- Join me as I head to Adventure Island in Southend-on-Sea for a day full of awesome rides and roller coasters! In this vlog I share on ride POV's from all of the major rides at the park including Rage, Axis, Green Scream and many more Adventure Island favourites. Along with that I experience the park in the dark and capture the electric atmosphere of this awesome seaside amusement park!

I absolutely love how everyone around you is screaming in fear and you’re just sat there on axis like “yeah so it’s supposed to brighten up later and this has a great light package” like you’re sipping a cup of tea 😂

If i ever on planet earth had enough courage to get on axis I would be screaming until my left lung collapsed, yet you are calmly speaking to the camera and talking about the weather. I have an annual pass to adventure island and the biggest ride I can manage is rage!

are you going to the seaside
Used to love my visits to my grand-parents who lived just across from the airport, there in the sixties. My Dad would take my to 'Peter Pans playground' and the 'Golden Hind. When I got a little older into the Kursaal. Still love coasters now, even though I'm in my sixties!

I love how adventure vile is like an of brand version of small world in Disney but adventure vile will always have a place in my heart
I go to Southend every year with my dad and come here, I’m going this weekend. I always come to adventure island I love it!!
I came here in the summer and had a blast!!! Definitely one of the UK parks that people should visit

Across from the park was a major attraction of my childhood called "Never Never Land" there is still a remnant of it in the form of a castle. You would have loved it, it had so much character!
My dad refuses to call adventure island and he calls it “Peter pans playground”.

I live in Southend about 5 mins from the park! I haven't been for years but after watching your vlog I'm going there Saturday! Can't wait ☺️☺️

I think I’ve been to this park so many times and I love it everytime
Set with my friend to visit here again on Tuesday. I’m not a huge rides person (got some sort of phobia for some reason) so I’m here for a hype up
They are great rude and staff are lovely x

Another amazing vlog from Shawn! I’d just like to say I have been watching and enjoying your videos for a few years, but only selective videos (if that makes sense)... I liked watching the videos you would upload only of theme parks I have been too, to see how they have changed and to get nostalgic feelings. However, now, for a few months, I have watched every single vlog you have uploaded! I can’t live without Theme Park Worldwide and you have kickstarted my love for theme parks again! I have developed anxiety over rollercoasters and flat rides breaking down or faults (when I was younger I would always go on every single ride)... but recently I have been back on a number of rollercoasters and I push myself to the max all because of you and Charlotte! I’ve even learnt many things, like what SPF is haha! Love you guys so much and thank you for putting a smile of everyone’s faces! ❤️ p.s I’m so so so happy Charlotte replied to my Needles Needles Needles video ❤️

This has got to be the best value for money park in the UK. Sure, it hasn't got the knockout coasters that you get at the bigger parks but it looks to have fantastic flat rides but with such minimal queing you can really get your money's worth by packing in so many rides per hour. And it's got that really nice classic colourful seaside amusement park feel as well and the family coasters look pretty fun.
Time Machine looks amazing, lots of great looking rides there

Because it is a lovely view I would solely go on it for the view of the sea I had an annual pass for adventure Island for about 4 to 5 years recently cancelled because they redesigned over the hill which was my favourite ride to be more child friendly by taking out the fake exit jump-scare and got rid of devil's creek besides I've been on every single ride multiple times and it got boring after a while there are only 2 rides I actually went on which were Rage and Axis but its great for younger kids I mean I'm quite local so I go to Southend quite a lot so I guess because I see it every day I get tired of it but if you ever do go to adventure island you have to visit the sealife center aswell
@@unknownshadow6814 oh i remember the old over the hill, i especially liked the part where it told you to get off in a “fake” station and then skeletons would jump out, but sadly it has become more for little kids now

It is one of my favourite theme park when I was young hope to go there again soon

I remember when I 1st ever went to Southend on sea adventure island in 2004 school trip that rollercoaster ride 2.54 it used to be a log ride memories I miss that ride
Plus it's all changed since then
when i went on ramba zamba one of the staff did rock paper scissors and i won😏

Ahh rage the first ride I went on with an inversion it was this park that made me become an enthusiast
I been here same month it was nice for a beech trip if I could I would stay and see lighting package enjoy!!
I went last Saturday! the queues where massive but it was so fun, I went on axis for my first time and I was so scared. But it was worth it!

I remember going on the Whip at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the 19990s
Rage leaves me with a feeling of: " it's so close to being an awesome ride". For me it just needs a taller height to really appreciate the drop on these eurofighters.

I do agree with you there it's missing something and I also hink it needs to be taller and longer. It leaves me underwhelmed everytime but it's still a good ride

The park is certainly developing
Yeah there working on a remodel currently it's a long process it started with taking out the huge ship in the centre which is now an indoor area with arcades and soft play
I want to go the the UK and visit this park at some point in my life!
Haven’t been here since 2005, I had a complete freakout on Beezely Bob’s Trail (now over the hill) and I didn’t ride a dark ride for 3 years

It’s a fantastic amusement park!
Not many people know this with the crooked house but there’s so many puns in the attraction, for example in the last scene there’s a toy rollercoaster set and it’s the same layout as rage

I don’t expect a small park like this to have a pretty substantial coaster
I don’t think many people do as this is one of the theme parks when whenever you go all the rides are pretty much walk on

I am gonna be honest with you, in regards to Spooksville, yes it’s a shame they removed a few of the old features from the original like the fake ending and a lot of the 3d theming, but when you think about it, considering what they are working with, they did a great job on Spooksville, it’s a smaller seaside amusement park and what they managed to pack into that ride in my opinion is amazing! Spooksville remains one of my favourite dark rides in the uk even after the re theme. :)
