to use diagnostic tests. They either routinely use them which causes problems in itself, or they don't use them when they should and I quick to reach for the pills. They are as bad as human doctors.
@@milanka882 Yes they are. When they first start in practice they are all about, oh today we don't give that, or we give this. I am all about, I know the breed, know what it is, and I will do it my way. You have to be harsh and with doctors too. They are useless, good ones retired.
This is one of their favorite diagnoses. They won't do anything until you have the dog on meds for a month and they can retest. I am not saying every case is a problem but the dog is usually stressed at the vets and then they take blood and expect " normal" results. They do not seem to look at the whole picture just 1 symptom. Regular doctors too.
Interesting my dog got screened and had high liver enzymes 336 then 159 and now 145 still elevated. She has no other symptoms is not even 2 yet but talking about a ultrasound after the holidays 😢hmm I think I’m going to pass on that. I did read they could go up with stress! How high were your dogs?
@@jeannegeiger4750 it's been quite a while but if I recall correctly it was 800 and came down to about 600. The doctor told me that wasn't always a big deal said he had seen dogs live just fine with close to 10,000 and he was the only real old-timer there.
Just to clarify those numbers could be baloney since it was about 12 years ago.

I've posted this before, but thank you Dr Jones. My 14yo dog Tinker has reoccurring mast cell cancer. She had surgery for the first occurence, but we decided not to do that again. Thanks to one of your videos I learned about the Joe Tippen protocol. We tried the fenbendazole for a month without any improvement. Tinker was very lethargic and could hardly walk. I decided to add ivermectin and by the 2nd day, we saw a marked improvement. She has been on both for a couple of months now and has lost about 5lbs (needed to) and is as active as she was at 10yo. Without your video and hard work, I am sure Tinker would have passed by now. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!
I really miss my sisters dog, Jake a lovely golden retriever who lived for 12 years, he unfortunately had a cut on his nose that won't close, the vet took a biopsy and it was cancer, I was so grateful to spend my time with him❤
We had a life time long service dog whom we adored like a new born baby.She was 9.
Broke our hearts when we had to put her down due to seizures and cancer.
No sooner we would remove a lump...
more showed up. It was like losing a child. We had her vaccinated. She had allergies, so she got allergy shots and those flea and tic shots ... everything. I know it's been a year since her passing, but it's still so raw. My daughter and mother insisted that I go in volunteer at a dog shelter. My orientation starts after the holidays. I pray it will help thank you for this video.

I’m an RN too! My dog and I don’t do “wellness” visits either. We see the Doc “as needed” (rare occasions). We have better things to do with our precious time!

I feel like I've been screaming at my walls when it comes to the dangers of letting dogs have antler. (And I am guilty of letting my dog chew on antlers in the past). Same for non softened/puffed Yak cheese. As a cheese puff form, only then is it safe.
I was told in no uncertain terms by our doggie dental specialist that no matter the size or breed, it's a matter of WHEN, not if teeth will be broken and / or cracked.
As a general rule of thumb, anything that one can not make a fingernail dent into has zero business being in a dogs mouth. With the exception of soft bones for getting meat off, as you also mentioned.
Everything else on your top 10 NO's as well. 😊🐶🐾
If I stop flea, tick and heart worm what do I use
You can use a tincture of black walnut, wormwood and clove for heartworm and parasites. I'm not sure about the flea and tick. In my area of the country I've found I don't really need anything for my dog who seems to have a strong immune system. I just check him for ticks whenever we've been in the woods and fields. Fleas thrive in humidity. Low humidity kills them if I recall correctly.

Putting my beagle down bc I did not want her to suffer with the cancer was the 2nd hardest things I have ever done but it was about alieviating her pain not mine- plus I had been thru cancer with a beagle a few yrs before and knew how it would all end so I opted for the least suffering for her. Thank you for validating what I knew were difficult but the right decisions.
I know your pain, I am a mess when I have had to do that in the end. They always were and are my world. I did it at home the second time, and glad that was how it was. Buried outside next to my other one.
Impaling the pallet is a real issue to be concerned about. I did it, to myself, as a child, with a toy block. I freak when my dogs grab and run with sticks.
Thank you so much for your compassion and intelligence. We do what we can with what we have to help people and animals, but sometimes it goes against health and nature, that's when we have to stop. It's about knowing when to let go.

