I just ended my TH-cam channel as well. I respect any creator that manages to make it to the 10 year mark. The only way to last as a creator is to avoid obsessing over video performance and analytics

Definitely excited for you! I’ve been a sub for almost 5 years now and I can tell you’re working hard. I’ve definitely been seeing that flood of creators retiring, but much like you’re doing now I’m also seeing creators rebrand and shift their content to different things that truly reignites their passion and fervor for life and content creation. There’s this subtle wave of creators that are finding themselves in a new way.
Whether you retire or not, I can tell just as a viewer your interests and talking points are shifting and it’s very exciting to see. At the end of the day it really does come down to what you are saying in finding what you feel your purpose is and pursuing it and I must say as one of your few lady viewers it’s great seeing the positive impact you are having on young men. For example, even the simple tip from you that I've been following for long, ie using a separate towel for wiping the face. There are many other such things like this. Most importantly, my basic fashion sense is heavily inspired by you still to this date.

Alex, since I started watching your videos I became more productive and you really gave me hope that anything is possible. I started reading more, I began changing my clothing style so I will look my best, I began taking more care of myself. Even if it's been a short period of time since I started watching your videos, you really do matter and you really do make people see life differently, in a better way. Don't give up. Even if you come up with the same ideas in a new video talking about the same thing you did a couple of years ago, it does not matter. You are amazing and I appreciate you for it!

Alex, nem sou de comentar muito no yt e n sei se vc vai chegar a ler esse comentário, mas só queria salientar q vc é uma inspiração pra mim e esse vídeo me lembrou disso, te assisto desde a época do CoD e entre um lapso de tempo e outro, voltei a ver quando vc deu um rebranding no canal, inicialmente eu assistia mais como um meio de exercitar meu inglês, mas a cada vídeo eu notava que aquele Alex, de lá atrás, munido de novas experiências, tinha se tornado um líder/"irmão mais velho" ainda maior. Hey Alex, great video. For some long time now, I’ve been thinking of getting into modelling. Whether is fitness or commercial or anything. Everyone tells me I have the look but I’m only 5’9, 5,10, on a good day lol. I’ve tried so long but been putting it off also. I think this year I’m just gonna get some headshots in and try to find an agent and see where it takes me.
From a supporter perspective and thinking that one day our favorite creator could retire is really sad to think about but it's the creator's decision at the end of the day. I hope you stay for how ever long you want because the knowledge you teach us about fashion or just helping ourselves be a better person in life is always helpful.
