It is totally wrong to consider veershaiv Lingayat as separate religion. It is integral part of Hindu. After Islamic invasion in Bharat and current sinerio in the international as well as national level, the agenda of PFI to convert Bharat into Islamic state, it is dangerous to split Hindu. My dear friend you should read books of Rajiv Malhotras books breaking India and being different, Hindu Dharma is scientific religion, plz do your study about Hindu Dharma I have to many facts to prove this, but when you will start your own study about Hindu religion,we have different faiths, our way of worshipping god is different,there are many people who are atheist in Hindu religion and charvak is torchbearer of that and this is beauty of Hindu religion,Hindu religion have cosmopolitan characteristics, but you should study our ancient history for that my friend I have no time for that my friend, but it's my kind request without reasonable study of Hindu religion don't do such comments.

Basava tatva Lingayat dharma very basically it fought against all purohitshahi vaidik dharma and Basaveshwara estabkished Lingayat dharma openly as Avaidik dharma. Since Upadyaya & Donde looks like brahmin by their sirname, it is quite natural that they do not accept Lingayat dharma which is against their Vaidik Hindu dharma. But the same indian govt & supreme court hv already given such status to Jainism, Buddism is it ? Inspite of that Jainism, Buddhist are contributing to country's growth but they are not contributing to any party.

Basava tatva Lingayat dharma very basically it fought against all purohitshahi vaidik dharma and Basaveshwara estabkished Lingayat dharma openly as Avaidik dharma.
