Beautiful drone shots of the city! Awww such a cute doggo at 3:27. I love the look of the chocolate croissant. I've tied that cup and ball game before and it is soooo hard! I'm glad you found an umbrella alley after not finding the one in Bucharest. There's certainly lots of cool street-art there. April's dance in the theatre was fantastic. Wow, they let you fly the drone? Much better service than in Greece! Your apartment is so cute! Oh wow the kebab or 'meat sword' at 14:00 looks amazing. So much awesome meat.

The Roman theatre is used for opera and other outdoor performances in summer. If you are in Plovdiv in summer, you should definitely go to a performance. Plovdiv is home to an excellent opera house and conservatory, overlooking the theatre. The Roman stadium is in the centre of town...you can see part of ut, if you go down the stairs across from the mosques. this is where the lions were! 😊

Plovdiv has lots of artwork on the sides of building, did you two see that and what did you think of it? Your salad also had eggplant in it too, What was that cake you guys had? I want to see if my mother in law can make it
We saw a fair amount of Plovdiv's street art, but since we have shared this video with others, we have learned that there was still more we did not see...we found it to be very cool-looking, diverse and thoughtful! How do you like Plovdiv's street art? Our server says the name of it at 15:18 but I don't know if you can understand him... We do not know what it is--it had white raisins on top, it was similar to a pudding-like spice cake... Hope you can figure it out so she can make it for you; it was so very delicious!

Bulgaria like some of Eastern Bloc countries, just seem to find a better way to preserve the historic buildings. That bennie looks perfect for April. It is rare to see kids these days not glued to their phones. Good for them to playing outside! Love the drone shot and the music selections. Thank you for sharing! (Both of your singing were fine.)

LOL, awesome! April says, thank you--and what's my prize?? 😁 We were very pleasantly surprised by Bulgaria; we wished we had longer to explore! And it is so affordable there! Driving was easy enough--rough roads in spots and some (fun) switchbacks in the mountains. Most people we encountered spoke at least a little broken English. OMG, that dessert was sooo delicious!
Omg the stairs at the Booking.com place are soooo tiny! But that is a great price for your unit. And looks very nice. Was it a pretty convenient location?
The price of that stay through booking.com is a good deal. I love that this area of Bulgaria has still so much history left. From a colosseum to the old village.
Wow I had zero idea of ancient roman sites in Bulgaria, and the theater from the first century! How did you get special permission for the done? I never know who to ask for that. Also that flashing light in the bathroom was like something from a paranormal activity movie, super creepy. And the line that finished me was from April: "I like your meat sword" hahaha classic!
It was very cool to visit this ancient theater! I spoke with a worker who runs the place and she was willing to make a phone call to the director to ask for me. It is so strange when lights do that when you're filming. LOL 😆😂
What time of year were you guys there where it was that cold? How refreshing to see children actually acting like children and not just sitting brain-dead on a phone.
We visited in December; we were actually there for Christmas and New Year's Eve. Yes, definitely refreshing. Thank you for watching our video all the way through 😇
i think what youre eating is a "cookie cake", basically a cheap and fast way to make cake during socialist times, plain butter biscuits and sweet corn starch is the recipe, but as time has passed restaurants especially try and give it their own twist to justify the price, so basically better biscuits and swap out the starch for mascarpone or whatever you decide.
