Alicia Vikander should be proud. She made a solid foundational film giving a fresh take on Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. I really liked the film and Vikander and the storyline itself set up sequels for real promise and potential. It's a real shame that the MGM studio lost the rights to Tomb Raider after missing the deadline to completing a sequel. It's not only a killing stroke for the storyline they began but for Vikander as Lara Croft. Such a shame for her efforts in taking on this role. I hope that in the studio bidding war, the right studio will really see Tomb Raider for the gem that it is. I've always believed Tomb Raider could be a female movie franchise like James Bond. A never-ending saga of films from different runs of actresses. I am very much hoping one of these studios catches my vision and brings that level of "James Bond" excellence to the franchise of Tomb Raider. I could see Daisy Ridley, Hayley Atwell, or Gemma Arterton getting a hold of this and being a great Lara Croft. But the production of the film studio and the story has to be treated right. They have to value potential that this series can have and make it great out with gate with no-nonsense. They have to treat it seriously. If only I could turn back time and cast Rhona Mitra in her early 30s.

This movie was epic. Her action scenes were tough and sinewy and breathtaking. Right up there with the first Matrix film, in terms of incredible action scenes.
Who cares if the movie was shit, they gave us for once a lead action actress that looked realistically strong and was a badass and saved herself, with no love interest. That was such a breath of fresh air and for many of us the inspiration to become strong physical women. That counts for something.
as huge lover of Tomb Raider franchise this movie was very similar to game. Felt familiar and engaging. Loved her as Lara a lot and her dedication is absolute killer.
Everyone calling her bad-ass when she have a stunt double taking risks that no-one even mentions. They should at-least let her stunt-double workout in that facility with proper nutrition.
The majority of actors have a stunt double. I think the crew was more impressed at how much she personally did, despite having the option to use the double more often. The double is well aware they're not going to be publicly acknowledged, just maybe personally and financially lol and many of them prefer it that way.
On IMDB, looks like Alicia's stunt doubles were Sophie Hind (officially credited), Hannah Behan, Heidi Dickson, Jessica Hooker, Lucy Jayne Murray, Fleur van Eeden, and Violet Verigo (not officially credited)! Claps for all of them!
Wow, that's some dedication. It's a misconception that big weights make a big girl. I've been lifting for six years and I haven't gotten big. That diet though! I wish someone would come make my meals like that!
I cannot believe this movie was underrated .I hope the sequel will be a smashing hit not base on a game ..Love Alicia perfect for the role .who can imagine a."Petite Girl" is saving humanity as Lara Croft .Marmalize us girl next time..
I loooove that Alicia mentions she gained weight in muscle! That's something so many people, especially young women need to hear. Your body weight is just one indicator of health, what's much more important is body composition. Little visceral fat and high muscle mass is way healthier than having a low weight.
I absolutely loved her tone for this character, the not overconfident-down to earth way she portrayed Lara, her muscles poppin up any time action hits, her mistakes during a fight, I mean, we all could see the effort she put on every scene, she made it real, brought the character to reality, she was amazing to me.

Why? She did great as an actress. The plot failed because of the writer, director and the lot who couldn't make the movie pop.
Loved this film 👌👌 she is a great Lara Croft 🔥
Fascinating! Alicia's incredibly shredded!
Man her body and face together she is beautiful
She’s too skinny and She ain’t got no booty. I would die to have her abs tho.
@@katierojas8066 Yes because having a booty means something LOL
LL it really does 😬
Lara Croft has always been my favourite video game character, and I loved Alicia Vikander's portrayal of the icon.
She was the perfect Laura Croft
Well well well...... look, she is a good actrees and she worked so hard for this character but no..... Angelina ufff.... Angie was the first, and....the original Lara. Core design. I'm a Lara's fan since 1996, and....Alicia and Lara from Crystal Dinamics....for me, Crystal murder to her. Lara was a little dead when stared to change in TR legend but defitnely die in Tomb Raider Underworld.
They changed the original history, the weapon, the essence, the...... ah....please.
