In Undertale you can choose Pacifist or Genocide, but what if instead it was a fight between the two? With Undertale Together's Multiplayer, my friend and I competed to see if I could spare more monsters than he could kill. So if there are two humans who want different things, who will win in the battle between Pacifist and Genocide?

I have a interestig idea based on a theory
The two players will have different button one hate and other reset
Reset need hate to work
And hate need reset to work
So they have to stay together even though they have different goals
If Papyrus gets you down to 1 HP, he'll end the battle and take you to the Shed, and if you go back to him and repeat this a few times, he'll give you a dialogue option to skip the battle entirely.
I don't know if the mod would complicate this, like if Papyrus checks for one or both players at 1 HP, but in case only one player has to be low, I think it's worth a try, intentionally getting hit to potentially lose and skip the battle, thus sparing Papyrus.
if a player is at 1 hp then papyrus is just going to send that player to a bone jail inside the battle

@@Top5EsoTilinCaptadosEnCamara Hmm, well, since the Pacifist strategy is just lasting enough turns for Papyrus to give up, there's nothing else Mystic could really do, so they might as well get captured and hope Weger loses too.

I love how mystic entirely forgets about betrayal kills, which are basically unavoidable.
In the Toriel fight it was impossible for you to win since if you hit her after you spare her, her dialogue resets
Imagine how all of the monsters feel, you are encountered by two children, one of them is super nice to you and the other one is desperately shoving sharp objects into you, that would be wild
If you never found out, the bone box in the Papyrus fight traps the player who ends up at 1HP. They do eventually get brought back like normal.

Yea if they are in the box eventually they will heal and be taken out of the box back into the battle
I did realise that since papyrus is the only monster that doesn’t kill you

I thought of this when I first heard about undertale multiplayer but always found it hard for the genocide side since you need to grind for the required monsters and the pacifist player can just leave the room before you encounter a monster. Neutral yes but full genocide is impossible if both players are determined to do opposite paths
No, the genocide player simply needs to refuse to progress unless the monsters are killed.
It is impossible for a true any side to win as a result.
Pacifist player can also refuse the genocide player by leaving before anything gets encountered until they gives up. Also even if they don't leave most monsters take two hits to kill unless in the first room in the ruins and within those two hits the pacifist player can just flee letting neither of them winning then just one winning.
Same can be said for pacifist since you need to keep everyone alive and need to be friends woth everyone and the genocide player could not allow the pacifist player go to certain places (like undyne’s house) so the only realistic outcome is neutral

Pacifist player can spare all of the dogs in snowdin in only two turns if you use the stick, which could help to stop the genocide player from leveling up as much in that area

It's kinda funny how many betrayal kills the turn order sets up.
as soon as i saw how the turn order works i knew Toriel would not be spared (either she died normally or she died from a betrayal kill) she could not have been spared like that
In the Papyrus fight the souls that "die" get captured and put into that bone box instead of dying.
Fun fact
Attacking toriel within the first few spares makes you have to redo the done spares

Why are you getting a pacifist point during the race when you clearly destroyed Weger?
This was a pretty good video; but I'd like to say that I feel like this would be a way more interesting match with random turn order (or like, alternating turn 1's or something) considering how big of an advantage first turn is for most enemies.
You know what they say. “Murder is hard in the beginning, but if u keep fighting Undyne over and over again, you will prevail…..until the endgame.”

Reminds me of a minecraft/undertale roleplay I watched a few years ago. For the life of me I can’t remember what the creator was called, but I know the series was deleted. Watching this brought back a wonderful feeling of nostalgia for the series

With the torial fight if you don’t get 3 spares in a row before fighting the spare progress goes to 0

The best way to spare papyrus would be to purposefully keep taking damage until papyrus gives up and let’s you through, thwarting the evildoer lmao

Considering kris and frisk are probably the same person at different ages (literally identical rgb values for skin and hair) it’s kinda odd to have them be the characters but atleast it makes sense time wise

Sparing Toriel would have NEVER worked as when she fully stops fighting, and starts begging for you to stay, an attack will 1-hit kill her

You know that you can flee most of the fights?
And Toriel is one hit in the emotional scene.
And last, when you eat a spider donut in the Muffet fight you can skip the fight completely.
