Just seeing someone so happy, and excited, about video game stuff; makes me happy. Video games aren't just a hobby or something to pass the time. They are part of our lives. They bring us joy. Thanks for sharing your passion.
XC3 is my game of the year. It feels like they have really excelled themselves this time over. The story, battle system, music. Everything seems perfect for me
I finally bought Skyrim on Wednesday. The reason I bought this game is that I finally achieved my license and was able to drive myself to my local Gamestop. I have had an overwhelming fear of driving since I obtained my permit and was behind the wheel myself. When the opportunity to drive was avalible, I always refused the offer. Because I received my license and I thought it was a big moment for me, I decided to get a big game like Skyrim to celebrate the big accomplishment.
The other wrinkle is Simon Belmont is actually Megaman. He moonlights as the other character! Simon Belmont is UberLyft driver of videogame characters and covertly play a lot of characters... more than Mario. Simon's Tetris block is remarkable!
When you hyped up the bead art, I was expecting a really detailed medium-sized character sprite or something. Then you pulled out that gigantic goddamn Golvellius title screen. I'm still trying to scrape my jaw off the floor. Incredible work.
Years ago I bought the first season to Turbo Views and was super happy with making that decision. Each review is fun to watch. I had no idea about that complete box series. It is amazing that he set out to review every TG16 game (and some great pce titles) and was able to reach that goal.
I've recently moved to Japan, so most of my new game stuff is getting used DS and 3DS games for my small collection! So happy that I finally got every DQ for DS and 3DS. The only ones I don't have a physical copy are 1, 2 and 3
To be honest we may be old but we came from the best generation of gaming! Late 80s to the 90s. NES, snes, genesis, ps1, and even the arcade was a viable option! We’re into alot of different kinds of genres! Imagine growing up since the 2010s. Probably only be into fps. So sad for that generation lol!
I've picked up Live A Live, which I'm playing through currently. I'm loving every moment of it. I also picked up Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and I've pre-ordered the vinyl soundtracks to Phantasy Star 1 and Phantasy Star 2.
65 hours into Xenoblade 3 and it’s my favorite in the franchise. I adore it! I bought the collector’s edition of it so just waiting on the extra contents. Also ordered Soul Hackers 2 CE but itll be sent separately as well. My steamdeck 250 gb also finally came in from me ordering last October! I finished Live a Live and Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes recently too and i loved them especially Live a Live. It was very charming and unique.
I just recently got my first switch (animal crossing edition) and am catching up on Nintendo switch exclusives. I am playing Xenoblade chronicles 3 and am loving it. I also had to pickup pokemon arceus. I am very impressed but unfortunatel, i did not love breath of the wild having never played Zelda before, but there are many great games and am excited to get into my switch!
I finally received my Turrican Anthology Collector's Edition after 2 years of waiting. Despite some of the controversy surrounding it I'm very happy with the games. It came with an artbook, soundtrack and even a full blown Blu-ray Documentary!
I love Chris’s channel! I bought his Turbo shirt as well as the full DVD box set and had him sign it! His channel is a Gem of TH-cam. I love the episode with you on Double Dungeons as well!
Thanks for the journey you took us on the last 14 years or so. My son and I have been watching the second season and have had a fun tine locating and watching the Ester Eggs. I love your home filmed content from 1992. I told my son that he can film anything and that you were a great example doing it back in 92 before the convenience of Smart phones and Pc editing.
Thank you, Johnny. There's always something special in your videos. I'm just a little bit younger than you and I'm glad I lived and experienced the glorious 80s and 90s when everything was a bit simpler and a little bit more innocent than now.
I got mine 3 weeks ago and its an incredible recap explanation of all the Various Xenosaga games across multiple platforms. Really put me in the mood to replay the SAGA knowing what I know now enough to change my whole experience with a 2nd Playtrough.
Listen man… your whole demeanor. You just make me feel better when I watch you. Just like, this unadulterated joy of gaming. Brings me back to when I absolutely loved Final Fantasy 7 and I thought Squaresoft could do no wrong. So thank you, and I will continue to support your channel.
