Great comparison review. I don’t think anybody else has compared these two vehicles before. I’ve seen comparisons of the Palisade and Telluride, and the Santa Fe and Sorrento, but not the Santa Fe and Palisade.
I have the 2025 S. F. Limited hybrid and oh my God, I am in love!! I have three boys and they said so comfortably in the second row. I definitely wanted the third row just in case, but they love it! I love everything about my Santa Fe. Idk how I would feel about the lower trim models though
I am still driving a 2016 Sante Fe Limited. I love the luxury of mine but hate that it squalls tires if I have to make a quick U-turn (which I do every day to get into my office in traffic.) My previous Sante Fe was a 2001 AWD. It drove much more like a SUV than my current one. I am considering a new Sante Fe but I do not want another SUV that drives like a car. Would I need to get AWD in this to get what I want or does this newer design respond better to quick take offs and turns? I don't see that the interior of the Palisade offers enough extra riding space to warrant going to a bigger vehicle that gets lower gas mileage. I like the more posh seating of the Palisade over this Sante Fe but that is about it.
I would say the AWD will use more gas so your mpg number will be down. The car will feel a tad bit more sturdy due to the awd system, I always tell my viewers to go with awd because it is very help when needed.
Based on what I've seen so far from unofficial photos of the 2026 Hyundai Palisade, it could offer an even stronger comparison to the Santa Fe. The Palisade’s interior redesign looks impressive, and its exterior shares a similarly bold shape with the new Santa Fe.
I had a 2002 Santa Fe that I LOVED and drove for 12 years. Looking to get a new SUV and have been trying to decide between the Santa Fe and the Palisade. I wish you had told us your opinion of driving the two. After watching this video, I think I have decided.
I’m speaking of when palisade is due for a refresh. This is a model in due need of a refresh. I believe 2025-2026, not exactly sure when we will see them on the lot.
We have a 2023 Hyundai Sonata SEL, and thinking about upgrading to the 2025 Hyundai Santa FE SEL. We have 3 boys and our oldest who is 14 years old is already 6 feet tall, so once we figure out our finances and see what Hyundai is willing to do, since we are still paying on the Sonata, we will be getting the Santa FE, It looks like its a really nice vehicle, and just $5,000 more then what we financed the sonata.
Santa Fe ! It looks like a Ford flex with droopy tail lights! The palisade looks like it’s not trying to be a Ford flex And I don’t care for either! But I enjoy your videos that’s why I subscribed!
pretty sure palisade goes to 4cyl in 26. who thought the light gray/white trim wheel and seats was a good idea? the carnival looks much more refined inside
I tell you either one of these would blow out the Volkswagen atlas the GMC Arcadia Acura RTX pretty much everything in it segment if it would just offer an extra hundred horsepower
If you looking for a third row car that you gonna use a lot dont get the santa fe has zero space in the third row, also come on you can't compare the palisade with this square car 100% palisade beat the santa fe specially with the old fashion v6 engine new turbo engine are garbage
Great reviews my friends. I can see you care a lot about what you are doing and good editing is always a plus.
Thanks greatly. Compliments to Sandu because he is such a stickler for that.

Thanks!! Glad we can be the only unicorns haha!

Well you did get the one with the bells and whistles and I always tell people get it because it is so much nicer!
get rid of the wet dual clutch on SF and it would win hands down
Thanks for your input.

Nice! Waiting to see it!

What was your choice??
@@VagabondBuilds yeah, the choice mannn
Palisade hands down!
Nice!
What updated version of the Palisade are you talking about? The 2026 model, or are they already updating the 2025?

Good luck! I like the new look better.
My 24 palisade calligraphy has touched control. 😅 why they change it again 😢
So you like the touch control?
Because you have the Calligraphy version and not the base model. Nothing changed

Appreciate the support and interaction.. well taken here.
No wireless car play on the Palisade is a no go for me. Also, i hate that Hyundai didn't update the steering wheel and interface
Other people would say different, that’s why I say it comes down to preference. So many options out there. What would you buy otherwise?
@@VagabondBuilds I may wait until the 2026 Palisade model comes out.
We got sure will get the reviews in with what is new.

Are you a fan of the 4 cylinder…
Who can give the palisade as a present? I am having a wedding soon.
Haha haha someone rich! Haha
I can give you…. A ride in mine!
It looks like a Ford flex with droopy tail lights!
Didn’t see it…
I tell you either one of these would blow out the Volkswagen atlas the GMC Arcadia Acura RTX pretty much everything in it segment if it would just offer an extra hundred horsepower
That would be a tough one.
Santa Fe needs the bigger engine. Then it would be great!
Like many new cars and I agree.
The Palisade does not have wireless Apple and android audio! USB plug in only!
Yes you are right. Sorry for the mistake 😅 was the video helpful at all?
I have a 2021 Santa Fe. Not a fan of "The Box" look of the new one. And those weird looking gimmicky lights!
I actually like it more. Many manufacturers are going towards more boxier look.
Both are ok…
Which one would you pick?

Santa Fe….DOG BONES 🦴 🦴 front/tail lights 😂😅 …every time i see them on the highway i laugh at these lights…
Haha you must like dogs haha