Do you have information on natural things to use in place of flea meds, heart worm prevention, etc?
I only use heartworm, it's Ivermectin only. No flea or tick medication, worm once every three months, tablet only. Stopped all vaccines.
This is what I do and my dogs don’t have any issues with fleas or ticks - I feed fresh chopped garlic with the meals; feed food grade diatomaceous mixed in the food. Cedarcide spray is great.
I'm so glad we don't get heartworm in New Zealand. 🇳🇿 as for fleas? Well, I found a natural powder that is made by a New Zealand based company with all natural ingredients. It works really well on our cat. But for some reason, my dog is an absolute flea magnet and nothing I tried naturally would keep them away. She is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and she ended up with a massively infestation. Also, she can't have the topical flea treatments as they give her skin problems and she's got dodgy skin… Like me. In the end, we had to give her an oral flea treatment to get rid of it. I would love to be able to not give her the next dose come February, but I'm not holding my breath. That flea infestation was horrible. She just wouldn't stop scratching and I got flea dirt for Africa out of her when I ran the flea comb through her. We could see fleas all over her. And nothing we tried that was natural worked. I so hope and pray that one day, I will be able to use and control fleas on her naturally. I really don't like over using these fleet prevention treatment.

@@jeannegeiger4750 I've never been told or heard not to give garlic - onions and onion powder are always a no from every vet and dog professional I ever spoke with, but garlic was never discouraged. It's actually in a number of the advices to use garlic powder (in moderation) to increase the smell of food if doggo is being picky about food. It's also in a lot of natural dog treats. Not sure if there's any healthy benefits for dogs to eat garlic, but I don't believe its harmful. Our dogs don't get gassy or have any issues eating things with garlic, so long as the garlic is either dusted on moderately or fresh (cooked or oily garlic can cause issues due to the oils or seasonings in cooking, so we don't feed it if its in our food).

My 13 year old Lab mix was recently diagnosed with her 3rd cancerous tumor, Sarcoma. It was removed. The Veterinary Cancer specialist told me that the reason the tumors keep coming back is because she should've had intralesional chemo or radiation after her 1st tumor was removed, which was last year April 2022. Then we discovered a 2nd one, same spot, and that one too was removed. I never knew about her needing chemo or radiation. It was never mentioned to me. All I was told was that the biopsy report showed clean margins, and I was told the same for the 1st and 2nd tumor removal biopsy reports. She's done amazingly well through all these surgeries.She loves her food, treats and walks. To think that I rescued her at only 6 weeks, and she's about to turn 14😢 It's been almost 2 weeks since she had the 3rd tumor removed. Will be going for a consultation with the Animal Oncologist specialist. What is your opinion about Sarcoma tumors and the recommendation the Cancer specialist suggested for my dog?

I'm so glad I discovered you about a year ago! I found you after my 2nd dog started having seizures after getting a 3-years rabies shot. I changed so much in the care of both of my dogs. No flea and tick meds, raw diet, supplements, etc. My female was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in April. After the vet talked about the surgery, it sounded like she's very likely to die on the table. We decided to not move forward and just giving her the best care and life possible. I can honestly say after watching your videos and changing her care, she acts more like a puppy today than before the cancer. Even my epileptic is happier and moving better today than when he was first diagnosed with epilepsy. We can't seem to be more than 4 weeks seizure free, but I'm considering reducing his medication instead of increasing it. I wish you were my vet from the get go!

Both procedures ARE TOTALLY BARBARIC and unethical. I use to work at a Veterinary Clinic so I've seen first hand and many times I left the room crying and sick to my stomach.

Have you heard of a stomach bug/ flu that is transmittable to dogs? A friend of mine mentioned her neice got the crazy stomach flu going around, and both her pugs got it and one actually died from the stomach virus. The vet said animals are catching it currently.

There is a dog flu. Our 3 dachshunds had it December 2022. It is very contagious among dogs. Thankfully, they did recover.
Gain Of Function....they're coming for our fur babies as well.

After the initial basic immunizations we only ever did the rabies vaccine as there is no way to avoid it. But I agree on everything that was said here. Especially also the prolonging life part. We all want our dogs to live forever, but the hardest part of love is knowing when to let go, and then actually DO IT.

Me too...same here. Mosquitoes are bad in Florida. My kid is an inside dog so I avoid Spring/Summer walks at dusk or at dawn when they are most active....that helps.😊

The obsession with high liver enzymes cost my parents $$. Yep, liver biopsy too. Then the same clinic( franchise) tried to say the dog didn't have a record of the biopsy a few years later. Luckily I was there since my mom was being scared into another biopsy. I made them find the record( vet was very contrary). Needless to say the dog is still having fun 10 yrs later with no " intervention ". The last vet sent my dad home with one of the most toxic flea meds and had also hammered this little chihuahua with vaccinations. I dumped the $$flea meds( inside dog and has no fleas) immediately. Taking advantage of my elderly parents is unethical. The little dog did not feel too well after that visit either.