This week for me was quite eventful in that aspect! I got for the Nintendo Switch TMNT Shredder's Revenge and Darius Cozmic Collection Collector's Edition, both physical, and Elevator Action Returns for the Sega Saturn!
Some great new additions to your collection Johnny. Still never forget the time you visited my TH-cam stream of Detroit Beyond Human. Always thankful for that :)
Chris' series is amazing, one of my favorite channels and a big reason I got into the Turbografx as much as I did. That pearler looks amazing. I picked up Xenoblade as well and I have played through it, I still like the 1st one the best, Torna 2nd and 2 and 3 would have to duke it out for 3rd and 4th. I also picked up KeyWe on the PS5 which despite being a coop game you can play it by yourself and I had a lot of fun doing it solo. Starts of easy but it gets hard, I had to retry some of the last stages.
Been playing a game I never paid attention to: Ori and the Blinding Forest. I took a chance on trying it on Game Pass Ultimate, and I was blown away with the graphics, and how the gameplay reminded me so much of Metroid with the exploration, trying to get every single item, unlocking new powers. Really challenging game. I already downloaded the sequel on Xbox GPU, and I'll get right to it after beating this!
I recently picked up a physical copy of Castlevania: Circle of the Moon for the GBA. It's been super fun! I bring my DS (that I bought to play gba games on a good screen) to work and make small progress each day.
As of recently I've picked up Assassin's Creed Bloodlines (PSP), Syphon Filter Dark Mirror (PSP), Pokémon Omega Ruby (3DS), Kirby Superstar Ultra (DS), a Bomberman 64 Manual, a Donkey Kong County 2 Manual (SNES), a Phantasy Star Online 3 Strategy Guide, a Phantasy Star Universe Soundtrack CD, & a Crysis 1 Soundtrack CD!
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is amazing. I’m on chapter 6 right now and is shaping up to be a masterpiece. So many emotions going on right now I’m excited to see how it ends. Highly recommended for anyone to pick up and give it a try. The music alone is god-tier.
That pearler is beautiful, congrats on that awesome pickup! Also, I just ordered that xenosaga book for my brother for Christmas, those were his favorite games. Thanks for the heads up!
Yo Johnny! Awesome stuff! Always been a 40K Fan - For the Emperor! Scored an almost complete copy of Xenogears! Black Label (Need to find Disc one then I can check another Holy Grail off the list! )
I beat live a live on switch, it is certainly a must play rpg. I ordered tmnt cowabunga collection and final vendetta physical copies for switch but they don’t come until next week
Cool stuff. As of this writing, I got T&C Surk design for NES, Castlevania requiem Ps4 and TMNT Cowabunga collection(I'll have it on Aug.30th)! I also got Nintendo Power vol.54. I'm a fan of spida1a as well.
New game stuff for me: Pikmin 3 Deluxe, Axiom Verge 1+2 Dual Pack, Alwa's Collection, Life is Strange 2, Saints Row Notorious Edition (PS5), Infernax, Cathedral Retro Edition. I always love seeing all the games others have gotten. :)
Chris's channel is great. Pretty cool that he's local as well. Can't say I know him well but we are both active in the local theater community. One of the coolest things was seeing the collab between this channel. That DVD box is pretty sweet as well.
Just bought gran turismo 7 for $20 at walmart (ps4 version), upgraded it to ps5 ($10), quite a steal. Besides that I've been playing xenoblade3, 105 hours and only on chapter 4. Playing on hard mode and doing every quest. Great game so far.
I picked up, and have been subsequently playing the heck out of Xenoblade 3. It really has been fantastic so far. Aside from that, I've really getting into PS3 lately, I picked up Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Atelier Totori, and I'm aiming to get a complete Atelier PS3 collection
Got myself three games last week. My local store had a discount for Switch games for the summer vacation- Assassin Creed 2, Pikmin 3, and Shredder's Revenge. Didn't play them much, I got them now mainly for the discount. But AC2 is still amazing despite playing the PS3 version nine years ago.
