You can adjust it from minus 2 to plus 2. What what light sensor is this? The interior lights? The head lights? The sensitivity of the auto dipping high beams? Which is it? Looked through the manual and can not find this

@Two Chaps - the display that you show at the 0:36 sec. mark shows the lower of the two boxes as arrows pointing to the charging/engine running/engine charging etc. situation. I mistakenly touched that part of the screen and lost that particular display and it was replaced by another display showing mpg and miles to run with the present fuel load. How do I get back to the original display please? I've searched the user guide and I can't see any reference to that problem. I've even tried to switch everything off, get out of the car, lock the doors and unlock the doors and start everything up again, but all to no avail. Please would you let me know how I can return that original charging/discharging flow diagram back onto the lower window? Thanks.
How do you use the Estore as well. And what apps are on there for the car? Don't really understand why you need apps installed directly on the car when you have android auto anyway...
I have the new Suzuki Swace, which is really the Toyota Corolla, it has the touch two system, but no satnav, it has the maps button, do you know if you can buy the go system to upgrade the device
Hi there , enjoyed that very informative video on the Sat Nav Can I please ask for your advice on an unrelated matter , namely driving a Toyota Corolla Hybrid Icon Tech 2020 in France . RAC and AA etc list Headlight Deflectors as one of the essential requirements for European travel . Traditionally i have always bought Eurolites Stick- On deflectors for all my previous ( non Toyota ) cars However i find the Eurolites deflector positioning diagram hard to relate to the actual headlamp ( s) so i went to my Toyota dealership for advice They tell me that beam deflectors are not necessary as the LED lights have a flatter beam and will not dazzle oncoming vehicles . The AA /RAC do not indicate that LED headlamps are exempt , and potentially i could be fined by the police if stopped ? I would welcome your view on this . Thanks .

I know for a fact that the excel trim has extra interior lighting. Which glows blue when the headlights are on and its dark. Whether you can turn it off or adjust it.....Let me take a look later today

Silly question but can't seem to get the map option. Get a message saying navigation not available. Tried installing Touch2 but that doesn't work and when going to WiFi I only have option to turn WiFi on or off and can't connect to hotspot. What am I missing?!

Good question. So. I have found that it wont let you switch off the car and listen to music if it has been running. But if you start the ignition without your foot in the break pedal. It'll work
have just taken possesion of my corolla, same model as yours GR Sport, just a quick question partialy related to the last bit in your vid. android auto needs phone plugged into the usb port just beneath the centre screen, my question is this, if I put a pendrive in the usb port in the centre console, will it play? it does if I plug it into the same one as for android auto??
@@TwoChapsMotoring does not seem to work if you plug it into the one in centre console. funnily tho.....when you look at the audio sources it does state USB1 & USB2 ??????
Do you already have Android Auto installed on your Infotainment? I ask this because pre-2020 cars do not have Android Auto installed. I also have a 2019 corolla and have had to pay £100 at a Toyota dealer to have this app installed on my Infotainment system! :-/

Absolutely there is an app called MyToyota. Which you can connect your car to the phone. It tells you mpg, driver score, how long you were in electric mode! Its awesome .
Good point. It took them long enough to get Android auto in the cars..... they'll have to invest and upgrade the tech sooner rather than later. Having Android in the car was a deal breaker for me
Hi , I have returned my car to the dealership as I can not hear the speed camera warnings sound at all. They say it is working and it is my hearing. I have a slight hearing impediment but it does not stop me hearing all the other warning sounds from the media centre. Do you know of any way to increase the sound for speed camera' warnings? My car is the Corolla HB 2ltr GR Sport . 2022 But it has the mediacentre as in this video.
You don't go into enough detail on how to set a destination. I was quickly looking at this for a friend who couldn't make head nor tail of it, and I too found it baffling. It's a horrible unintuitive interface, and that's why I'm here. Sadly, I didn't find any answers.

Disappointing after using Fords sinc3. Very slow and map lacks detail. Unable to customise Poi's. Gives 3 route options when setting route which quickly disappear before you get the chance to select one. When entering postcodes you have to insert the gap or it won't recognise post code. All together a bit disappointing.

when i use the navigation on the car, the screen does not automatically chase the arrow (as the car is moving). Can we fix that?

I cant get my toyota online working and k cant download any apps. It just says error code 0 or 500. Can u show how to install apps
