Nice video. Not picking it apart, but you should refer to the track tension guide to make sure you don't over tighten those tracks. With the tracks off the ground, you should be able to slide 2 fingers in between the center rollers and the track.
Thank you ! If you pause at 10:42, i did check it with 4 fingers between the track and carrage, which was 2 fingers under the center rollers! Same result, different method! But your comment will definitely help others since i didnt really explain that.
Hey man, great video! How do you like those tracks? I actually have a 2016 TL8 myself and the tracks are shot. Wondering if OEM is worth the money or if you have any advice on tracks. I love the machine too but it needs work on the front idler on one side, the frame is severely worn and there's a lot of play allowing it to move up and down and side to side. Track keeps coming off that side.
hey man! I got these tracks through united rentals so who actually knows what brand they are. as far as how I like them, id say they are sub par at best, but get the job done. I would go with a different pattern the next go around. something about these taks makes the front idlers wear out quickly. definitely keep everything greased daily!!
Holy shit my man you need to grease every zirque fitting on your machine even before you install new tracks. Should never here a squeak or groan out of a tl8!