I owned Ys 8 since launch I just never got around to playing it because I heard it was an open world game which is my least favorite type of game. I REALLY wish I didn't hear you, and others describe it that way. It has knocked Skies of Arcadia out of my top spot for favorite RPG. I'm close to the end, but I really don't want it to end so I'm trying to 100% everything to draw it out. I went ahead, and bought 9 while I was playing this to jump right into it after, though the theme looks less appealing I'm sure I will enjoy it
Bought Rollerdrome and I've been loving it. It's very fun and challenging. Tuesday I'm picking up TMNT: Cowabunga Collection and Friday picking up The Ascent, as it comes out physically.
Spelljammer! Awesome! It was a setting I really liked. They had so many good settings: Ravenloft, Dark Sun, Planes ofTorment, Dragonlance. Like you, I mixed and borrowed what I liked into my own world. I've been out of D&D for quite a long time now but it is nice to see they are reproducing some (or maybe all) of the old materials and settings.
I bought a PS5 Horizon Forbidden West bundle and an Xbox series X recently. I really like my PS5 and I'm looking forward to playing my series X when I get it set up. I've also bought the soundtracks to the first three Milla Jovovich Resident evil movies as well as several new games from Gamestop and Amazon. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 looks awesome and I can't wait to play it.
I've been buying up rare PS1 games via PSN on PS3 before they're gone for good... I bought a PS3 slim used. The HDMI port seems to be dead, but I can turn on the controller and blindly navigate to power it off with the controller. So, hopefully a set of AV cables will fix my issue.
Amazing video as always Johnny😃 Always look forward to your new game stuff, reviews and more, your passion always shines through 🥰! I wonder if you or anyone in the comments can tell me what game the song at 2:40 comes from? It sounds like something from Ys made by the falcom sound team, it’s awesome!
That Golvellius is incredible, Johnny! And cheers to you for supporting a local artist. Artists totally have to support each other, I hope you're having a great afternoon, buddy!
I'm absolutely loving xenoblade chronicles 3 I just finished chapter 5 and I'm about 110+ hours into the game and still doing sidequests lol the story characters and battle mechanic everything in xenoblade chronicles 3 is amazing imo
@@INSEIKYU01 nope u aren't the only after all it's a JRPG so I'm taking my time exploring and doing a ton of sidequests and the hero quest and sidequests are actually really fun imo.
Golvellius is one SMS title I’m looking for (along with Bank Panic) - one day, I’ll get a copy! Also, it just happened that I went to Press Start a month ago; though I didn’t find what I was looking for, it was a nice discovery. Will definitely visit again when I’m back in Vancouver! And “hottest day of the summer” - even hotter than on July 26th? It was my last day in Vancouver, and though I should be used to hot and humid summer weather since I live in Montreal, I still found it unbearable.
Finally received KOTOR switch, Deaths door PS5 physical and got back into forbidden west. I also picked up all 11 chainsaw man manga volumes (released so far)
Whenever Johnny makes a video over 20 minutes, I see him almost apologizing for making a long video. Never apologize, my man. We're here because we like you and like what you talk about and the passion behind it. Talk for two hours about all this stuff if you want. We'll still be here.
I picked up the Jak and Daxter trilogy on the PS2. I bought the Resistance games I needed to complete the trilogy for PS3. I found a copy of the Resident Evil Essentials collection for PS2 with Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica still sealed. The price on that was too good to pass up. I picked up a sealed copy of Returnal for less than 19 bucks. And finally....I just bought a copy of Castlevania Symphony of the Night for the PS1. I've been looking for a nice copy at a certain price and it took months but I think I finally found my copy. That will be in this week. Wish me luck
I bought the Taito Milestones collection solely for Ninja Saviors when it first came out. Worth the price of the cart alone! Just pre ordered the Ninja Jajamaru collection. Looks to be another great retro game collection!
