- This episode is a fun one, and if you've not blasted through Titanfall 2, we recommend you should! It's about 4 hours long and £3 on LOTS of platforms. A real rollercoaster of a game. We go in depth on each stage of the game which is an unusual format for us but the game is so short its possible here.

The skill ceiling of the movement is so high in this game, slidehopping around and just managing to weave through buildings without bumping your head and maintaining momentum is so satisfying

3:41 it dose use source physics for the pilot movement this results in alot of movement tech invented in older source games being present in both

Titanfall 2 goes on sale for $3 a lot, definitely worth picking up next sale. Also makes people make theories that they will make titanfall 3, because of how much it goes on sale for haha. Definitely love the movement shooter aspects, but also love when they're not afraid to make things chaotic like introducing a thing and not explaining fully explaining how it works, leaves a lot up to imagination and to learn. Short and sweet campaign. the game also reminds me of half life one a little bit, like how non-standard it is, also that part with the moving houses was awesome, reminds me of portal a lot very clean linear game though, lots of shooting as the objective, it would be nice if there were more puzzles
The fact that "Patreon has a free trial" saved you guys from hosting an 'illegal lottery' for the Elden Ring DLC code is quite funny, considering there has been some drama around that lately. I love 'Titanfall 2' and 'Apex Legends'. Nice video, I came here from the MumboJumbo/skate video, that I just got in my recommended, and I recognized that voice. I love what you guys are doing and cool idea for a channel!
I knew very little about this game but watched you guys play on the discord and was quite entertained. Solid game. Cracked the top 10 which is a pretty big accomplishment at this point based off some of the games that are on the list.
BT actually stands for "Bravo Tango", and lastamosa says that in the start of the game, but i could imagine that in initial development the devs made it "Buddy Titan" and then changed it to "Bravo Tango" later, as "Buddy Titan" would be sort of silly for such a serious campaign.
"Bravo tango" is just phonetic alphabet (pilot/military letters) for BT, it's not what that actually stands for
@@thenonchalantzealot1000 No that is what BT in "BT-7274" stands for. Lastamosa tells you that in the start of the game, and the wiki says that.
Really enjoyed this episode, I'm so happy Titanfall 2 has received the praise it deserves.

I've not played FPS games much, but the level ideas in the campaign here do seem really cool! I'll definitely recommend it to friends who are into Apex Legends and played Overwatch loads and that. And I always love learning about the development history of these games, so thank you for continuing to discuss interesting points about it throughout these episodes!

This is the first game I got to 100% achievements, I've always found it amazing.
I joined the party a little late with Titanfall 2 and live in new Zealand (yes we use Sydney servers) so it's good to know my favourite game of all time got top ten!
The only thing i would say for effect and cause is that when you kill or damage anything in the past version it appears broken in the future version. But yeah, it looks like a good placement. Love the game its one of my absolute favourites, despite how respawn has treated it since.
I cry everytime i see BT die.

I think Titanfall 2 is the only campaign I have ever played twice. My only complaint with it was how easy the game is even on the hardest difficulty. Awesome its on the list!

In the game's timeline, you always were going to go back in time and disrupt the arc, that's why it's destroyed. They couldn't do your concept of destroying something in the past to use in the future because if that were the case, when you arrive everyone would still be alive. the facility wouldn't be destroyed because you haven't gone back in time to do it yet, which would ruin the whole idea that the mission is built around, where you reconstruct the events that lead to the facilities destruction unknowing to the fact that it was your fault.
The smart pistol is an emergency weapon with low power. it's used when you can no longer fire higher calibre weapons out of injury, which is safe to assume if your titan is damaged to the point where you're having to crack about its head open for a gun. you can aim, but the power is reduced to nothing, imagine taking on a titan with a smart pistol. the whole point is that BT's emergency kit is the last card up his sleeve because he's a vanguard class titan and isn't a stolen IMC chassis, so they don't know about the data core or the smart pistol.
I get it, the story isn't very interesting and maybe throughout my 6+ playthroughs of the game, I just pick up on things the average player wouldn't care about, but the things you say don't make sense were explained if you give it a closer look haha
I cant even count how many times i have played titanfall 2 campaign, so excited for this one 👍🏻

A truly underrated gem and it sucks that it didn’t sell as much as they wanted and it seems now we will never get titanfall 3 because they have shifted all there energy into apex and milking it dry with trying to get people to spend as much money as possible.

quite a lotta 2's on the Top 10.....
In my humble opinion, if this game had ranking system, if new pilots could learn how to play against other pilots of their level, they would stick around more. But no, new pilots are going against the veterans and get absolutely shredded.
My firs hours of multiplayer, after the campaign were absolutely awful. The great issue I have with this game is the pilot gameplay. They are too powerful. Range issue with the smgs, that they primarily use is non existent with their mobility. Veterans just keep mowing these noobs down without a chance for them to retaliate. Most of these pilots are not as stubborn as I am, so they quit.
This game has no new content since 2017 and players just get bored with the same game state. By steam player count, you might say this game is dead but its not. There are thousands of pilots that have this game but don't think its worth it to play the stale game with nothing new to offer. But alas, this game will never get new content because EA thinks its better to shove money towards moblie gaming apps.
Titanfall 3 turned into Apex legends, a mistake they probably now regret...
