Nu Metal started my journey with rock and metal. Significant Other will always be my favorite album from Limp Bizkit.
LB is my favorite band, i am so patrishan and i like kinda everything in the music industry im a massive fan of Nu-metal and i recommend you guys to check Limp Bizkit Kenny Knows Compilation, is an interesting playlist with b sides, unreleased songs, good demos and covers it seems like an underground album by Limp Bizkit, if one of you guys get hooked comment here, it'd make me proud.
Bizkit is still a good nostalgia trip. It was and always will be enjoyable to me.

I saw Limp Bizkit at Graspop and they had the wildest crowd by far. It's like one huge moshpit. It's a shame they get so much hate.

Saw em in summer sanitarium and hate to say it, but as far as stage presence and crowd reaction they put Metallica to shame

You can hate Durst and LB all you want but at least there was still genre diversity in the mainstream in the early-00s. Nowadays, it's mainly trap hip-hop and this redundant, wimpy nasal-toned aesthetic. Most of the top pop songs on Spotify use the same drums and song structure. Very little difference sonically and creatively.

Not true at all hip hop is the most diverse it has ever been but they is obviously a lot of repetitive styles in some music nowadays

The underground has a lot of talented rappers but the mainstream hip hop nowadays is just trash filled with ghostwriters, shitty lyrics, and people who completely rely on autotune. Nu metal was the most diverse and greatest moments of my life. It's like hip hop/ rock. Best of both worlds which I like. Honestly who's like bizkit? Who's like static x.(r.i.p) ,or Slipknot. That's an artist to me. Fresh sound that's your own. The industry cant cookie cut forever.

I still think Nu metal sounds fresh today. I mean, the bands that came after never really improved upon the sound. Metal/rock hasn't even evolved much since those bands paved the way back then.

I don't really think they'll ever release it. I mean... Wes is doing his own thing, Sam and John are chilling, Fred doesn't seem too excited about Stampede... Sure, they still put a lot of energy in their live shows, but I don't think anyone of them is too keen to release this album soon enough. But then again, Axl took his time and Chinese Democracy still came out.
To be honest, I'm hoping they release it in a huge BANG, something fresh and original, and get the apotheotic "return" they deserve.