I have so many games that I've bought and want to play but I work 60 plus hours a week 😭 the only time I get to play games anymore is when me and my best friend record our let's plays.
I got the webtoons Vols of Crumbs, Lore Olympus, Soul hackers 2 PS4, Miss Kobayashi's dragon maid Choro gon breath and Sd Gundam battle alliance on switch
your videos never cease to amaze me. I randomly bought all the space hulk games off of Amazon haha. I'm a huge Warhammer fan and at the price I found them, I couldn't pass it up.
The second I saw the Triangle Strategy Art Book made by Mook, I instantly Recalled this Exact style of art book that I bought in 2017 for Bravely Default 2010-2013 and Bravely Second 2013-2015, All Japanese but eventually got translated to English, In the JP version they put the art on Actual paper so that the light won't reflect from the book and it'll be easier to look at, also it makes it more personal like this was passed between the developers before it got to me. Those 2 Books are one of the best art book in my collection, and I got those since God Damn 2017 ! ! And now after you showed me this, I instantly got it, and then the missing years of that Book Series, which Is OCTOPATH TRAVELER 2016-2020. Another Collection Completed. Thank you a lot John.
I got lucky this month and was able to get Code of Princess Ex for a decent price. Xenoblade 3 will have to wait until I finish the first, but bought it day 1 to support the series, it's quickly become one of my favorites.
I've bought 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim for the Switch and Soul Hackers 2 for PS4. That's about every videogame I've bought for months. I've mostly bought movies.
I'm also in chapter 4 on Xenoblade, really digging it. I love how epic and over the top anime long battles get with the chain attacks XD Always a good time chasing those high dmg numbers on those.
Me just casually listening and looking over at the screen from time to time. Hears the worlds Xenosaga and I loose my mind what! Gonna order it and the Xenoblade Chronicles X manual here in a minute.
Wow, Johnny. Thank you for that wonderful mention. It means a lot! Here is to your continued success … I shall be watching. 😀😀
spida1a..... *takes a deep drag from a cigarette* I haven't heard that name in years... damn I loved your videos. Had no idea you finished every game!
Spida1a owns! So glad he completed his quest, great of Johnny to dedicate this video to a TH-cam OG!
Is it suppose to be pronounce like Spidala? With a 1 used instead of an L?

That Golvellius is incredible, Johnny! And cheers to you for supporting a local artist. Artists totally have to support each other, I hope you're having a great afternoon, buddy!
I'm absolutely loving xenoblade chronicles 3 I just finished chapter 5 and I'm about 110+ hours into the game and still doing sidequests lol the story characters and battle mechanic everything in xenoblade chronicles 3 is amazing imo
Whoa. That's a lot of hours. It is good fun though!
Oh good I thought I was the only one at over 100 hours and still on chapter 6 🤣🤣 but I must say I love the hero's on the water stage .

I'll be grabbing a box set on payday here! This is awesome, never heard of him, but I know I'll like it!
HCG is my weekly YT gaming comfort food.
Guardians was really quite fun. Its like Mass Effect lite in a lot of ways. Xenoblade 3 is great so far!
Thanks to this show I picked up the Blame! Manga and am absolutely loving it.
SUPERB video! Thank you for the fun and enjoyment.
It's always a pleasure to see your excitement with everything. Good choices!
Just got Monster hunter rise + Sunbreak
What a game you should try it !
Picked up xenoblade 3 and TMNT shredders revenge recently loving both!
I just picked up Lunar Silver Star Story Complete CIB and Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete CIB PS1
I'm in chapter 4 in XC3 and im loving it. And you should check the the new version of the anime of adventure of Dai, its really good.
Great video! What is your favourite game store in Vancouver/Burnaby/New Westminster for new and old game stuff?
Thank you a lot John.
also there's BRAVELY DEFAULT II 201X - 2021
Just finished Eldern Ring finally and popped Ni no Kuni white witch into my ps5 wow it blew me away how georgoeous it looks.
Loving it
