When You Complete An Insane Trial Just To Fail Anyways in Dungreed

- Things just get harder and harder, and this game was so difficult from the beginning. Grinding my way through the dungeons I find the fourth trial in the Lunar Desert. This one involved flying around defeating enemies and dodging a million projectiles. After many infuriating tries I manage to complete it. My reward for completing this impossible task? Nothing, nothing at all. This did of course unlock another trial that's apparently hidden somewhere within the game. I decide to try hard mode to take me there. I manage to make it as far as the second boss then get destroyed. Dungreed gameplay with my commentary as always!

Third gives u :

Fourth give u :

Fifth(the last) gives u :
1 point, 10 max health, 20% gold drop
Also the last(fifth) trial is in the burning kingdom in the room after defeating envyrok
I'm going to guess that playing hard mode before doing all of the stats aegis is pretty much impossible, and that DF will probably just have to grind through it 5 times in order to have a change at hard mode. DF, feels like you are about to have a lot of time to kill grinding those Aegis upgrades. But really, isn't that what you're good at?
Three Destinos not impossible. Hard mode is just straight up a bitch. Ice witch and slime give the most trouble simply because you can’t fucking nuke them..
@@xrampage16 with the right stuff he could get past them but the stats help. 30 starting hp and 5 ability points are big. A bit less damage in and more crit also help... more so with BoS healing on crits.

Imma keep spamming this until DF sees, (please do the same guys) but the *ultimate* combo in this game are the legendary wings and the spring boots. The spring boots deal increased damage the longer you stay in the air, and the wings allow you to stay in the air infinitely. He finally found the aegis function, he needs to see this now. Like and/or spam a comment similar to this so he can see it.
It's two accessory slots for 50% extra damage. It's not that good.
Draconocor it’s one accessory slot for 50% extra damage. The wings are an amazing accessory all on their own. One of the best. I’d say behind Blood of Srobeo, it is the best item in the game. Some may say it is the third best behind TAANA and Blood of Srobeo, but still, it is amazing
@@tominatorK I actually wouldn't put wings very high on the list because they negate a lot of the mobility you get from jumping and lowers dash distance. But to each their own.

Re-leveling doesn't take that long and the bonuses pay off when you've done it.
I would have kept the boomerang on the ice witch, it'd take longer but it's way safer.

It’s not like the challenges are actually dangerous to your run since you can attempt them any number of times without losing the run

No, you break the wall with the hammer that you can buy after the true boss of fire biome to unlock the path to the last boss.

Being tanky means nothing for hardmode since there is basic enemies that can hit you for over 50 hp... The trick is to kill things so fast they cant even react. If you get 5 points in wrath you can insta-kill most basic stuff with lots of the weapons and a "dash bomb" (attack+jump+dash downards+double jump quickly) and that can be chainned as much as you dash bar allows, this alone can nuke bosses like Tunak in a couple seconds. 20 points in swiftness is nearly a must, otherwise you wont get pass the ice witch unless you get good rng with items since she gets undodgeable patterns in hard mode without dash invulnerability, also you can do the "trick" of backing up the save file and reroll the altal until u get the item u need, that way u can start with most of the game sets right from the start guaranteed (ex. god of thunder, cosmos, rapier). Invulnerability during dash makes this game a joke...
The wall you checked in the last room leads to the true final boss and the final true ending but you need a hammer to break it which you unlock in the pit you unlocked by completing all challenges (it is in the room next when you beat the normal boss) but beware of the new boss in the pit a lava golem

Hey Df, Dungreed senior player here, trust me when I say that aegis is a big investment but is very worth it. Also if you want to try more characters you should try criminal or lotus, both are high dps but low defense characters. This is especially true in Criminal's case. Also if you do go for 5 aegis I would suggest investing it into swiftness as the double jump and fourth dash are invaluable to dodging.
Did anyone told to DF that foodshop is always in the third room from the start?
It can be in any direction, but if you cleared three rooms and didn't find it, you just need to return and try another path. Because there can be no foodshop in fourth or later rooms.
It always amazes me how fast you create high quality content.
Hey, remember when DF found coin-shooting minigun and tons of gold increasing accessories and gun upgrades? Shame he didn't use it.
Final boss trial: defeat the first 4 bosses, and a different door in the next room will appear to the boss room. Defeat 3 sets of rock hands to beat the boss (really hard) and by this point you need 4000 gold to get through the room to the right of the boss room and get the burning hammer. After that you need to beat every other boss, and at the side of the wall where you said it looked like you could crack it, you use the hammer to break the wall.
Forgot to say you need to look down after the Demon lord into the lava there should be a hole you jump into

You can break that wall in the final boss if you have an item called the ancient burning hammer
You have an accessory that heals you when you crit. That means the more crits you do, the more healing you receive. If you have 100% crit chance, thet means EVERY hit is a crit, which is healing. If you combine that with a fast attacking weapon, you crit more often, which means more healing.
Why haven’t you done this yet? All you have to do is take all the crit chance increases you can, and you’ll be basically invincible as long as you can attack.
Just do it.
(Edit: I realized the heal on crit has a 0.5 second cooldown, but still, do it)
You do realize its diminishing returns to get it past 50-60% right? That means its not taking the extra defense/evasion to slightly increase something that is already healing you every other hit, which is as fast as you can heal w/ the .5 sec cooldown.
It is far more beneficial to get rounded out stats and trying to give stats to all 3, prioritizing toughness/defense first. Evasion/block are by far the best stats to level up after toughness since its free hits, provided its not status effects. Apparently the devs didn't take that into account when doing evasion, so if you "avoid" a fireball you still take burn damage, same with ice(slow), poison(damage over time).

Something that might help you find the foodshop, the entrance is always on the sides so if you are searching for it check the paths on the sides first before you check up and down
DF you should really look at this game, Catacomb Kids, it's been developed by one guy for years and I swear it's insane how well he had made the game so far

Here's a tip for yah, the food shop will always spawn in a room to the left or right not up or down and I usually find it a room or 2 off of the starting room to either direction
After you defeat the fire stage boss you jump into the pit after it you will find a new boss

Skill or mods for him because there is almost no luck (heres a dumb thing because my internet on my computer ends after 10:30 which gets rid of the mods so i beat the whole game and got the 5 cell achievement before getting the third cell achievement) (well they added more dlc sooooooo haven't completed it)

The hole you are looking for is in the hell part of the dungeon after finishing that trial you are reworded a weapon that can break that crackd wall in caminels room
The food shop is always 3 spaces from the entrance of a dungeon and can only be entered horizontally btw :3

The crackable looking wall on the end is indeed crackable at some point when you beat Erta Ale and finish all the trials. It leads to a Porcupine boss and you get to meet the embodiment of Dungreed itself. To find Erta Ale, finish all the trials and go to the bridge in Envyrock and there'll be an unusual pit of fire leading to the miniboss. Buy his hammer after defeating him to obtain a permanent 20% burn chance on all attacks and the ability to crack that wall at the end after beating Kaminela.
DF remember food room always spawns in a horizontal room and usually close to the room you spawn in

DF go to the costume place and equip the devil swordsman lasley skin and kill lasley to get the human lasley skin for a secret ending

You need the shovel to open the wall and fight the true boss
Jump into the lava after the lava zone boss the lava is the pit of trials
