i often go to adventure island most weekends and in this it just looks like a tiny park but really its quite big, with two separate parts of the park and this wasnt all of it plus the rides are big
I'm looking for something to do with my two grandchildren. Thanks for documenting all the rides, something there for both my grandkids . Really appreciate you both doing the small rides as one of my grandchildren is young. You just sold four tickets to the park. I assume the spoons you mentioned was "The Last Post". Whenever it was a boring/quiet night out in Southend we would say we are going to "The Last Resort".

I used to visit here in the '80s when it was called Peter Pan's Playground and only occupied the western side of the pier. Hopefully one day they'll get an airtime coaster like a woodie, Gerstlauer bobsled or Mack mega-lite. Even better than Adventure Island was Never Never Land, which was across the road. It was like a mini Blackgang Chine with illuminated castles and walk-through fairytale scenes.

Just watched the last few days blogs from you guys loved them all and I have to say you bring asked to open the waltz made my year I was so proud shawn and when you were on the ride was so funny all of the places looked fab I remember going on the snail rides years ago will have to do it again and Charlotte is alot braver than me going on that swinging ride and the water rides beautiful name bless her thankyou my lovelies can't wait for your next ones safe journey home xx

I was there back in July, there's quite a difference between the two big wheels in there, I always love it in there, on adventurevile on the 2nd lap, I go bananas when the let's party bit happens. 5:53
The Crooked House is a very Weird Fun house attraction and similar to the one at Blackgang Chine when you went in 2018 and you saw the woman and went Ooh Hello 😂
Love to know what you both do in the winter lol , I don't need to know personal stuff , however you must have a break and take in indoor shows , whatever keep smiling be dry , warm and safe and happy cheers both x
Shawn and Charlotte, I noticed that the ride attendants seem to be having as much fun as the riders. they aren't just zombies, standing expressionlessly . Still miss belezee bob trail... it wasnt scary, even when i was a kid but i loved it. It was a favourite for me at adventure island. Just the vibrant colours whilst still being spooky and the soundtrack... was so saddened to see it go :(

Adventure Island, in my opinion, has the best staff in the uk - they all go out of there way to make sure you have a great time - yes it doesn't have the best rides but when staff make you feel great on a consistent basis that goes a long way 😀
This was my childhood theme park as I lived close by. Made so many good memories at that park but honestly hurts to see rides like 'Spooksville' take over from Over the Hill and previously before that the beloved Beelzeebub. From the theme of crooked house and the spooksville it really seems like they have put low budget into these rides with the almost cardboard sets. So sad to see
Hello Shawn and Charlotte, I am planning a trip here in February and I am was just wondering about the camera policy because on their website it says that all on ride filming is prohibited although you managed to get on ride POVs. Did you get special permission from the park to film on ride or is the website outdated? Thank you, love the videos!
Why can these smaller theme parks can open till late yet those parks like drayton manor and alton towers cant,would it not give everyone a better chance to get on a ride as sometimes you wait 60 mins but if you had longer openings it wouldn't matter.
It's crazy how these small amusement parks have longer opening hours to the major theme parks in the UK

There’s something really charming about the old Ferris wheel, the way it’s sandwiched between the two coasters. I hope they keep it.
It's always so funny to hear Shawn referred to the ride as Dodge'ems....where I grew up it's called Bumper Cars. My favourite ride as a kid.

I was just on Facebook and I saw some images of the workers sorting out the new 38 metre drop tower and I am so excited!
