All things aside, Claire is a better athlete. She almost won the weight run against an opponent well above her weight class. She has a very high power to weight ratio, amazing balance and flexibility to match. If you're reading this, then you are sitting down watching TH-cam so she could probably kick your ass.

1 example doesn't prove it otherwise. Men are in general stronger than women. This woman has certainly trained more in specific areas (she is a gymnast, she has done hurdles but this dude is not as experienced in them). The comparison is not right.
@Samyak H P Me and my boyfriend train together he has been a varsity athlete for years and I beat him at the leg press and squats all the time. On the other hand, the only thing I have ever done is just go to the gym. The dude in this video does not even have arm strength. The girl beat him at pull ups. You don’t need to train to be better than someone at pull ups. If he were stronger he could’ve outperformed her in this simple task. It does not require you to be a super athlete.

You definitely need practice to increase the number of pull-ups. You need strength in you back muscles and brachio radialis in order to perform them efficiently and for a longer period. Athletes don't train to be strong specifically, they train to have endurance and stamina.

Both parties workout, he had muscle on him and so did she, thus, they both had strength in them. Now strength and endurance and stamina come hand to hand. FYI athletes do train for strength, specifically, basketball players lift weights so they can be strong, football players weight train, even runners like Lolo Jones lift a ton of weight, why? Strength, stamina and endurance come hand in hand. In this video both of them were fit. One can not isolate strength from endurance and stamina. You want to attribute the fact that she did more pull ups due to her increase stamina as an athlete, but keep in mind men have 10x more testosterone than women. Testosterone levels are associated with increased stamina and less ability to fatigue, her being an athlete was not of a disadvantage to him in anyway. He had the “genetic predisposition” to beat her at pull ups but because this women started weightlifting and working out hard she out beat him. That’s the end, I do not think you are an idiot, just uneducated ;)

@Samyak H P Me and my boyfriend train together he has been a varsity athlete for years and I beat him at the leg press and squats all the time. On the other hand, the only thing I have ever done is just go to the gym. The dude in this video does not even have arm strength. The girl beat him at pull ups. You don’t need to train to be better than someone at pull ups. If he were stronger he could’ve outperformed her in this simple task. It does not require you to be a super athlete.

You definitely need practice to increase the number of pull-ups. You need strength in you back muscles and brachio radialis in order to perform them efficiently and for a longer period. Athletes don't train to be strong specifically, they train to have endurance and stamina.
@@samyakhp4353 I meant you don’t need to train as in go athlete mode for training to beat someone at pull ups. This guy had gym training, meaning he had gained muscle and strength. Both parties workout, he had muscle on him and so did she, thus, they both had strength in them. Now strength and endurance and stamina come hand to hand. FYI athletes do train for strength, specifically, basketball players lift weights so they can be strong, football players weight train, even runners like Lolo Jones lift a ton of weight, why? Strength, stamina and endurance come hand in hand. In this video both of them were fit. One can not isolate strength from endurance and stamina. You want to attribute the fact that she did more pull ups due to her increase stamina as an athlete, but keep in mind men have 10x more testosterone than women. Testosterone levels are associated with increased stamina and less ability to fatigue, her being an athlete was not of a disadvantage to him in anyway. He had the “genetic predisposition” to beat her at pull ups but because this women started weightlifting and working out hard she out beat him. That’s the end, I do not think you are an idiot, just uneducated ;)
