I think Salmon fishing in November should be restricted to the first week only, max. The salmon in this vid is extremely coloured, tartan looking, almost spent and really just need to be left alone to carry on the with its spawning journey. I am a 64 year old salmon angler myself and wisdom and experience now tells me that we shouldn't be fishing for these late/spawning ready salmon. Tight lines for 2025

As it says in the title this fish was caught in the middle of October.
I definitely agree with what you said though, I wouldn’t personally fish for salmon after first week of November.
Let them do their thing..

I have to agree, maybe even the end of October. No real back end run like yesteryear and there were redds being cut in late October this year. The fish need leaving to there business
