Between the Sorento and the Hyundai Santa Fe, which do you think has brighter headlights and better illumination? That is my main criteria, but I do not have the option to test drive at night, given that the dealerships here close before it gets dark.
Range on full electric for PHEV is 50 Km or less, charging only on AC at maximum 3.4 kW. I know this because I own this car. I was fooled a little by these kind of fake... ish presentations of the new Santa Fe. Don't get me wrong, I was just like the majority of you, I thought the car, especially the back! a complete failure, but I have changed my mind when I saw it in reality, pictures and videos don't do any justice to the car. I know it looks like a Rover, or at least it tries, but it is a Hyundai. I won't praise the car, there are better cars out there, no doubt, but for the price you get a lot for a family car, because this is what it is. It's very spacious and this is the main reason I bought it. If there are things I like about this car the first is the space is offering, then it comes all the safety features for driving, and position of driving in regards to the road is giving very good field of view. The car can be driven on long distances very comfortably and without getting too tired, but if you really want to know more about the car consult a dealer and book a drive test!
The turn signals at the back are still in a bad place, which are hard to see (maybe? 🤔) because the led strip is thin). This is a (-) criticism of the Hyundai car manufacturer!.😡 😡
Its very bright. Just like the g20 bmw, its a thin strip but its so bright that it doesnt matter that its thin. Also the lower mounting point only matters if you are in bumper to bumper traffic and you go too close begind a santa fe. But you shouldnt go that close anyway, because if an ambulance comes you cant move out of the way because you are too close to the car in front of you. The things listed are only concerns of americans all the time, because they have an ancient rule about not requiring an X amount of indicator light output, but an illuminated area, which made sense in the bulb times, but not now. But people are indoctrinated that the rule is good, and every country on earth except them is stupid... because they have too big of an ego to admit and change a bad law. Also they are the only species to not give way to ambulances in congested traffic, and they always stop 20cm far behind the car in front of them, in their lifted trucks so they cant see the indicator (which is the brake/tail for them) but at that point it doesnt even matter. Trust me, EU light regulations are the safest on earth, if its good for the regulations, its good for you. Also dont follow a santa fe so close you cant see his indicators. They are not lower than an mx5, than a construction style ford transit or a transporter/crafter doka lights... They have plenty good brightness, and plenty big enough, thick enough, and bright. The illuminated are is good as well. Way better than an old incandescent bulb was. And way better than the taillight/brakelighr/indicator combo lights that americans use
It looks awesone, finally something different. The piano black roof rails will get scratched almost immediately once you use them
Nice video,and nice car,thank Dan!
