Hahaha!!! Yes! If you’re interested in what Bulgarian life was like in the 1800’s they are worth a look inside. We had never seen architecture like that before. Most were in disrepair and had to be refurbished into what they are today. It was like stepping back in time and we really enjoyed it.
@@dayanbalevski4446 Fun fact about the houses, if you wonder why the top is larger than the lower floor. During the Otoman time houses were taxes related to the space it was standing on. So they kept the ground floors small and expanded the top floors.
MY PRETTY, BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL AND BELOVED BULGARIA! NOWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD HAVE SUCH BEAUTY AS IN BULGARIA! I LOVE VERY MUCH BULGARIA! I AM HALF RUSSIAN, HALF BULGARIAN, BECAUSE MY MOTHER IS RUSSIAN, AND MY FATHER WAS BULGARIAN, HE DIED 16 YEARS AGO FROM LUNG CANCER! I FEEL MYSELF BULGARIAN!
You guys didn't stop eating and drinking all the time...! You didn't even have time left to show most of the sights in Plovdiv. I am concerned about your health, because Bulgarian cuisine is very nutritious and if you overdo it, you can seriously suffer!
“Bloomp-hers” lol love it! The Roman theaters was cool. Was there anything special about the houses? Or were they just houses?
Hahaha!!!

It isn't your typical architecture either, the houses are opulent for their time and very colorful with everything being hand crafted by artisans.