Sorry 4 my inglish. A huge from Spain
I'm so impressed by her english, she doesn't sound swedish at all
I seriously want a sequel
We're getting a sequel. They already got a new writer and director and she's currently writing the sequel now. Alicia is still interested in returning
I *REALLY* need more fighting movies/scenes for Ms. Alicia!!! 😫😫😫😫 SHE'S THE BEST!!!!! 😁😁😁😁
This pinhead movie was really beneath her; she is an intelligent, talented, and attractive woman.
I think she was great in this. And looked going doing it. It’s one of my fave movies.
I noticed there was a couple of clips that they didn’t include in the movie where she’s on a motorcycle. I wished we would have gotten those scenes.
Thanks for the video!
Just watched this movie with my mum we both loved it she did an amazing job 😃
My parents enjoyed Alicia's Tomb Raider, but I didn't really enjoyed it. I still havent watched Angelina's, but maybe one day I will.
Alicia is perfect for Lara Croft. Lara has been my hero since she came out in 96, I absolutely love this character so much and I am so happy about how they haven't given up on her yet! Can't wait to see more Lara croft movies with Alicia!
Honestly the movie could've been better. But she nailed the role and I appreciate the effort and hard work she put into it.
i hope they get to the second movie once quarantine is over, AV is amazing
Обожаю Алисию, смотрела много фильмов с ней, невероятная актриса!!! Одна из моих любимых 😍
I honestly enjoyed this movie. It's hard to follow up Tomb Raider once it's already been done. I'd love to see her in another movie.
Speaking of Lara Croft and considering the fact that the sequel to the movie Tomb Raider (2018) is cancelled, I think it would be great if there were two more Tomb Raider or Lara Croft movies!
Therefore, I strongly advocate that you sign a fan petition for not 1 but 2 more Lara Croft or Tomb Raider films!
Here’s my fan signature: Jason Lau
Will you sign a petition for two more films?
She's so cool I want to become like her.
She's good and all but nothing can beat the original.
This movie was epic. Her action scenes were tough and sinewy and breathtaking. Right up there with the first Matrix film, in terms of incredible action scenes.
She's a great actress and obviously utterly committed to the prep. The script let her hard work down.
If this was a trailer for the CrossFit games...it would have been compelling.
She was perfect in the role and a great actress ,if you didnt like this movie your nuts its great acting and entertainment
Make her an avenger or DC character please. 🥰🥰🥰
This movie is so inspiring to exercise and imma old lady! She did such a great job and a really fun movie worth the purchase for your movie library
Everyone calling her bad-ass when she have a stunt double taking risks that no-one even mentions. They should at-least let her stunt-double workout in that facility with proper nutrition.
She did a lot of her own stunts and the double already knows what to do to get the results needed when they were needed.
I watch this to get hyped for a new workout routine. A bit of a pump up after being lazy 😉
I liked this movie
I love Alicia Vikander
Loved this movie! 🤗
Wow, that's some dedication. It's a misconception that big weights make a big girl. I've been lifting for six years and I haven't gotten big. That diet though! I wish someone would come make my meals like that!
Can you db curl 30 or 40 lbs? Love strong beautiful woman so cool
Angie jolie will always be the #1 Lara Croft for me. Grew up on it.
On another note yasss new Lara lol
She's flippin awesome!!!!
I cannot believe this movie was underrated .I hope the sequel will be a smashing hit not base on a game ..Love Alicia perfect for the role .who can imagine a."Petite Girl" is saving humanity as Lara Croft .Marmalize us girl next time..
Honestly the film was really fun, wish they could’ve made a sequel
I wish Angelina did more of this in her movie but regardless i loved her and omg this girl is strong!
She's more badass then Brie Larson 😍
Where???????
so enjoy Alicia Vikander content and stop comparing different person!
why put someone down just to prove your personal pov?
You know they both had the same trainer lol
We don’t compare women here
I loooove that Alicia mentions she gained weight in muscle! That's something so many people, especially young women need to hear. Your body weight is just one indicator of health, what's much more important is body composition. Little visceral fat and high muscle mass is way healthier than having a low weight.
Imagine putting this much effort and then the movie not doing well at all
Bet he got paid well though.
