She's actually a lot cuter then I originally thought! She's a fun little doll. Really cute top you made for her!💛 I much prefer the fabric to the plastic clothes! 😁
Thanks so much Jenna ✨🥰❤️✨ She's definitely better in real life. The stock photos made these dolls look a bit scary! 😄 I'm looking forward to getting little Opal next week 🤍🤗
@@natalidolll IYes I thought you might like the pink one! 😄🩷✨ Amaya's little sister Opal is arriving next week so I'll have another video up soon, better quality than this one! I used an old phone and didn't realise it had colour issues 😢
@@millydollydame yeah I told Amaya it's Opal omg she's gorgeous like a fairy definitely I want her! Excited to see her in your next video🌟🌟🌟🎁🛍 lots of new stuff are coming out ahh I Don't know where to put my money on, I'll get some Barbie land mini too and Barbie dream besties are out too absolutely beautiful Malibu, Teresa and Brooklyn Barbie 💙💙🌟
Daisy looks adorable in the top that you made, definitely beats that plastic/rubber top she came this. I fail to understand why they couldn't have given her a material top, I mean she already has a material skirt???? The eyes actually look okay too, they have a shine to them by the looks of it. I really don't like the strange hand gestures though.
Thanks so much ✨🥰❤️🤗✨ Yes it really is bizarre that they gave her half a fabric outfit. Especially seeing as it was easy to put the fabric top on! It's definitely a shame about the hand gestures 😔
Oh she is cute, I've not seen these - hope we get them over here too - she does look more innocent which I like- great review and good idea to use the rubber top as a template 🥰🥰
This just came up now, why didn’t I see it before?! She is very cute. She’d be even more fun jointed, but yes you are right, suits a young child more this way. So much nicer having a sewn top, clever you. 😊. I love yellow too!
I had no idea the skirts were still useable! That makes handmade clothing easier because a top is an easy starter to add on. So odd mga that did this half polly clothing for them.
What a brilliant and comforting video 🥰 I love your style of filming, choice of relaxing but happy background music, everything's the same volume 😁 and you're very patient and creative! 😊 I love that you keep it real and don't edit out mistakes, it means the viewers can learn from yours 🙏🏻 I love learning about all things dolls and I want to start making doll clothes very soon 💕 I wonder, where you used your household iron to press the clothes, would a (clean) hair straightener do? 🤔🙂 So long as it's a lower temperature (?) Can I ask, did you have your iron at 100°C or higher? Wonderful video 🥰 Your top came out lovely 💛
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, I really appreciate it ☺️❤️🤗 I'm glad you thought it was ok for me to leave my mistake in, I'd hoped that it would show mistakes happen no matter how long someone's been sewing 😄 It would be great if you start sewing doll clothes and it's such a bonus that you don't need much fabric. I used one of my vests for Daisy's top. My iron was fairly high but not on maximum. I'm afraid it doesn't have a temperature gauge sorry. A hair straightener would probably be ok to use but probably very tricky because it doesn't have a pointy end. I've never tried it though so I wish you good luck 🤞. Thanks again for your lovely comment ✨☺️❤️😍❤️🤗✨
@@millydollydame You're very welcome!! 😁😊💓 I definitely think it's more educational when mistakes are left in 🙏🏻 That's very true! No matter how long you've been doing the craft, mistakes can and will happen 😊 It can be frustrating at the time but seeing other's mistakes reminds you that it's normal 😌 mistakes are a huge part of the learning process 💝🪡🧵 Thank you! 😁 With the hair straighteners, I'd envisioned using them closed and using the outer edge of the plates or something (sorry if that doesn't make sense! 🙈) So it'd be like the straighteners are a magic wand of heat 🪄😆 If that doesn't work, I'd probably mount my heat proof mat on my cutting mat, pull it a like a quarter of the way off the table and press the clothing on it with one iron of the straighteners 🤔 (without clamping the straighteners on the cutting mat underneath of course!) All of that has yet to be tried, so thank you very much for the well wishes!! 🥰😁😆🙏🏻

She is so adorable and I love all of the details!
Thank you for sharing your tutorial on her top! So, sew appreciated!! 🥰💖😍♥️
Thanks so much Dorie ✨💛🥰✨
She's a sweet little doll and I'm hoping this will also encourage younger viewers to sew. 🤗
That's what I was thinking! From this pattern you can make a nice wardrobe for her!❤
Definitely! Next I might make a drop waisted dress with a gathered knee length skirt 🤔
Have fun sewing for Amethyst Willow 🤗💜
YOU are a genius!! That rubber top was such a disappointment! I will definitely be making a cloth top for my Amethyst Willow! Thank you!!!❤
Thanks so much Ela, I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll make🥰❤️🤗
