@elainehoffman7709 Hi Elaine, that's so weird! I replied to your message in the Lily raincoat thread but I've just checked and it's gone 😯. Perhaps it'll be better if you send me messages under my videos? Or dm me through Instagram? Just in case the new message disappears I'll pop it under this video 🤞. ....... It disappeared again! I've replied a number of times to your question in Beth's and Lily's videos but they keep disappearing 😢. Anyhoo to answer your question, it's called a Magic Seam Marker from Sew Easy and you should be able to get it in good sewing/craft shops. Mine was £1.80 from Hobbycraft (UK). I absolutely love it and wouldn't be without it now ☺️.
Thanks Milly I got it this time. Thanks for telling me where to find your reply. I hope you are doing well. I can't wait till Summer is over. I absolutely can not stand Summer time.
@@elainehoffman7709 What a relief that you got the information at last! It was horrible that the messages kept disappearing because I was worried that you might think I was ignoring you, I would never do that. I'm doing ok thanks, sorry to hear that your summer is horrible. Is it too hot? I don't like that either but it's ok here in England at the moment temperature wise.
@@millydollydame I suffer from Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and the heat really bothers me unless I am swimming in an ice cold pool outside. That is how I dealt with my Summers growing up in New York. I have been living in Colorado Springs, CO since 1980, taking a 6 year break while serving in the USAF in West Germany in the 1980's for 5 1/2 years then I returned to Colorado again. It is semi arid here. Hardly any humidity. But this year even our swamp cooler doesn't work because there is so much humidity.
@@elainehoffman7709 Hi Elaine, I'm so sorry to hear about your MS and that it's progressive. I'm glad that you can find some relief though it's a shame you can't live in a pool! How bizarre that there's lots of humidity now where you live, I don't know what a swamp cooler is but it sounds fun. One of my grandmothers was from West Germany (near Dusseldorf I think) but moved to Holland as a child.
Thanks so much! 😊💖💖💖 Funnily enough the dress is the same as in the Simplicity pattern that you gave me (skating skirt collab) but I had the Skipper version from Etsy. It didn't have the skater skirt. ☺️
I really like sewing on Taffeta, when sewing for dolls! Your dress came out so pretty, and the workmanship is beautiful! It is kind of sad that your Prom Queen had to go to Prom without a date! But, it just goes to show, girls can stand strong on their own! Go girl! Thank you for sharing-very cute! 😊
Love your Licca, we must have more. Loved seeing the thought location and creation, what a wonderful view. Your backdrop and dance scenes was so beautiful and cute. I think she is the prom queen.
Wow!!! This dress is so stunning and I bet you really enjoyed visiting your mom. The view is amazing!!! Great video!!! Great idea for the background as well!!! 🕺💃🕺💃✨✨✨
This is such an adorable video of your Licca doll going to the prom. I love her high voice and all the music you have for this. You make the cutest videos. It makes me smile from ear to ear. I ordered the Magic Seam Marker from Sew Easy from Amazon today. Thank you so much for letting me know the name of it and where to find it. You are so kind to me and I really appreciate your friendship so much. You must of had a wonderful time with your mother in Ireland. What a beautiful view from her window that you had last year. I love Europe so much. Never made it to Ireland, but did make it to England twice in London. I want to make it to the Lake District where Beatrix Potter had all of her estates. I hear it is beautiful there. I would also love to travel to Scotland and Ireland as well. I have been to all of Scandinavia with my Grammie when she was 75 years old in 1985. We both went for 15 days. We had so much fun. My Great Grandmother was from Rattvick, Darlana Sweden near Skansen the Open Air Museum. IN fact her childhood home was disassembled and re located to Skansen where hundreds of tourists visit it every year. We both did not get to go there at that time. My Grammie went with her Grandmother's Club from Kissimmee Florida after she got back from our trip. She passed away in 2006 and so did my Nana. I miss them both so much. Hope you are well. I know I need to write to you more often. Did I mention to you about the world having a new internet yet and saving all your files and videos on a Thumb drive? I hope I did. I do political research every day and it looks like things will change in the last week of August. So get ready for a New World to happen for you and all of us. Maybe one day I can come a visit you and my pen pal Susan O'Brien as well. Love you Milly, Love, Elaine
Thanks so much Elaine, I'm so glad you like my little video 😊💖. It was lovely in Ireland. You've travelled so much! It must have been wonderful going around Scandinavia with your family history. I'm half Dutch so I lived in the north of the Netherlands for most of my childhood. Like you, I've never been to the Lake District, I would like to travel a bit more. Thanks for reminding me about the new internet, my new memory card has arrived so that will help thanks. I'm so glad you've been able to get hold of the magic seam marker, it makes the process a lot easier. It's curious that my replies kept disappearing, probably because they were under someone else's video? It was good to hear from you, take care 🤗

Thanks, it was from a vintage Skipper pattern (PDF bought on Etsy) and the cape was Stitch by Stitch with Lily (free pattern #14). 💖💖💖
